@@hakai1014 Ah yes The Amazing World Of Gumball one of the only good modern cartoons pity that it may never get a proper finale. Considering how terrible western entertainment can be these days is it any wonder why people prefer Japanese entertainment since it is rare for a Japanese company to go woke.
This movie is awful. It didn't feel like Loud House. Loud House is supposed to be about everyday adventures and slapstick shenanigans. Why is a woman trying to mind control a dragon to kill them? It got too unrealistic. Unrealistic moments in Loud House should be occasional throwaway jokes like Lisa blowing up her room. They shouldn't impact the plot. In this movie, Lucy talks to a ghost. Typically they keep it ambiguous whether she can actually talk to ghosts. Here her ghosty ancestor helps them out and impacts the plot. Lincoln felt out of character to me. In the movie, he is jealous that his sisters get all the attention. In over 100 episodes he never once felt this way in the show. It feels forced. I Hope in the Bob's Burgers movie the Belchers don't find a time machine and go back in time to the old west.
Excatly. I don't get how Loud House fans don't see this and act like "This is the greatest film ever!" Don't me wrong if they like the film that's fine, but they seriously can't just like it ignore the problem.
@Freesmart Exactly. That movie still holds up and it still kept what the show is with the feels and love and effort. Loud House movie...not really. Nobody even care (except for mostly teens and adults on social media) the movie came out not even Nick themselves care.

@@sketchyjulia Unnamed relatives gave birth to the ancestors that would birth Lynn Sr. There are also Rita's genes too. They look like the current Loud Family because of cartoon logic. When they do flashbacks like this on the Simpsons the old relatives look like the current Simpsons Family.
I used to watch it until season 4 like everyone else, jumping ship after Really Loud Music, steeling for the massive quality plummet the show would have afterwards from struggling to hold up the network.
I like how the plot of this movie is just a painfully drawn out version of the Season 1 episode: “Making the Case”, like they literally pretty much have the same plot with different steps, but it’s ultimately just Lincoln being jealous or upset that his sisters are better than him, then he becomes a jackass, then he realizes that he’s special in his own way... Yeah.
To bad they couldn’t have stopped after they had Lincoln (And yes, Lincoln is their biological child since he does have Luna’s and Lynn’s freckles and his Pop-Pop’s white hair. I think in an episode it was mentioned Rita used to have freckles.)
Well it’s their fault for not using any birth control until they had their 11th child I presume. You would think they would know better and stop having more kids.

I thought the Loud House movie was eh. But honestly, it did feel like it would have benefitted from being a movie on a different series. Having legit magic, ghosts, and dragons in a series that while it had a lot of cartoony elements was (mostly) still mostly grounded was really pushing it and felt super out of place in a show like Loud House. The villain and the humor was also kinda cringe-inducing. Honestly, compared to more fantastical cartoons like Spongebob, I don’t think slice-of-life cartoons more grounded to reality like The Loud House are suited to being full-length movies without it either feeling like an overextended episode that outstays its welcome, adding so many out of place elements that make the film feel too different from the show it is based on, it’s the bare minimum, or all of the above.
It was always doomed to fall from grace I am afraid since it’s creator Chris Savino is a sociopathic sexual harasser and it’s fanbase is just TERRIBLE not to mention they pushed the gay agenda at least twice.
@@Mario87456 Sounds like the opposite of what happened to Gravity Falls, excluding the GF fanbase. A well behaved creator who retains the rights to the show, long after the series finale; the network does not have the power to milk the crap out of GF and creating unnecessary spin offs or movies.

