No, it's the opposite. Greg was always a little selfish and egotistical but most of the time he is an unfortunate victim of circumstance. For example one of my favorite gags in Diary of a Wimpy Kid is when Greg is on the Swim team. He thinks that the starter pistol is a real gun so he hides at the bottom of the pool because he didn't want the bullet to hit him. Lincoln is always starting stuff and is always sneaky and manipulative. Remember the Green House, The Sweet Spot, Kings of the Con ( One of the worst episodes), Toads and Tiara's, and pretty much any Lincoln-centered episode.
@@icecreamhero2375 actually, Lincoln wasn't originally this way. In the early eps, he had a a bit of a manipulated side but He had mostly good intentions and when he messed up it was either situations beyond his control or he had actually motivations to do something, like in no such luck, he lied about being bad luck because he was stressed out after attending so many of his sisters' events, and I wonder if his family would even listen to him if he tried to explain how he felt instead of lied, plus Lynn Jr. Threatened him with a bat when he tried to tell her he wanted to stay home and rest. Also, feel free to disagree, but I won't change my mind, but the sisters have done worse things in the earlier eps.

Greg is a middle schooler, so him disobeying and being immorally guided makes sense, as long as consequences are received. The Loud House, in comparison, doesn’t carry the exact same “do bad actions, get bad karma and learn a lesson” moral, so it’s much more easier to have a level of distaste for how actions are treated.
I absolutely DESPISE when shows/movies give their child audience TERRIBLE life advice for shits and giggles. It’s not funny and it can actually be harmful. I refuse to believe that no one working on this took a step back and questioned the overall message OR Lincoln’s actions.
WHAT? You're saying that gatekeeping, gaslighting, and girlbossing my entire family is NOT a good idea? Bruh Moment. (Seriously though, I agree - it's so irresponsible yet frequently done, all for the sake of a crappy joke)
Are we gonna ignore the fact that everyone believed a hybrid animal was real? Perhaps stupidity is a common thing in the Loud House Cinematic Universe.
I guess they are . In Gravity Falls , it would make sense because there are weird things around. But this is The Loud House . I guess they would think someone in a dinosaur outfit is a real dinosaur ? Ha Ha 😅
Rt tho what happened I was like getting ready for college when it came out and thought “Hey that’s actually decent television on Nickelodeon for once.” How the hell did it crash so hard and so fast?
Meh, the animation helped a good bit, but I don't think the show going LA is as detrimental to its premise as it is for a show like FOP. The show mostly stayed down-to-earth with its tones and subjects, so we don't have to worry too much about overacting or mediocre effects. It's possible, but the show loses a good amount of style.
The "funniest" part about this movie was how Nickelodeon reeeeaaallly pushed Luna and Sam in their advertising and behind-the-scenes footage stuff......and then in the movie Sam had a few lines, made an angry face, disappeared, broke-up with Luna, and then got back together with her....all off-screen. Genuine queerbaiting lol Also, get that money, Cartoonshi. Looking forward to more videos...and the inevitable "The Loud House's TERRIBLE live action series."
Honestly, I really think at this point the only way to get some genuine lgbt representation is to stop with the incessant culture warrior bs. Because it's being demanded so heavily that hollywood is trying to the bare minimum with as many as they can possibly shove in. Oh well, maybe it'll calm down.
@@hunterolaughlin true but in the cartoon Lilly has been aged up. Of course they didn’t do much to show that but she is going to school and talking if you watch the most recent season
Every new Nick's show in a nutshell: -first 2 seasons are good -season 3 is medicore -past season 4 show's downfall starts -show gets movie nobody asked for and it fails -show gets milked for 5 years and it either gets cancelled or milked further Did I miss anything?
It’s so weird that Nickelodeon is pushing for live-action content of their cartoons recently. I’m half expecting them to reveal that “A Day with SpongeBob” is an actual real movie that they waited to release later this year.
Is it just me or does Nickelodeon cartoons translate poorly to live-action? First there was The Last Airbender, then it was Fairly Odd Parents, and now Loud House.
The Last Airbender could have been good if they had made a new story entirely rather than trying to adapt a large chunk of the official story (which was perfectly paced in its own medium). The others are just soulless, Hell-bound cashgrabs.
Well.. Henry Danger got a cartoon spin off but it didn't work. After the series ends they passed their baton to Danger Force but it didn't work either..
