+David Peck agree x1000 top truck looks boring after a while of watching it. which means 10 min for me... but this on the other hand I can watch it all in one sitting and more then once.... (sorry on gfs account just noticed)
You guys really make this look fun. I was actually really entertained watching everyone try the rocks..... Win and defeat, but everyone cheering and helping each other. That's pretty cool right there..... Great video!
You guys are crazy! I mean that in a nice way. Every year the trip always gets so much rain. Its like it's waiting for you to get in your vehicles and it lets go.
cant believe they went right through Glouster Ohio and didnt see all the rigs. nice shot of the old mail pouch add as you stand on the bridge over the Sunday creek.
If i ever make it over to America this is what i would like to do... i mean you can go look at monuments and such stuff... but i think this would be much more interesting, meeting real people and seeing the real America. Do 1 that includes the grand canyon, i wouldnt even mind being a co driver. Looks like a lotta fun.
this is way better than Top Truck Challenge. it's not just a winch fest through every obstacle. and it has decent trucks that aren't over the top that can actually complete obstacles under their own power.
Looking back at it now Harlan has so many other good trails to offer and you guys should have tried more. I can understand that you have a big group and it is very time consuming to get through trails but you guys seriously should have tried more.
I pity the man that has to drive Black Mountain in the dark for the first time. Those roads are sketchy as hell. We always joke that they're the reason no one makes it out of Harlan alive. Also, I live right near the Augusta ferry so that was pretty neat
+4gasem i dont know if it applies here but in some sports it is used to indicate that the trail is clear for the next person. When you are going up or down a hill its not a great idea for everyone to pile up on the trail with one guy stuck so they will use something like that to tell everyone at the bottom or top that it is clear to go.
+4gasem Good gawds. I would have been yelling at him to knock it the f'ck off. Every time I hear that, as a driver, I would think something is broken or breaking on my rig. Its bullsh!t.
Jeep for days! The rigs are incredible, they really use them to their full extent or at least try to ;-). I've always wondered what was road legal in terms of these extreme 4x4s?
+MrJewripper Everything on this trip must of been road legal because they seemed to be strict when they were checking out everyone's information in the first episode (driver's license and stuff)
+smith jones , some of them are top of the line builds ... Others are backyard "Budget " builds ....... Most of the Sponsor rigs are high dollar builds ......... The readers rigs are usually built over the course of a few years and are their toys ... My Dakota is a good example , it started off as a Daily Driver but has slowly been built into a full on Off road truck using mostly junkyard parts (except for the front coilovers ) .... ... When you are an avid off roader , you build the rig to suit the terrain you wheel in the most ... That is what I love about this trip , it takes builds from all over the country and puts them in situations they are not accustom to , just to see how well they perform ........
I wonder about the Suzuki or there is a Kia out there that people seem to be buget building. I think with some home ingenuity and self fabrication you could get something going for a reasonable price. My buddies in high school were into this stuff while I was into muscle cars. The older I have gotten and having a family this kind of slow and fun outing is more my speed. I still love my watercooled VW's and Audi's though. But we have two 4Runners now and we love them.
I used to always get notifications for the events from this park, it's just right passed Zanesville. I haven't heard from them in a while, not sure if they're still up and running.
Adam Nair maybe they don't want an axle design makes the rig tall or the shitty low gears in the portal box that limts you to being a slow shit box and a one trick pony that can only go slow . ???
Only the Nitto Tires and Fred made it up that obstacle. Whats that say about Falken as the sponsor? haha just causing trouble. Trail Grapplers for days
Might want to have a word with whomever is supposed to be bringing up driver and rig info on screen. Around the 16 minute mark they had "98 Jeep Wrangler" up when it was the 75 Cherokee.
Is there some kind of time trial thing going on with the trails? Here in Aus we would be taking them very slowly with care and getting most normal 4x4's through a lot of it.
+Jack Hayes With about 25 vehicles in the group you have to keep moving or you never get anywhere. With all the rain, crawling stuff wasn't much of an option....