I haven't watched the show since 2017 but the "lincoln is jealous of his sisters" thing seems more like the premise for an angsty fanfic written by a 12 year old than an actual plot point in an official movie
12:55 It’s good to know that I’m not the only one that had problems with the animation in this movie. It was so inconsistent that it kept distracting me from the story. What’s frustrating is that the animation would be fluid in one scene and then look choppy and off model in the next. Great review btw, the points you made were spot on and I can tell you put a lot of effort into your work
If they're so Scottish, why didn't the parents know? Based on the fact they're literally nobility, you'd think the parents would wear the Saltire a little more proudly.
True most people who are Scottish know it like my mother for example who is not the most Scottish person out there since she hasn’t lived in Scotland for years but she is very aware that she is Scottish though then again she grew up in Scotland when she was a kid.
There was a point where I was excited for the movie. Falling out of the show in late 2019 meant I was no longer excited. I even managed to accurately predict the ending. Also, part of the reason why the animation's worse than the show is because Top Draw Animation did the animation for the movie instead of Jam Filled. And it shows.
@Freesmart Season 2 of Penn Zero, some episodes of Glitch Techs, and quite a lot of Wildbrain/DHX Media's 2010s output Studio's come under fire recently because of rampant mismanagement though
Whenever i watched the Loud House in 2016, i was pretty much a fan about how it was potrayed at Season 1, now when i looked at it in present day, it was just garbage and a hellzone full of crap jokes that are so annoying.
I remember hearing about a potential Loud House Movie since 2017 (Literally a year after the show released) When I was a fan of the show, I was really excited about seeing this movie. Although I found out it will be a Netflic Film and at the time, I didn't have Netflix. Which I now do have Netflix as well as Disney+ and Paramount Plus. Ever since the modern episodes of the series ( particularly Season 5 Epiaodes that broke me) I am no longer excited about the film so I had no interest in watching it. I'm really not surprised the film turned out like this. Heck it's even worse than the reviews on SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run. I really have no plans into returning to this show anytime soon or it's terrible Fandom. And I am definitely NOT going to see that abominable live action Christmas Special coming out in December on Nickelodeon.
You already think the Christmas special is trash? Did you get early access? I see why you despise this movie,it's trash but at least give the Christmas special a chance. Actually,if you just don't like the live action turning of a cartoon, then never mind.
I emember the hype train with the Loud House and it feels sort of nostalgic nowadays, also you have a functioning social life while watching virtual woman? We got a winner over here
I missed this channel so much, this is how you do humour self aware, politically incorrect and funny. I use to be sensitive as fuck especially when it came down to the content I watched, this guy roasted all my favorite cartoon shows dude you have to talk about Ben 10.