What’s even more noteworthy is that Scott humiliated Cartman and scammed him giving Cartman some justification into doing this, but here Lincoln could just have an honest discussion about this and everything will be solved.
Imagine ruining your entire family's reputation and causing thousands of dollars of damage only for the parents to say: "I UnDerSTaNd lIncOLn." Those parents are even higher than in THL movie.
It was like that one Steven universe ( I think it’s Steven universe future) episode where Steven almost kills his Dad in a car crash and his father saying “ I’m proud”
Disney: Here, Nickelodeon, we're lending you our leading writer. Nickelodeon: Shouldn't we get humans to write humans? Disney: We do not understand what you mean by that. A.I. Writer: All life is suffering.
Haven't watched this, I am sympathetic with the idea that a young boy loves his family so much that he wants to spend the holiday with them. Honestly with such an attitude I'm surprised the parents would not enforce their own authority to keep the family together. It really would have been better to make the parents the one to want to keep everyone together and then the kids could all band together so they could keep their own plans. Since they are kids they could learn a lesson about going too far, and it would make it so that Lincoln isn't the only character to be made into a bad person.
While I like your idea, it will probably be harder to convince Lori to join the family since she’s canonically 18 and (by American standards) can make her own decisions. Maybe the writers could have her be the last to realize that spending time with family is important. Regardless, your plot would give a chance for all the sisters to shine.
@@ntfoperative9432 I dunno, they seemingly had a good handle on the kids early in the series, being able to reel the kids in at times. It's really later that the show really demonstrates how irresponsible they are.
What was the writers' thought process by writing Lincoln to be a unthinking jerk? Lincoln has made selfish decisions in the past, but nothing of this magnitude. Not only that but they also wrote him here to be the most immature of the siblings. Being upset that your older sister will be spending her first Christmas away from the family is understandable, but no one that age would react like that. I'm more surprised how upset he was over it rather than the younger sisters. If feels like the writers just don't know what do to with Lincoln these days. One minute he's trying to help a sibling through their problems and the next he's borderline selfish. Like what? And the whole subplot with Luna and Sam felt unneeded. I feel like they could've done something better with the two then a "shocking" breakup which will lead to them getting back together off screen. So yeah, I don't like this special solely because the writers don't know how to use their characters for the sake of plot.
Lastly, I just believe this special takes place in an alternate universe separate from the show. Because the one in the cartoon learns from his mistakes (then again, unless the writers decide he hasn't).
Yeah, he was ooc. This special was entirely pointless. I love Lincoln of the cartoon, though I hardly watch the cartoon because I can't stand the poor writing of many eps.
@Christian Caster As the Loud House dropped massively in quality in its fifth season in particular, I'm not seeing any new episodes until the show gets some new writers who know how to write good episodes.
Short summary: Lincoln “the devil” loud has a hissy fit because his family didn’t want to go sledding, so he tries to kill them all by manipulating them to do what he wants
I never got the "it's a show for babys/kids" defense for cartoons Because what are cartoons, forms of art which deserve respect or low-brow form of entertainment which only exists to distract? People who are invested in cartoons seem to make both arguments for certain shows and it doesn't really make sense when they cross over for the same piece of media. We can't really have it both ways.
"It's okay when my fave does it" mentality. Personally I do think it's quite ridiculous to hold kid's cartoons to _all_ the same standards as adult shows, especially cartoons aimed at SMALL children. But kids aren't stupid and deserve to be treated with respect. They can also handle some scares. I think it's possible to find a middle ground between "lazy corporation thinks every child is lobotomized" and "Twitter users are outraged because they're not the target audience anymore."
You see the problem is most people have this mindset that a cartoon has to have top quality animation or writing which it's not a fair statement not every cartoon has to be outstanding animation there's nothing wrong with a cartoon being animated or writing in a certain way
I can hear the "OK boomer" towards you in the distance... Furiously wrote by a salty salty salty 13 yo' fanboy fukin' furious that you D A R E to say cartoons deserve an outstanding quality that breaks the intended public' age gap like spongebob did in its day
Whenever they say that, that a movie is made for kids, I always respond with "so is American tail, All dogs go to heaven, The Land before Time, and more, and those movies are masterpieces, what's your excuse?"
@@Enoaxia2003 I think that in the end no one really knew who Lincoln truly was. What we see of him is his psychotic behavior, his manipulation, and the acts of domestic terrorism on the scale of the unabomber, but his last word, rosebud, was a reminder oh his childhood, the last moment he was happy.