What is the law in the US of having open wheels? In the UK you would get pulled over by the police and it would be taken off the road until you fixed it, also it would never pass an MOT.
Matthew Wilson Ah it will pass an MOT but If your wheels and tyres protrude past the bodywork then your car is not roadworthy and can be stopped by Police.
for useless people who have nothing better to do than fuck around. they think they are creating atmosphere among the group by creating noise but in the video it's just stupid.
I swear these Ultimate Adventure episodes are the best Off-Road videos I have ever seen
Better than Top Truck Challenge if you ask me.
+David Peck agree x1000 top truck looks boring after a while of watching it. which means 10 min for me... but this on the other hand I can watch it all in one sitting and more then once.... (sorry on gfs account just noticed)

Fred is awesome, the white Suzuki sounds awesome, and the old red truck is awesome. Everything is awesome.
OzcarMtl awesome
OzcarMtl you're also awesome
Everything IS awesome! Especially when you're part of a team.
You guys really make this look fun. I was actually really entertained watching everyone try the rocks..... Win and defeat, but everyone cheering and helping each other. That's pretty cool right there..... Great video!
that landy is probably the most comfortable ride there and its on stock rims, absolutely awesome vehicle.
More like the least capable.
exactly
impressed with the Offroad Design 85 Chevy. That truck does everything well.
Exactly what I was thinking. 👍👍✌✌
Thanks so much for sharing this awesome series!
I like the video.. that looks like fun the best part is you guys are working together like a family ..
Best off-road video yet!
All the money and time put into that flat fender was VERY worth it, outstanding vehicle!
Fred did some awesome wheeling at 15:00.
+K.H. And that suzuki samurai. Man that thing is awesome.
+K.H. Fred showed the gang hows its done there like!!!!!!
+K.H. ya i watch dirty every day i knew hed do good lol doesnt he resemble fred flinstone?
but the sound of his engine at 15:19 tho
LS7 chevy baby
5 years on and Pewe screaming "DRIVERS MEETING!!" still rattles my brain haha
There's a great variety of trucks this year! It almost makes up for the Chevy fest that was Top Truck Challenge.
You guys are crazy! I mean that in a nice way. Every year the trip always gets so much rain. Its like it's waiting for you to get in your vehicles and it lets go.
That RHD Jeep is SICK!! Been want one for years just to see the look on people faces when my dog is riding shotgun.
freds flaty is killer !!! i love the 46 chevy great lookin rig and the sammy is always awesome !!! keep em commin
It seems like the ones last year were longer. It just goes by so quick lol.
cant believe they went right through Glouster Ohio and didnt see all the rigs. nice shot of the old mail pouch add as you stand on the bridge over the Sunday creek.

jim brown fbfjhd
jim brown hope you make it here someday!
they should do a winter ultimate adventure
Yea
Y'all should check out the trails around Vinton County, Ohio. They're pretty brutal and tight
this is way better than Top Truck Challenge. it's not just a winch fest through every obstacle. and it has decent trucks that aren't over the top that can actually complete obstacles under their own power.
Lol, Fred Williams..."that's three"
priceless
What this video needs is " more cowbell !" Fred's motor sounds like a beast too !!
Right!?
LS POWRRR YEE HAW
My man Fred always killing it.
That old burgundy Dodge is the sweetest four by there!
That Range Rover was the real hero.
Getting through it all, and doing it with style on road wheels.
Looking back at it now Harlan has so many other good trails to offer and you guys should have tried more. I can understand that you have a big group and it is very time consuming to get through trails but you guys seriously should have tried more.
Love this format. All wheelin, less music!! Oh, and Hardy!!
Rick and Fred are the Ultimate Adventure BAD ASSES.