I think Loud House fans' refusal to be critical of anything revolving around the show is going to be its ultimate downfall. You can tell the writers and staff are just getting lazier and lazier about the show because they know their fans will just eat anything up.
I think this movie is garbage but the later episodes are better. The plots feel less cliched and I like how the sisters sometimes get their own storylines.
It NEVER ends well when a fanbase can’t take ANY criticism directed at the show they love unless it’s a episode they hate such as the infamous “No Such Luck”
I swear to god, this fanbase cannot take any form of criticism and it’s getting tiring. Some of these people just aren’t reasonable and just refuse to be respectful towards people who have any form of criticism. Apparently criticism = whining. I hate many of the toxic fanboys who are unbelievabley hostile towards people, like me, who have issues with the film or the later seasons. This is just bullying at this point and it’s really sad.
Growing up, our kid shows weren't necessarily boring, more bizarre at times. On top of that, our parents would watch'em too because of the adult jokes we kids didn't get till we got older. This movie here was so corporate it hurts the soul, just no creative freedom here folks. Which is funny because Nickelodeon killed cartoon movies in the early 2000s now here they are today doing it again, only this time it's socially acceptable by people who're just so so sensitive and heaven forbid we get some risqué humor in animation....I miss my childhood.😞
believe me the movie being bad has nothing to do with random people being sensitive. it's just bad. You can also attribute it to the fact Nickelodeon is a soulless corporation that milks the 2 shows it has and gets rid of anything actually interesting because it's not the next SpongeBob immediately. Seriously, any show, no matter how much potential it has, they won't even give it a chance and send it to the cartoon graveyard of Nicktoons. it's kind of sad. So basically it's either premature death or if you're loud house or SpongeBob you get milked to death until you're a boring shell of what the show once was
@@icecreamhero2375 Okay, back when the CREATOR was still running the show but now I see their 'jokes' coming a mile away and that's bad when it's suppose to be a comedic show. I think it's fair to mention one scene in Scotland where they go to a musical number, and you can very audibly hear the compressor going to town on Lincoln's voice when he switches from regular scripted dialogue to song lyrics.
They deserve, But some people, even though they are teens or adults, also want to watch something for children, because they don't want to see, for example, a lot of blood, sex, bad depiction of religion, etc. without getting bored. Those of such people who watch, for example, the reboot of "DuckTales"; "The Bad Guys" or "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" are the lucky ones in my opinion (they got what they wanted).
A running gag I hate is the common joke about them not having names for any plans. Like it’s okay to do it once. But once you approach the 50th time you do it, it gets tiring hearing them say “AlSo FinD A BeTTEr NaME FoR ThIS PlaN”
I notice how to people writing the Loud House seem to have no idea how politics and government in certain countries work, First off Scotland has no Duke and it never has, they had a monarchy with a King which was abolished when Scotland and England unified to form Great Britain and then the United Kingdom has a figurehead monarchy and a parliamentary government that runs the country, Yes Scotland does have some devolved autonomy but still has to answer to the central government in London. Also another point in the episodd "Schooled" the writers seem to have no idea what Canada actually looks when Lincoln goes to Canada they portray Canada as always being covered in snow, like what? Canada does have warm weather contrary to popular belief, considering Lincoln starts school in September and considering that Canada isn't too far from the Michigan border it is safe to say their is no snow there yet.
That’s just sad that the writers have no idea how other countries work in fact I am 21 (now 25) years old and even I know more about other countries then they do such as for example I know they speak Portuguese in Brazil not Spanish. Not to mention I am kind of offended on how they fucked up Scotland here because I am of Scottish descent on my mother’s side and I rarely get offended.
Man. I remember when pirating this show was worth it. Like, from an entertainment standpoint. And did they learn NOTHING from how the Hey Arnold Movie bombed?
in the Hey Arnold movie's defense, it was originally made to be on TV but Nick wanted it in theaters. The Hey Arnold crew told them it was a bad idea but Nick wanted money (lol oops). The Loud House movie was originally made for theaters which is still shocking to me considering how mediocre, bare-bones and uninteresting the story is. It should've been a half hour tv special.
I watched this movie with my brother, I almost fell asleep, I was laughing at how bad it was, and was asking myself “why did I agree yo watch this”, not even my brother, who enjoys watching The Loud House, liked it
I agree. Although the loud house is my all time favorite show, and I love the characters to death, this movie dissapointed me, like how tf are you guys just gonna move to scotland, leave your pets behind, leave your friends behind, all because you didn't want to share a bathroom. Lincoln had NO problem leaving behind his friends? Lori had no problem leaving behind Bobby? Luna had no problem leaving behind Sam? Luan had no problem leaving behind Benny? The youngest louds SOMEHOW know how to skydive? This movie didn't even mention the pets whereabouts, Lincoln dangerously rode a fucking dragon! A DRAGON! with no problem. I was actually rooting for the villain the whole movie because the louds in this movie were pissing me off every time they were on screen. It's like they lost ever ounce of awareness in them and turned into complete nobodys. The writers of this movie clearly forgot the shit that was in the show! in the intro, when the louds are growing up, they completely disregarded the shows version of them growing up, for example, lori's baby form had a pear-shaped head in the show, but here, it's round. In the one of the best episodes in the show, luna is portrayed to have gotten her musical style later in her life around 12-14 years old. But here, she apparently has her musical style at a young age. I was hoping they would give throwbacks to previous episodes so it actually felt like the movie tied in with the show, but this movie feels like a fanfiction and I refuse to believe it's canon.
Keep in mind that is movie was originally suppose to be non canon but ever since savino was given the boot in 2017 the current people decided to make it canon after season 4 and before season 5. "It's like they lost every ounce of awareness in them and turned into complete nobodys. The writers of this movie clearly forgot the shit that was in the show!" That's really nothing new to loud house. Have you seen how the characters have always been handled in most episodes in the past to now? The characters always act or behave differently for the sake of the plot. Anything that makes them enjoyable is always out the window for the sake of having a plot which is what causes divides with in the fandom.
@@RedLemonCola the show's constant inconsistency is why I gave up on the official show and mostly follow fan made content. Because much like with RWBY, the fan content is 10x better than the official series.

