      I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?

    • @BoyesMorlas
      @BoyesMorlas Місяць тому

      Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies

    I started my YT channel a few ago after watching your jaw surgery videos - I also had double jaw surgery and documented the whole process for the last 2+ years...now transitioning to making videos about my health journey with chronic fatigue (which is what led me to jaw surgery) and hoping that my (very small) group of subscribers will continue to follow along - even if they were originally there for jaw surgery content - because they've gotten to know me and are interested enough to keep watching. I found your jaw surgery videos super helpful and subscribed to both your channels after finding those - really appreciate all of your content and love your vlogs as well!

    I've watched a lot of videos about how to start your own UA-cam channel and even though I feel like I know what to do, it's way easier said than done in my experience when it comes to actually execute the many steps that are involved in producing a great video people are enjoying to watch.

    I think being successful on UA-cam 12 years ago was easier to get viewers. Now there's more competition. Quality is more important quantity. An editor can edit the raw footage differently and tell a totally different story.

      Not really. I have a very specific niche that is for a very small group of people. Yet the thing that is insane is my videos that are getting the most views at the moment were posted 2 years ago. At that time, they got only about 100 to 200 views and were mostly found through Google search. Most of my videos are either the first or among the first 3 on Google search for the SEO and generally search terms in my niche. However, UA-cam didn't show my videos to many people interested in the tutorial for a very long time. How is it possible that a 2 year-old video is getting almost 10k views a month now and not before? Something isn't right in the algorithm.

  • @DiamondFlame45
    @DiamondFlame45 Місяць тому +4

    I think adding background music in a video helps because it adds more stimulation during those quiet moments when you don’t have B Roll footage! Also, just adding yourself on a thumbnail or even in the video helps! I am surprised how there is more faceless content now especially with the advent of AI!

    Good to know. What you said to do, I have done and am doing. I’m finding that this takes a minute. Subscribers come slowly (at least for me) and the increase in viewership seems to happen slowly too. But, that’s ok. It’s giving me time to learn. This has been quite a journey and I’m sure it will continue to be. So…one thing that would have tightened the learning curve for me would have been a photography course. I couldn’t even work the camera properly. Hell I couldn’t even transfer my videos to the computer. So I just stuck with the iPad. Then I didn’t have enough memory on the iPad to move clips around and put videos together. So I bought the 1 tb iPad. So, yes. As I learn, I make improvements. I never know when a light bulb will come on. But … thank you Shelby. I consider you friend and mentor. It will be a while before I’m doing things with anywhere near the grace, style, and panache that you have. 😮. Shelby….👍🤩

    I made it my goal this year to be more consistent with my upload schedule even though having a full-time job takes up a huge amount of my time. This March I got monetized and really saw my hard work starting to pay off. However, in the last few months I've noticed that my channel has not grown. I have a very nice community of subscribers (which I'm incredibly grateful for), but I feel like the UA-cam algorithm doesn't push my videos out to the right audience (I see this under video analytics - content suggesting this video). I love making videos from filming to editing, it's become a real passion of mine, but it becomes really frustrating when your hard work isn't reaching a wider audience. Do you have any advice?