I pity the man that has to drive Black Mountain in the dark for the first time. Those roads are sketchy as hell. We always joke that they're the reason no one makes it out of Harlan alive. Also, I live right near the Augusta ferry so that was pretty neat
15:05 look at the determination on Fred's face I'm pretty sure he knew he was gonna get it
More cow bell. That Sammy is a hoot every year. I don't think I could pedal it fast enough for the freeway speeds much less get around a tornado.
If you look to the trail right of the lower rock garden, its a extremely steep drop off, and that's where I was in my first Jeep when it flipped
Fred Williams and Stephen Watson are 'wheeling gods as well as scholars and gentlemen.
3:23 ha! Love it, and love that Cherokee Chief!
Is there a reason for the cow bell, or was that person just trying (and succeeding) to be the most annoying?
+4gasem he's really good at a annoying :P
I've heard them at downhill mounting biking and rally events. must just be a toy for people to play with
+4gasem i dont know if it applies here but in some sports it is used to indicate that the trail is clear for the next person. +Snakebiteloo he's making noise too early for it to be to signal clear, plus they have cb's. He's just being a dick.
Jeep for days!
The rigs are incredible, they really use them to their full extent or at least try to ;-).

+MrJewripper Everything on this trip must of been road legal because they seemed to be strict when they were checking out everyone's information in the first episode (driver's license and stuff)
All hail the new and improved Range Rollover
Awesome video guys.. thanks..
I guess I should probably be working at work now..
These things always look incredibly fun and impractically expensive.
+smith jones , some of them are top of the line builds ... Others are backyard "Budget " builds ....... Most of the Sponsor rigs are high dollar builds ......... Man I can't wait until my truck is built enough to tackle some of these trails.
Awsome Trucks! great video. love the Colorado but why cant we see videos of it doing the fun part? did he went around the obstacles?
Gotta love the lower and upper rock garden
That 46 Chevy is a beauty
WOW
INCREDIBLE
AWESOME
FANTASTIC
oh God !!!!! I'm speechless about it !!!!!
decided to make a similar vehicle any day now
that year Rick was like the dad who takes you somewhere fun and then lays down a ton of rules and keeps you from enjoying yourself.
I used to always get notifications for the events from this park, it's just right passed Zanesville. I haven't heard from them in a while, not sure if they're still up and running.
That FJ60 breaking ground no problem over some of those other rigs.
The CUCV model years are 84-87, there is no 82 CUCV. Looking at his web page, it is a 1985 Chevy CUCV.
Been all over black mountain in Harlan Ky on an atv. We go about every year.
Im glad falken sponsored this year, so we can watch everyone struggle on the new "mud tire" they make.
beginning to think Land Rovers are top heavy lol
They are lol.
lol!
then it should be called Range Rollover lol!!😂
...and Suzukis?...
Another good one! Loving this video series MT!
Could you show more of the field repairs? Maybe a separate video?
+LuisPompa56, More of that type of stuff usually show up in the DVD version. It is usually a little longer in general.
is the military truck the same truck that fred droved maybe 2 years ago? I like the sound of that diesel. fred`s jeep is bad ass.
I want to see more on that red Power Wagonish ride with "Bills Offroad" on it.
That 40s Chevy is awesome
OOOOOH MYYYY GOOSH!!! I WANT T RIDE THOSE TRAILS WITH HONDA CR250 2STROKE
that old red ford is supper cool
It's a Chevy, but yeah. It's got to be one of the coolest trucks there.
You guys have got to keep that old Sammy around, how many has she made now 3 or 4?
+TheDuckumz Tim's red Samurai as probably been on 10+ UA trips now if not more.
Dude with cowbell+ lake= happy
Awesome videos! But I have a question, whats with the weird bells you are shaking? :D
That Range Rover P38 is the best haha
This series should be called, "Driver's Meeting Ultimate Adventure."
I love that Augusta ferry.
The dude with the cowbell should be hogtied.
+frdradio I think it adds to the atmosphere.
Kit Emett maybe but it definitely doesn't add anything to the video :)
Death to cowbell
You might need help to hogtie him. Big dude.
