- It finally happened.
After countless videos making fun of my addiction to character creators it's finally time to put the show on the other foot and see how he likes them. The Sims is always my first choice on Date Night, but this time I'm making him play it all on his own and build the house I've only ever dreamed of. We've only joked about it a thousand times, but I finally Made My Boyfriend Play The Sims!

I pirated the DLCs because one grand is just too much to afford
@@mloxard Yeah, I sort of understand why some people do it. 5€ for every DLC would be some kind of okay, but when you pay 10-30€ for 20 new furniture/character Items then it's no wonder that people can't afford one grand.
@@mloxard it's piracy from EA so it basically doesn't count.
Also, there are mods. I will always support pirating from EA/Maxis/whatever crappy company that doesn't respect its customers, but mods are free either way, and generally easy to install and use.
Also, most of the DLCs aren't even new content, EA is removing features already in older games, so they can sell them back to you at full price.

My usual playthrough of the Sims involves several violations of the Geneva convention such as regularly drowning my enemies in a pool with no ladder after marrying into there household then after there convenient death taking everything and running
If modern rules applied to the Sims, I’d be a war criminal and banned from several countries.

Absolutely make this into another series to stand alongside made my girlfriend play! Too often male gamers miss out on a lot of great games because they think they are “for girls” when really there are just different genres of games that are also goood!
The notion that people do things like "see game genres as gendered" utterly baffles me.

My husband found it very ironic that I would religiously do the laundry in the Sims after spending real money to be able to do it, but wouldn't do my own for free.
Made my Boyfriend/Girlfriend Play Persona 5! Just finished the game and god damn it was good. Now I’m starting Persona 5 Royal after Zelda Tears of the Kingdom this week.
The amount of serotonin I got from the thumbnail alone is immeasurable.
I'm waiting for The Sims 8 so EA can release Sims 4 with all the pack for free and I can finally play the game. That's what I did with 2.

Sometimes I'm afking for skins in Don't Starve Together, and I watch this channel and get momentarily excited before I realise "Oh, it's just the Boy Meets Girl intro that uses the incoming skin sound effect".

Love this, as with almost everything you two put out. It's fun and feels wholesome and I really appreciate that. If I didn't, I wouldn't be watching something about the sims of all things and enjoying it.

Kidding, but it would genuinely be so exciting to see you two sit down again just to try out new packs from the Sims! Maybe you could group them up into 1 Expansion, 1 Gameplay, and 1 Stuff pack each time? I'd love to see how your sim-selves (and real-selves) reacted to going on a Jungle Adventure while dealing with the Seasons and Laundry Days at the same time, or coped with Tiny Living in an Eco Lifestyle while also becoming Dream Home Decorators? Or you could have you dream Wedding Stories while enjoying Island Living and encounter some Paranormal happenings! It'd be fun to see you two explore to say the least!

I recommend you guys play Soma or any other frictionalgames game such as Amensia The Dark Descent. But Soma is my favorite with the best story ever made

My wife has been trying to get me to play Sims games for the absolute longest, I am a competitive / mmo / rpg player and figured i would send this video to her. She has a small Sims channel and I am absolutely sure she love this idea.

My sister is way to obsessed with this game, and she plays in a way that the game basically plays itself, but when ever I play, I just spam the money cheats and make the most ridiculous sims I can. But let us near a 3rd person sandbox game, and we become basically the same person.

You guys are genuinely the only people I’ve seen try to make lifelike replications of themselves in the sims. Most people I know use it for shipping purposes or make horrifying amalgamations

Hi I really love your channel It gives a wholesome vibe that always makes my day when you upload a video. I just wanna give a small advice. In the video you say that your cat sometimes pushes the power button on your computer. My cat did that too all the time. There is a setting in windows that can deactivate the system shutdown from powerbutton. So you can still open the computer but the cat can not close the computer from power button. I hope this helps. Love the channel.

I like this format a lot better, I like having both of them involved in the narration. I do find the only boyfriend one a bit boring because I like getting the point of view of the player themselves, as well as the one watching over their shoulder

I played this game (or was it The Sims 3, yeah probably that) years a go, seeing it here made my heart jump a little. I also love the narration. Very entertaining edit.

Amazing as always! My long form game happens to be Stellaris, and I can just imagine how different you 2 would play that xD. If you ever need another game to sink a few evenings into, I can think of few that are better.
Thanks for the recommendation! Stellaris is a game we've had our eye on for a while now, and we're just waiting for the right time in case we get hooked :)
If you do get it you have to get it on sale otherwise its not unlike the sims in how it adds up with the additional content

Whenever i played sims (2&3) we never actually played it
We just made characters, typed motherload for the money and designed a massive house
Then we played around with the things we had created for a minute and stop playing

I swear Gardening is the most op talent in this game. You don't anything or anyone else.
Need to get your fun up? Make your sim like gardening
Need to get your social up? Make your sim talk to plants
Need to get your food up? You can eat your own produce (and get a good buff)
Need to get your money up? You can sell your produce
Need to get started with a garden? Just go steal some flowers from around town
Need to tend to your garden? Hire a gardener with the thousands you make per harvest

You should try the Sims 4 with mods.... Personal recommendations: "Basemental drugs", "Extreme Violence" "WickedWhims" and "Life tragedies"...... All fun stuff.....

My mom and I love the Sims we would just play it together a lot I'd watch her play quite a bit and and we'd come up with some wacky stuff.
I really like how Taryn plays the game like all the sims are real people and Nick plays the game like a minmaxer
After binging most of your videos, I've realized Taryn is literally me..... A gamer at heart, super competitive, a loot goblin, and spends ages in character customization.
with the exception of having a loving boyfriend :(
