It has to be a bit bland, but then again, the broth had kelp in it and the flavors from veggies, mushrooms and fish must have added something to the overall flavor. They also had that sauce in their bowls. The Japanese don't seem to use spices that much.
that's why they have condiments and sauce also the broth is simmering with konbu it's not really bland but once the all flavors are packed in the broth the broth will be delicious. also the fish was not frozen so it still has all the flavors intact
Not Japanese, but Chinese and we have something very similar. The soup is actually rather flavourful from all the vegetables, mushrooms, and meat. We just add sauces for extra flavour but it won't be too bland on its own.
No, that is just how kids in my town grew up. We respected our elders, and learned to take care of ourselves. The media chooses to show the bad side of American youth because the story is more interesting. It is as simple as that. Don't get me wrong I know some kids that grew up as spoiled little brats and most of them are hooked on drugs or alcohol right now, but the majority of the kids I knew grew up the same way I did.

Yeah like it’s actually their fault. People blame the individual for a widespread crisis when its mostly larger and more sinister entities that are responsible. The food industry went on an anti fat campaign, demonizing fat and creating fat free products.this made health in the us worse as fat was substituted for extra sugar and carbs to compensate for changes in taste. Then the us govt tells ppl to eat lots of carbs and fat free products. Who decided upon the food pyramid? Who told us to take a certain amount of vitamins a day? Items banned in Europe and Canada are widespread in the us. Gone are the days of when the 3 branches of the US government were the executive, legislative and the judicial branches as these roles were taken by the lobbyists representing the legislative branch, MSM representing the judicial branch and the executive branch scribbling papers all day to make stuff look legit.
Japanese cuisine is tasty, healthy and remarkable. Notice how ingredients are cut and prepared so delicately--and there is balance of rice, vegetables, proteins. Just Delightful. 👪💓💓

@Hinata hyuga interesting, so all Asians like Pakistan, india, Afghanistan, Arabs, Iran eat boiled foods often?
What I notice is that the food is Soooo healthy. Love it
This is the definition of fresh, super light as well.
bruh, we be eating pizza
Typical Americans lol
Lmao tru
+PO TO yer profile pic makes it 10 times funnier XD
At every meal basically. I'm Canadian btw, and I have that so frequently it's not even funny, lol
Kevin Lin we be eating mcdonald's and shiz
This is like a hot pot that I have in China, full of good food and the stock left at the end is so full of flavor....
Hi 👋🏻
LOVE little Shin dancing around the living room. ADORABLE!!!!!
Toaster ovens built into the counter is choice.
You inspire me to eat Japanese food.
Watching this in 2019 these cute kids grew up so fast
How adorable! What a beautiful family. Enjoy your dinner 😋
Weirdly seeing them have a fresh meal everyday is satisfying. Wish we had time to do this 😂
omg...I wonder how the taste is like without any spices...
I've noticed that also
It has to be a bit bland, but then again, the broth had kelp in it and the flavors from veggies, mushrooms and fish must have added something to the overall flavor.
I believe the flavor for their meal was savory. Not too salty just right. Makes me feel disgusted with myself for wanting a taco right now lol
Not Japanese, but Chinese and we have something very similar. The soup is actually rather flavourful from all the vegetables, mushrooms, and meat. We just add sauces for extra flavour but it won't be too bland on its own.
Did i hear Bombay gas stove ?
Bombay is a big city in India
Bombay is a vegie in Indonesia, used for flavor. Off topic? Yep. ( I'm off topic, not the main comment )
the way she talks is so explanatory
It looks wonderful. Makes me feel sad eating the trash I cook.
Can someone tell me why I m addicted to watching these ppl?.... I can’t stop...
Japanese Kids :
• makes there own food.
•Does dishes
•Cleans after there done.
American Kids:
•Buys Fast food
•Throws trash on ground when finished.
? I am american and I have been cooking and cleaning up after myself since I was 6. Your argument is invalid.
@@gentlemortal I mean, you are kind of part of the minority
No, that is just how kids in my town grew up. We respected our elders, and learned to take care of ourselves. The media chooses to show the bad side of American youth because the story is more interesting. It is as simple as that. Don't get me wrong I know some kids that grew up as spoiled little brats and most of them are hooked on drugs or alcohol right now, but the majority of the kids I knew grew up the same way I did.
@@gentlemortal It kind of depends on how old you are and what ethnicity is predominant in your area. Sure, there are respectful people, but the current generation is pretty toxic. This is spoken from experience, I'm not a sour adult.
gentlemortal Liar. For one, drugs and alcohol aren't related to being a "spoiled little brat"
I have translated the video into swedish, I would be grateful if someone could review it so that it can be put into the video.
+Cornelia Karlsson Oh thanks!