As a former fan of this show who quit supporting Nickelodeon, it is sad to see then milk whatever supersized hit they come across to within an inch of its life. And don't even get me started on what they're doing with FOP.
Honestly I doubt this is really milking. This show only had one spin-off (which got cancelled) and a live action special makes sense for LH if they kept it grounded.
@@CCaster2000 There was also an animated movie on netflix, the main show is about to premiere its seventh season, and they announced a live action series based on the christmas special
All I can say is...what the hell? How can they make Lincoln this much of a horrible person AND not discipline him in some way, shape or form? I can only suspend my disbelief so much.
Stuff like this is why Nickelodeon is doing so poorly that ever since it’s declining of viewership ratings since 2010’s they are just stuck to try to see what kind of stuff that audiences would be interesting of checking. They don’t really care of putting effort into focusing on other quality shows like glitch techs, Welcome to the Wayne or even mysticons to help the growth of their program. Just turning them down by rejected them and not actually utilizing better.
@@joaquinm9148 glitch Techs might be a little cringe but it’s way better than the really loud and the Patrick Star show like fr because it’s one if the best shows that Nickelodeon has in years.
I remember watching TLH when I was younger, and I distinctly remember Lincoln being at his best when he was the voice of reason for the sisters, such as in Driving Ms. Hazy, for example. It's just wrong seeing him as so unlikeable on the regular, including and ESPECIALLY in this movie, when he originally was able to be both the cause of his problems and the voice of reason for the rest of the cast when the show first started out. Maybe my memory's fuzzy, but that's how I remember those first two seasons in particular.
Lincoln was never the voice of reason. He is the one who is always starting stuff. He is maniupplative and sneaky. I guess the most level headed character would have to be Lori or the parents.
@@icecreamhero2375 Not always. Most of the time, yes, but there are episodes, particualrly in the 1st two seasons where he's the one in the right, is written as being the one in the right, and is calling out others for their mistakes (Again, such as Driving Ms. Hazy where Lincoln told Lori to her face that she put Leni in danger when she tried to screw up her chance of getting a license). That's something that seemingly doesn't happen anymore. Now he's always the one who has to learn lessons whenever an episode features him.
@@icecreamhero2375 Didn't didn't always start stuff. He might of unintentionally or escalated it in some way, but he hardly meant harm. There are also times when one of his sisters caused the problems. Also, Lori wasn't the "level-headed" sibling, especially in season one.
Idk, what Cartman did to Scott Tenorman was at least slightly justified given that Scott scammed and publicly humiliated him. Here Lincoln just didn't get to go out sledding
@@neptune7160 Scott was an absolute bastard and Cartman is very obviously not mentally stable. Lincoln is perfectly fine mentally and basically screwed over not just his family or town, but probably the USA and other tourists all because he got angry he couldn't use his sled.
Even I’ll admit, speaking as a fan of the show, while I did enjoy some parts of this film, it definitely didn’t need to exist. Though to be fair I can tolerate TLH movie more than other LA Nick adaptions because the actors and the film crew tried to stick to the spirit of the show and understood what they were doing and getting into.
this show has had the saddest fall from grace people were treating it as a sign that Nickelodeon was coming back when it was first released now it's never talked about except for the possibly clinically insane fanbase on deviantArt
@@eatatjoes6751 the difference is that FOP came out at a time when Nick was still thriving and had watchable stuff and didn't rely on Spongebob for everything, Loud House came at a time when Nick was just releasing rehash live action shows and the animated stuff was disliked by many(even though some say Sanjay and Craig improved in seasons 2 and 3), so people saw Loud House as a sign of improvement at Nick didn't age well
@benpodvia5744 Lincoln has the moral high ground over Cartman remember he was the kid who fed another kid is own parents in chili . And Lincoln was not a villain he was like Jack Skeleton someone that might have done bad things but his heart was in the right place and made amends
It always brings me such horrific joy in the pit of my soul when the man from the most aggressive area of a virus known as humanity in England, the land where drinking water makes you a crucified corpse for being weaker than the 5 year old drinking a pint of Guinness. Truly this man bring joy to those who can take a joke and with my favourite subject being a show about something so ruined and marketable that its sold out more times than a Lady or Man or the night.
honestly, kinda sad for the cartoon community since they hype it up like the thing that will change nick like smiling friends to adult animation, only for that show they hyped up to become just like the rest....
