I always wondered what it would be like to be at someones garage doing car stuff.. But NO one.. does car stuff.. now i know.. i enjoy it. Would the steering wheel angle sensor cause the car to go into limp mode? "Engine malfunction, reduced power"?
I have a 2008 lci 530d, only the horn does not work, could it be because of this, there is no problem with the fuse

I'm probably going to have to do this in the near future, but it doesn't fail very often, so it can be put off for a bit. Usually when it does, I will turn off the car and do the left to right reset, and it always clears up. Another great video that will definitely help me👍
Does it clear up on any e60 ? I have an M5

Hey Nathan thanks for doing the steering angle sensor I've been having a problem with mine it's been coming on and off it'll turn off on Startup I'll drive a few miles and it'll come back on do you happen to know if doesn't seem like I need another wheel alignment but will it light up the dash if it's off a little bit? And also do you know if the headlight level sensors would have anything to do with it the ones that are attached to the front control on and rear control arms my front was unplugged?
For sure its dirty if its doing that

I’ve just changed mine and it seems the 04 or early models of the e60 has three boats compared to the later models. I’ve got it down to change it in five minutes now haha
Recently seen 1 or 2 pictures online of these M5's catching fire under the bonnet,might be worth checking fuel lines. Just thought I'd mention it.
AZN wheel on IG is company that does the steering wheels. I was coated $550 for a flat bottom and sides of wheel suede w top and bottom leather. Not terrible. They have the steering wheels in stock so the turn around is fast just send in your wheel for a core
Nathan ? For ya. I have the same style steering wheel but it doesn’t have the paddles. I want the paddles what all do I need to do to add or even replace the steering wheel w paddles?
Does shifter need replaced to link up or function w the paddles.
Let me know basically what I have to do to get dang paddle wheel.
Original gas cap have a green seal, the blue one don’t work

My replacement from rein had a blue seal. Turned out to be an evap hose I needed to replace

Will a faulty angle sensor not only cause the paddle shifter, but also the main shifter not able to shift into D/S mode ? My shifter puts itself back into ( D ) drive when I switch it to " manual Shifting " . Always great videos! Thanks for sharing
It made mine not shift when you pulled the lever
@@NathansBMWWorkshop Thanks for the fast response. My 2008 550i with a steptronic shifter, is at my indys right now. They said they switched out the angle sensor, now they state everything is working. I was scratching my head, What would a steering sensor have to do with a shifter not wanting to go into DS / M ? Guess I will see in the morning! Love that color on the m5 !

Hi nathan have you ever done a horn issue on a airbag? Mines staying on not sure if its the airbag itself oe the module in the steering wheel airbag has been replaced e60 530d 2004

Did you use a genuine icom or clone?
Easy to glue that paddle with a strong quality super glue
I'm presuming that wheel with black markings is code that something reads.
Imma stick with E39.