in Saudi Arabia we have some meat any kind of meat like fish, lamb, chicken or beef one of these meats and with rice
....... but I'm vegetarian so I just eat rice whenever my family cooks some dinner
Hahah, I'm Saudi too and also Vegan :D *Fist bump*
+Sara ⓥ :3 :D *fist bump*
+Chase Wong WHAT THAT'S A THING
HELL NO I've been born and raised in Saudi Arabia and I have never heard of that
***** I've heard it's a thing, practiced in rural communities, but I haven't known someone who does it... I've also heard it has caused a HUGE spike in the spreading of the MERS virus here in Saudi.. I could only imagine the diseases it would spread and harms it causes, not to mention it's disgusting :( apparently there are people who claim the prophet did it. I doubt that he did and even if it was true I wouldn't do it just because he wasn't an angel on earth (being human) so I disagree with idolising him and mimicking his every action and attribute. Anyways, sorry if I babbled too much this is just what I think of it.
faguette There are many other ways to get protein other than meat.
Wow Japanese kitchens are pretty high tech
It's Japan -.-
japan isnt as high tech as most might think, sure theres alot of innovations and but much of everyday life is almost the same as it was back it the late 90s early 2000s
GummyBearRecords its japan...japan...duh...
Looks very yummy! I love the family atmosphere. Friendly and caring.
Looks so delicious and healthy!
Me and my gramma make this all the time but we use a strainer in the soup so we can cook what we want. I usually put salmon, mushrooms, different cabbage, bok choy, chicken, tofu, shrimp, and crab 😂😂😂
I love this family so much 🥺

I'm Mexican and I absolutely love Japanese culture especially their food, so when I'll become a mom I want to introduce my future kids to Japanese food and raised them with some of their beliefs alongside my belief from my culture.
It looks so light and healthy and wonderful!!
JAPANESE TECHNOLOGY OH MY GOSH THAT ROASTER
agreed!! I found that super cool as well :)
I was just drooling over that pretty appliance.
hahaha cool roaster
It's actually not a roaster. It's a broiler...
Also, what kind of technology is that when they have to use a camping stove. They don't even have a regular stove or oven. And that kitchen was a damn mess, handling equipment after touching raw fish without washing hands... What a mess. Ick
Last night the dinner where I'm from (Texas) was fried chicken, bacon fried cabbage, new potatoes with butter and garlic, and yeast rolls. 🍗🍗🍗
Ray price Why are trolls even on videos about children? Take your nonsense to political videos and leave the kids alone.
Galaxy Rhen why are you so upset?. is true Texas is full of Mexicans.. and nobody care about Texas..
Sounds good >.

It's so amazing that kids are helping elder and cooking and arranging their dinnigs... wao... so nice culture
They need to teach Americans this because everything is healthy I need a Japanese chef I could eat this all day, maybe not tofu but god it looks Delicious!
Nothing wrong with tofu. We've been eating it for generations and we're fine.
Who are the 15 soulless people who gave this thumbs down?
+haru yasumi the same people who complain about the lighting
+haru yasumi american ???
haru yasumi unhealthy lazy Americans, that’s who.
Japanese cuisine is tasty, healthy and remarkable. Notice how ingredients are cut and prepared so delicately--and there is balance of rice, vegetables, proteins. Just Delightful. 👪💓💓
Aiko English is better than mine and I'm older than her. she is so adorable and nice and smart