I have a fever and the only cure is... More Cowbell!
woot woot. My state! I'm up north by Cleveland tho.
How come the folks don't use portal axles? I thought they gave you better ground clearance
Adam Nair i figured they want to keep things simple because easy repairs are important
Adam Nair maybe they don't want an axle design makes the rig tall or the shitty low gears in the portal box that limts you to being a slow shit box and a one trick pony that can only go slow . ???
Awesome Stuff Guys, love it!
Only the Nitto Tires and Fred made it up that obstacle. Whats that say about Falken as the sponsor? haha just causing trouble. Trail Grapplers for days
+Zach Bartz Only two rigs made it up period that out of the entire group. That says it was hard....
Still building my truck to that level of off-road capability but running out of money it's gets harder and harder to keep up
Dude Rick needs to chill with the "DRIVERS MEETING!!!!"
84moneypit S
84moneypit that man was annoying
84moneypit. you've never herded car owners have you.... rookie
They should have a Jeep XJ Cherokee sport!
that red Rig is just beautifull
Now that looks like fun!
Might want to have a word with whomever is supposed to be bringing up driver and rig info on screen.
Around the 16 minute mark they had "98 Jeep Wrangler" up when it was the 75 Cherokee.
that is the best part we go every year
Get Tim Cameron in there with a proper baddass bouncer, show y'all how its done...?
That Colorado Is nice!
yeah i love hearing a cow bell when im trying to listen for broken parts ......
would have loved to have seen the mad maxxis on this trip
Is there some kind of time trial thing going on with the trails? Here in Aus we would be taking them very slowly with care and getting most normal 4x4's through a lot of it.
+Jack Hayes With about 25 vehicles in the group you have to keep moving or you never get anywhere. With all the rain, crawling stuff wasn't much of an option....
Fair call.
Here's a wild idea: why do rock crawlers use aggressive thread on their tires? Wouldn't street tires grip better on solid rock?
I love offroad adventure..but where are all the toyotas!?
+Mazzman There where two FJ40 based vehicles on this trip. One reader, and one that Chris Durham built.
+Mazzman There where two FJ40 based vehicles on this trip. One reader, and one that Chris Durham built.
+Metcalf yea I noticed them. Love those rigs, I still love 1st Gen Tacomas / t100s and such. I bet they would thrive in these tight technical stuff
I like how it said hi lift on the Land Rover but it had like a 2 inch lift
To the gentleman changing his jets. Maybe it would be easier having different carburetors for these events or switch to fuel injection.
Harlan County... Home of U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens..
that moon is insane
Ha, old ralph is still alive. It's been ages since i went wheeling with him.
I know the bells are annoying but it’s for letting others know this section of course is clear
Damn, wish I knew the were rolling through KY: run BM, hazard, the gorge. eastern kaintuck ftw
The range rover's tires are not big enough, and a range rover?? It should have been a defender
ORD ! THE OUTSTANDING!
What is the law in the US of having open wheels? In the UK you would get pulled over by the police and it would be taken off the road until you fixed it, also it would never pass an MOT.
wheels sticking out are not a mot fail in the UK , its not even a tested item, now "construction of use" would have a problem it,
I am a MOT tester
Matthew Wilson
Ah it will pass an MOT but If your wheels and tyres protrude past the bodywork then your car is not roadworthy and can be stopped by Police.
+TheDutyPaid
Yep
+Weekend Warriors that's stupid. why wouldn't they want you to be safe
+daybreaK
it will be because it's not type approved then
If I ever build a rock crawler I am going to base if off that jeep at 19:27 that thing is awesome.
+gt9797
What's shaking the bell/rattle thing for?
for useless people who have nothing better to do than fuck around. they think they are creating atmosphere among the group by creating noise but in the video it's just stupid.
will there be a DVD for the UA2015?
would like to know where the colorado got its bumpers
This episode reminded me of Justified
Some gnarly lines!
What tires size has the Range Rover P38 on ?
