I've got an original G-Track, that I've had for almost 10 years now. It still works fine, really solid piece of kit, but I'm impressed with how good the many updates are on the newer Pro version. Mine's been used for vocals/acoustic guitar on albums, and for live streams over the years. I like the fact it seems to have a very neutral sound which allows for tweaking in post production. I bought myself a Quadcast S and I like the Samson more for my kind of voice. It's got more punch to it, and the mids are not as prominent as on the Quadcast which is a plus. Another great USB mic the sound of which I liked a lot is atr2500.
The Samson G Track Pro there’ are a problem if you use it in windows system. I bought a Samson G Track Pro micophone, the day before yesterday. My operating system is used on WINDOWS 10. I found that the microphone recording volume was abnormally low and the settings did not work. I was very disappointed. I borrowed a Macbook from my friend, and i can tell that, the Mac systems is working correctly and there is nothing unusual.
VERY impressed with how easy it is to record into a DAW. The sound coming back on UA-cam seemed excellent to my ears. 1. Have you recorded to a DAW using the more conventional separate audio interface and mic (either condenser or dynamic)? 2. If you have - which interface/mic combination did you use - and how did the Samson G-track Pro recording compare with this other set up? A lot of questions I know- but would be very grateful if you answered them. Thank you.
Hey there! Yes I do all my guitar recording with a Focusrite scarlet 2i2. It has two XLR inputs, and I’ve had no problems with it. Because I capture two mics at the same time, it’s my preference. I use the Samson for all my voiceover work, but not for recording music. Hope that helps

Hey man, I've had the original G Track for several years, but have mainly recorded my acoustic guitar with it. Recently I started recording my electric guitar via the direct input - however, I have a huge problem with buzzing (60 Hz / AC buzzing, not sure?) when recording. How did you get your electric guitar to sound so clean without any buzzing in the video? Are you using a DI box or anything or are you plugged directly into the mic? (And are you noisegate'ing / EQ'ing anything away in Logic after?) Your help is much appreciated!

Please help! Whenever I pluge earbuds or a headset into the headphone jack and turn the Monitor button on, I hear nothing at all when speaking into the mic. I have the Monitor volume maxed and still nothing. The mic itself works just fine. Why isn't the Monitor function working?
I'm having a huge problem and I have no idea how to solve it. I'm using the Performer Lite app that they give you for free with the purchase of the mic and I'm trying to connect my guitar and the mic is just not recognizing the guitar at all. I've tried a wireless transmitter and I thought that maybe it was broken so I bought a regular jack and it's still not recognizing it at all. And I cannot record at all the guitar because it is erasing the any noise but my voice. Anyone knows what am I doing wrong and how to fix it ? Cause i"m about to return this mic because it is totally useless at this point for me. I wanted something simple that would allow me to record 2 simple tracks of me singing and the guitar and it is just not happening... Thank you.