The Loud House got a live action movie, during the same year they had already gotten their first movie? I know there's milking a franchise for what it's worth, but fucks sake Nickelodeon, at least let one or two years pass before making another movie.
I feel like that's the reason why it took so damn long for season 5 to finish because last year weren't any new episodes in June, September and then with February, April, July, August, October, November they barely aired episodes those months and whenever new episodes info got leaked, they aired in another BEFORE the US 😒
When I heard that I was like ''No thank you that is not necessary '' . Besides it made sense with the Fairly Odd Parents because it was its tenth anniversary. But this on the other hand is a complete dumpster fire because it was unnecessary and terrible. Besides the franchise has only been around for five years.
Fun fact: In the early seasons of Loud House, Lincoln was actually this selfish often in a attempt to gain popularity or some form of success. So that's the only way the film ties back to the show. It brought back underdeveloped Lincoln.
While that is true for the most part, Lincoln also did things to benefit others as well but it always tended to get out of hand for different reasons. Lincoln wasn't the best at thinking things all the way through.
I heard new spongebob did get a little bit better i only watch the older season fron season 1 to s5 and few good modern spongebob episodes like have you seen this snail, the episode wheres theres dragon ( cant remember the name) and the spongebob birthday blowout and others that are good
I've started calling this shit "Netflix syndrome." Every media company nowadays loves to produce a bunch of random shows/movies, then they either cancel the good ones or milk them dry until the IP is a parody of itself. It's as if corporations have never heard of "quality over quantity."
Yeah as a “5%er who knows TLH lore” I was pretty stunned at how the writer (who doesn’t even work on the show) treated Luna and Sam especially since they’re the reason why I’m sticking to the show. When I saw the scene I knew they’d get back together at the end via exposition because they’ve done breakup fakeouts before, but still, what a cheap move for plot reasons. I don’t consider this canon, there’s already a Christmas episode pairing in Season 5 for the ‘timeskip’.
@@brandonpayne2877 Nah, Luna and Sam are developing as time goes on, and with the exception of this movie it’s still pretty great. If anything Clyde’s dads are getting more flanderized in the modern seasons imo.
9:45 I Know this wasn't intentional but I thought it was funny. After you explained how Lincoln was a Devil child, you show the News Broadcast. But I like how it says Live backwards as Evil!😂
It happened . An official Tweet of the IRL series ( which is named The Really Loud House) trailer from Nickelodeon. But was deleted because Nickelodeon knew they would get a negative response.
This movie was just unbelievably inaccurate to the source material. While a majority of the casting was fine, they messed up Bobby's character terribly. Bobby is meant to be a Mexican-American boy with tan skin, but they cast a Caucasian American from Texas for the role. What's worst is they had him try to pass off as Hispanic by having him falsify an accent and say some Spanish words which just makes it disrespectful. Part of the appeal was the diversity in the cast. Another letdown was Lincoln. While he isn't perfect by any means, he's usually the hero of the story who goes out of his way to help his sisters. But they took it too far by making him an outright villain. He nearly destroyed his sister's lives in order to get his way. He got Leni fired from her job, got Luan fired and almost completely destroyed her relationship with her grandfather, he inadvertently made Luna and Sam break up breaking both their hearts, he ignored Lori's wishes and tricked her into coming home in dangerous weather (nearly killing her), and ruined his entire family's plans for Miami, making them depressed. What's worst is when all this comes to light at the end, he's instantly forgiven like he didn't just ruin their lives. Overall, this movie was just completely unfaithful to the cast and characters and had a really weird plot. They could've delayed it another month to release it closer to Christmas like it should've been but instead released this train wreck out of season.
When I first heard about this movie, I was pretty interested. I mean Loud House is a show that could work well in live action (at least during the early seasons, the recent ones threw that out the window)...... Then I watched it and found that it to be beyond stupid.
I get the feeling that the people who write current era Loud House ANYTHING grew up pulling legs off grasshoppers and set fire to ants with a magnifying glass.
He has no rules no boundaries. He doesn't flinch at tortue human trafficking or genocide. he isn't loyal to a flag, country, or any set of ideals. He has no sympathy for those he hurts and he probably later grew up to be jigsaw, his name is live action Lincoln Loud.