Great video Cartoonshi and well worth the wait. Once again, as a fan of the series (although I will be leaving it soon once season 5 ends), it was great to hear your criticism once again after watching Just Stop's review on the movie too. I know people are not going to like my opinion on this, but I kinda like the movie. Yeah, it has alot of flaws, especially the one's you pointed out, but in the end I still liked it. I know some of the musical parts was a little cheesy/cringe at points, but I wasn't bother by it. I thought the villain was just meh. She could have been handle alot better. The movie is not for everyone and I can understand and respect you and everyone's opinion on it. Anyway, thank you so much for covering this movie and I'm sorry that you had to put up with it. Keep up the great work Cartoonshi! One more thing, as much I did enjoyed this film. There's no way I will be watching that god awful live action version. Have they not learned their lesson at all, after those poorly done Fairy Oddparents live action movies? They need to end this series and move on to something else..
In my opinion the main problem with the film is that it only lasted 80 minutes, if they had made the film last longer maybe it could have been better and we could have done something more with the sisters, director Dave Needham told me (I had written) who had considered the idea that Morag manipulated Lincoln by putting him against his family but could not do so due to lack of time. They even considered a WATER TRAP TO DROWN AN ENTIRE FAMILY! This and the dragon burning the ancestors alive could have made the movie BETTER! Or EVEN CHANGING THE DUKE BACKSTORY: he was manipulated by old Auggie to kill his own family, and his ghost haunts the castle in a self-pity state but in the end the ghosts of his family arrive and forgive him like a true family. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!
I remember saying “I’d rather listen to my dad’s music than the songs in this film” Well after listening to his music again, I’d definitely prefer listening to this film’s ost. That isn’t a compliment

Honestly, compared to more fantastical cartoons like Spongebob, I don’t think slice-of-life cartoons more grounded to reality like The Loud House are suited to being full-length movies without it either feeling like an overextended episode that outstays its welcome, adding so many out of place elements that make the film feel too different from the show it is based on, it’s the bare minimum, or all of the above.

believe me the movie being bad has nothing to do with random people being sensitive. it's just bad. Why do people who say "it's a movie for kids" think that means anything. Why do you think that kids don't deserve good movies?
They deserve, But some people, even though they are teens or adults, also want to watch something for children, because they don't want to see, for example, a lot of blood, sex, bad depiction of religion, etc. without getting bored. Those of such people who watch, for example, the reboot of "DuckTales"; "The Bad Guys" or "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" are the lucky ones in my opinion (they got what they wanted).

Controversial statements only on this channel
I always think making a conflict more bigger and nearly unavoidable would make the movie slightly decent, but that would be nitpicky
Keep in mind that is movie was originally suppose to be non canon but ever since savino was given the boot in 2017 the current people decided to make it canon after season 4 and before season 5.
"It's like they lost every ounce of awareness in them and turned into complete nobodys. The writers of this movie clearly forgot the shit that was in the show!"
That's really nothing new to loud house.

I like the thumbnail of this video since it looks like Lincoln is reading the reviews of his first movie and the look on his face appears to be the "oh lord I sincerely hope my 2nd movie isn't worse then the first one" expression!

Cartoonshi: LITTLE Wayne
Been looking forward to this,
And I was not disappointed 👌
The movie makes the 1 hour long Canada special with unfunny Canada jokes look like Jurassic Park!
are you talking about jim gaffigan?
Hi!! Didn't expect to find you here!!
Always glad to see an upload by you 👍

This is the first time I've ever heard Lincoln's voice in the english dub, I've been used to hear the Latin American dub, and...
*It can't be his real voice*
That's like his sixth VA now (yes, he had tons of VA during throughout the show because when they hit puberty their voices changed).
To me it’s kind of jarring hearing his voice I don’t know why though.
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 *Still, it can't be his real voice*
9:07 lol you got urself a subscriber
*Nothing good ever happens in CUCKING Paris*
That joke at 9:37 made me want to die.
I agree that is one of the most stupidest “jokes” ever made.
@@Mario87456 glad to see you here
@@theblackswordsman5039 Thank you I know I am bit late to the party but I could not resist coming here to share my hatred for The Loud House once again.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *imploding noises*
Thank god cartoonish put a still game joke that shit was funny
Regardless of your opinion on how the villain was written, you gotta admit that they were as hot as hell.

9:55 and here I realised that somehow david tennant was not only the 10th doctor but this guy and scrooge mcduck
"You are making me praise the god damn mouse." holy shit I woke up all my family when I laughed at that
In my opinion the main problem with the film is that it only lasted 80 minutes, if they had made the film last longer maybe it could have been better and we could have done something more with the sisters, director Dave Needham told me (I had written) who had considered the idea that Morag manipulated Lincoln by putting him against his family but could not do so due to lack of time.
9:15 I wish I could say youre wrong lmao
I remember saying “I’d rather listen to my dad’s music than the songs in this film”
Well after listening to his music again, I’d definitely prefer listening to this film’s ost. That isn’t a compliment
14:55 to say that thing on that girl's plate is the best "drawn" thing in this entire movie