This is not actually learning people anything, When I saw this movie, it doesn’t really amused me other than the fact I know what’s actually gonna be happening. This is just like in the first movie when Lincoln just wanted to find attention to himself and feel neglected by his family as he keeps being selfish and not actually learn anything by keep screwing his own ways. But as if Nickelodeon actually cares other than just cash grab as big corporation. They just will never learn to stop doing live actions.
This feels like they took one look at Greg Heffly and said “Hey, we can do that too!” And thus, Live Action and out of character Lincoln was born. Wonder if this movie’ll get 3 sequels and a CGI animated special as well 🤔
I could not stop laughing watching this video please do not stop making vids absolutely love this channel Hope you're feeling better and doing better mental wise
As a genuine fan of TLH...I can say, without a doubt! This "Live-Action" version is absolutely CAT SHIT!!! The ONE good thing I can say is that at least Luna looks like how Id' imagine her being in real life. Other than just that, this is just as bad, if not worse than the Eragon movie and Percy Jackson (Perry Johnson) movie.
so in this movie, the demon child (lincoln): • emotionally manipulates his older sister to leave her boyfriend, quite a tournament just so they can go sledding together • shoots a fake video of a giant shark attacking someone on the warm, sandy beaches of miami so he can go sledding • convinces another one of his older sister who has developmental issues that said giant shark murdered her friend so they can go sledding together • breaks up his other older sister’s relationship (aka one of the only lgbtq representations we have on nick), leaving her girlfriend heartbroken and convincing luna she’s dating her favourite celebrity so they can sled • humiliates yet another older sister, ruining her reputation and getting her fired so they can sled together • gets another sister fired?! • gets his baby sister’s tree thing cancelled (which would be very upsetting to like, a one year old) • leads a four year old to go out in the middle of the night by herself
God I hate live action adaptations they just don’t slap as the original animated shows. They just make the original shows really bad and that’s why nick should listen to the people and stop making these abominations. And cartoonshi we are on your side and we will grow your empire.
If anything, this just further proves that live action remakes of content that was originally animated ALMOST NEVER WORK! The Lion King 2019, Mulan 2020, Beauty & The Beast 2017, Yogi Bear 2011, The Cat in The Hat 2003, Peter Rabbit 2018, the list goes on! Yes, there ARE good ones, like the 90s TMNT movies and the 2010s Paddington movies, but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head! I still love The Loud House, I have seen EVERY episode so far (except Future Tense, which I chose to skip because it dealt with a subject I REALLY don't like) and while I have noticed the cracks are starting to show, partly because some episodes being rehashes of earlier ones (Flip This Flip is a bit too similar to Back in Black, for example), I can still have a good time watching most episodes old and new! This live action spinoff movie, however, is a waste of space. No doubt they're only doing a live action SERIES because Paramount+ are DESPERATE for content, which I've heard is why Fairly Odder happened! I just accept that seasonal rot is part of life and feel that The Loud House should end around the 7 or 8 season mark. If it ends at either season 7 or 8, it will have had a good long run. I still think the show is better in its current state than that "Do not age up the Louds" jerk Jake Stone claims it is! He thinks that the Louds aging up and Lori going to college ALONE is "killing" the show! He is STILL whining about Luan being in high school instead of middle school (how can he say that when in Diss The Cook, it was revealed that Luan HATED the food she was served in middle school? Oh wait, Stone is BOYCOTTING season 5+ over the age up!) and he doesn't even accept 2 year old Lily as the "real" Lily! He even scheduled TWO "Do not age up the Louds" PROTESTS outside Nickelodeon Animation Studio for November 2021 and January 2022 and guess what? NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR EITHER OF THEM! Just goes to show how unpopular his agenda is! He keeps claiming he can SAVE The Loud House by getting Nick to adopt his demands including sending Luan back to middle school, having Lucy reveal her eyes, introducing recurring villains and HAVING CRAIG MCCRACKEN DIRECT AND EPISODE! NO! Those would RUIN the show EVEN MORE and MANY of his ideas are BLATANT ratings traps! If anything, I'm pretty sure The Loud House's declining viewership and reused plots are signs the show may not be around for much longer. The axing of its sister show The Casagrandes I take as another sign of that being the case. If The Loud House really does end around the 7 or 8 season mark, I'd be PERFECTLY FINE with it, it would allow Nick to shift their focus to new original programming! They gave Middlemost Post a 2nd season, I think it deserves at least a 3rd! I also look forward to seeing what Nick do with their upcoming Transformers and Real Pigeons shows!
I remember liking the early episodes of the show, and got really sad about the Savino thing. Now I'm thinking "shit, the show should have left with him." These live action costumes are well done, though.
Chris being fired was the beginning of The Loud House downfall. Which is kinda sad because even though he did some naughty things (IFYKYK) he was the main piece keeping it together
Absolutely love your videos ty for all the effort you put in. Life is currently quite aids for me so having videos like this to cheer me up a bit really helps
Lincoln’s reaction to his family not being able to go sledkng reminds me an awfully lot of how in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever, Manny shuts off the electricity and air conditioning to every room except his in retaliation for not being taught how to tie his shoes.
When I saw the movie with my bff I told them "WHY IS HE SO MEAN HES SO MUCH BETTER IN THE SHOW" Her: "I KNOW HE BROKE THROUGH A MALL" we were both very mad about him 🧍♀️
There are so many things wrong with this live-action Christmas special. One of them being that this is the second Christmas special in season 5 we got and it came out just around the Time of the Season 5 Christmas episode. And the plot to this special is almost a rehash of the Thanksgiving episode blamed with other episodes.
@@tobsonasanya4765 Let's just say that this show wasn't meant to last for multiple seasons, even though it's been six. Or at least, the show could have had better-grounded writing. I mean, it's supposed to be a slice-of-life cartoon.

@@CCaster2000 I've heard on the whole thing with Chris Savino.
It's because the parents are often at the mercy of their own children, their parenting style is often too hands off
@@ntfoperative9432 I dunno, they seemingly had a good handle on the kids early in the series, being able to reel the kids in at times.

I never got the "it's a show for babys/kids" defense for cartoons
Because what are cartoons, forms of art which deserve respect or low-brow form of entertainment which only exists to distract? People who are invested in cartoons seem to make both arguments for certain shows and it doesn't really make sense when they cross over for the same piece of media. We can't really have it both ways.
The defense is made by people who think that children are r*tarted

"The Loud House's TERRIBLE Live Action Movie"
It's not like nobody don't see it coming.
Yeah they could have delayed it another month to make it much better

You know you've failed your Movie career if your main character is entirely unlikeable.
…Are we sure that Lincoln isn’t just a descendant of Light Yagami
"Imagine you work like actor is just stay here all the movie doing nothing." The actress of Lynn Jr was that example
So essentially a named extra with a few lines . Sums it up entirely.
Did Luan say anything either?
Lincoln being a literal sciopath, gaslighting adults and basically being a domestic threat honestly kind of makes me want to see this movie
This feels like they took one look at Greg Heffly and said “Hey, we can do that too!”
And thus, Live Action and out of character Lincoln was born. Wonder if this movie’ll get 3 sequels and a CGI animated special as well 🤔
No Greg Heffley was never as bad as Lincoln. Even animated Lincoln acts worse than Greg normally does.
Actually there is a live action series with this same cast in development for Paramount+
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 No that was just cancelled.
@@lukeloud9266 Proof?
@@buzzytrombone4353 It was in a deleted tweet. Season 7 was also shelved.
Honestly the loud house should just rest the first few seasons were fine but now just seeing this series get milked to the grave is depressing
I could not stop laughing watching this video please do not stop making vids absolutely love this channel
Hope you're feeling better and doing better mental wise
My man really used the phrase "abortion bin" to describe a Loud House movie.
As a genuine fan of TLH...I can say, without a doubt!
This "Live-Action" version is absolutely CAT SHIT!!!
The ONE good thing I can say is that at least Luna looks like how Id' imagine her being in real life. Other than just that, this is just as bad, if not worse than the Eragon movie and Percy Jackson
(Perry Johnson) movie.
Lincoln Loud makes Greg Heffley look like a saint, and that’s saying a lot
so in this movie, the demon child (lincoln):
• emotionally manipulates his older sister to leave her boyfriend, quite a tournament just so they can go sledding together
• shoots a fake video of a giant shark attacking someone on the warm, sandy beaches of miami so he can go sledding
• convinces another one of his older sister who has developmental issues that said giant shark murdered her friend so they can go sledding together
• breaks up his other older sister’s relationship (aka one of the only lgbtq representations we have on nick), leaving her girlfriend heartbroken and convincing luna she’s dating her favourite celebrity so they can sled
• humiliates yet another older sister, ruining her reputation and getting her fired so they can sled together
• gets another sister fired?!
• gets his baby sister’s tree thing cancelled (which would be very upsetting to like, a one year old)
• leads a four year old to go out in the middle of the night by herself
Loud house fans: our mutual hatred for him bonds us together
Im Talking bout stone here
Hey The Cat In The Hat 2003 is actually decent not to mention it does have genuinely funny moments.
You serious??
I feel so bad for all the Child actors that had to do this!
This film was pretty enjoyable for me, manly seeing how hilariously manipulative Lincoln was in this.
I prefer him in the cartoon even though I don't like the cartoon either for other reasons.
EXACTLY lol
Him ruining Luna and Sam's relationship was by far the best scene in the movie.
Remember the days when the loud house wasn't an absolute shit fest? Good times am I right?
Yes and yes. - someone who's currently a senior in high-school and was obsessed with the show when I was in 6th grade.
@@aquastartv1895 I was obsessed with the show as well, except I was in the 5th grade. I miss when The Loud House was good
@@robertfulton8306 same.
Nickelodeon needs to stop with the live action movies of cartoons
This live action Loud House movie is so bad, it almost makes the live action Fairly Oddparents movies look better in comparison.
I remember liking the early episodes of the show, and got really sad about the Savino thing. Now I'm thinking "shit, the show should have left with him."
These live action costumes are well done, though.
They nailed Luna's outfit.
The fact that the LIVE ACTION movie had a more cartoony vibe and more/louder SFX than the actual CARTOON is just sad.
Remember Nickelodeon All Star Brawl?
_Pretty sure he needs to use Lincoln Loud as his personal punching bag._
When I saw the movie with my bff I told them "WHY IS HE SO MEAN HES SO MUCH BETTER IN THE SHOW" Her: "I KNOW HE BROKE THROUGH A MALL" we were both very mad about him 🧍♀️
Honestly, cartoons need to stay cartoons. There's a reason why translating animated media into live action just never works 😒
Lincoln makes Greg Heffley look like the second coming of Jesus Christ
I fond it hilarious that Luan has no widows peak despite being the 1 character with an exaggerated hairline
6:49
"All your missing is a drop of incel."
And a manifesto! Can't be a domestic terrorist without giving away some sort of written motive.
There are so many things wrong with this live-action Christmas special.
One of them being that this is the second Christmas special in season 5 we got and it came out just around the Time of the Season 5 Christmas episode.
And the plot to this special is almost a rehash of the Thanksgiving episode blamed with other episodes.
I remember me and my Mom actually giving this special a try when it first aired. We didn't make it past the first commercial break
I can only hope this and the upcoming full live-action show doesn't create a Perfect Blue scenario
You know I remember when my friend first told me of the Loud House a few years back I thought it was a sitcom. And now it is, sad.
Loud House is harder to kill than a cockroach on steroids
why do you all act like the show has lasted too long like
Or Michael Myers
It has lasted too long
@@tobsonasanya4765 Let's just say that this show wasn't meant to last for multiple seasons, even though it's been six. Or at least, the show could have had better-grounded writing. I mean, it's supposed to be a slice-of-life cartoon.
@@ejm1225 i mean it is still a cartoon so not everything is realistic
How can people write good moral character like they are the spawn of Satan himself but write bad moral characters like they are the spawn of God himself.
What the fuck is happening.
The sisters are not innocent, that's for sure. They did terrible things in the cartoon.
I'm getting the feeling the writers just hate Lincoln and I'm sick of it. All the more reason I prefer to stick to the internet and fanart/fanfiction over TV networks.
@@llim7306 I actually saw one person online say a year or two ago that the writers purposely misused Lincoln because they wanted to egg on Savino who based his younger self on Lincoln (or something along that line).
I don't believe it myself, but I'd be surprised if it were true.
@@CCaster2000 I've heard on the whole thing with Chris Savino. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I personally WOULDN'T be surprised if the execs., or writers or both were projecting their anger of Chris onto Lincoln because some writers are known to do that sort of thing. Just look at some fanfics.
If they are trying to get people to hate Lincoln as much as they do because of Chris (Again, it's an IF), that might be working on some people, but it doesn't work on me. And that doesn't change the bad things the girls did. I'm sick of the hypocrisy of both the people who worked on the show and from the fandom.
Not only did they make a movie, but they made a show. There’s just no way
We are going back in time to the day A Loud House Christmas got announced and getting it off Paramount's / Nickelodeon's production schedule.
