this years narration was way better than last, so good job on that. thanks for bringing pewe back. and always awesome to see dirt head dave and fred in shows.
Now THAT'S America. Thanks you so much guys for one week when I didn't think so much about donald duck, but a lot more about your (and somehow mine) united state. (plus a big shout out for your homeland for being so wonderful)
I so love that CJ-6 build. I want to do mine like that but with auto trans. That thing has enough sticks on the floor to include an extra one for the trans lol.
It would be great if there were 2-3 minute videos detailing each vehicle build and their drivers, instead of continuously mentioning the parts installed as they clear obstacles.
Why wait till the hottest time of the year to go on the UA? You guys should try a fall UA trip I bet everyone would be much happier. Everyone took the heat without complaining though good job and great video work.
you missed a great opportunity in Warner Valley, just to the south of Sand Hollow. There's a pass Honeymoon Pass) that comes from the southeast and up to the top of a mesa. it's a gnarly climb, 4x4 only route. it's public land
kind of was hoping for more mud and less rocks, this year definitely wasnt as hard as others and also missing pewe alot! all in all great show this year guys just wish it was a little longer
Tanner Rizzle for a hummer h3 to do most of the course it couldn’t have been that bad lol mostly rock crawling and not a lot of winching just over some rocks, most years lots more people break down and get stuck
I really like these episodes from the narration to the interviews with the drivers, it entertaining to watch. One serious question. When your out in the middle of nowhere 30,50,80 miles off the beatin path and have catastrophic problem that makes the vehicle immobile on its own power (transmission goes out, transfer case shells, broken diff., or other major component failure) how do you go about getting it down and out of the mountains and canyons to a place where a tow truck can pick it up or tow it to a shop or put on a trailer. Also are these rigs trailered in to go wheeling or are they driven to the place?
No trailers allowed once UA starts. All the rigs are driven everywhere for the week. On UA 2017 the group covered over 900mi. Over 700 of those miles were on dirt. I don't own a car trailer, so on top of that I drove the truck from LA to Phoenix for the start. And then from Hurricane, UT to LA at the end. Total was about 1800mi over 9 days.
John D, Tow strap and a little help from your friends. Pull the broken pieces off if needed. Sometimes a piece of chain or a ratchet strap is used to bind broken axles, springs etc. If the trail is too tough to tow, winch it through those spots. It's all about team work and a can do attitude.
Beinging that I live in North Carolina I miss Ali Mansour being apart of the UA and the mag. I know he does some article but not enough. So what happened to him?
These guys are always talking about how one terrain favors a long wheel base and some terrain favors a short, Fred's tube sock was so short wanted to flip on that one hill, I think the rock crawler guy's have every other mod, who's gonna build a rock crawler that can convert on the fly from short to long wheel base with a telescoping frame, you'll have a rig that suits all terrain.
This should be called Ultimate Adventure Talk Show... Every time which is pretty much every minute they cut away to show some guy talking, why? More Action Footage!!
5 videos in a total about 100 minutes. 100 minutes seems long but you know it’s good when it seems like it’s short & ends like that. Do some rock climbing with those sportsmobile vans. They’re capable just like that Dodge Ram truck.
"Well I bent my steering hitting it on a rock, so..... "I'm trying to get the tie-rod on and squared away, and hydraulic assist going, because the 42" tires are really hard on the steering rod..." Install smaller tires.
Ya the narrator sounds a bit fake a script reading robot.. This video the narrator speaks a distance from the Mic and to much echo. Just the action & participants talking is enough with a bit of music in the background. Great editing and camera work MT
Right after I posted that they finally talked to him, seemed like he was getting cut out of each sequence. I assumed they were saving his footage or something.
Another great UA, but I'm hoping you come back to the midwest and east coast soon. High traction sandstone / slickrock is boooooooooooooooring. Do some serious wet and muddy rock climbing.
this years narration was way better than last, so good job on that. thanks for bringing pewe back. and always awesome to see dirt head dave and fred in shows.
I'm actually enjoying the calmer narration to these videos.
Same.
Sounds fake script reading robot.. bit to much echo this time around
I'm fucking hating it. Just because he sounds like a D grade actor
Any of you know who's the double front ended Jeep is or where's a video build on it?
yes it was a dirt every day episode, fred williams built it
I think it was really awesome to see fred and dave just put doin their thing and not having to host a show or keep someone entertained
thanx for taking me on the ultimate adventure 2017. very cool beans.
fred and his fuel economy xD
We might find Fred working for someone else soon?
Any of you know who's the double front ended Jeep is or where's a video build on it?
Fred
It's Rick Pewe's It was a UA vehicle build a few years back.
Awesome UA, awesome rigs, awesome drivers, all in my backyard this year too... awesome.
This years ultimate adventure looked amazing. I really enjoyed this series. Thanks!
Fantastic video, thank you for it and to all that took part, plus the behind the camera guys, cheers!
Y'all should do one up north in the snow season to change it up think that would be cool like if u agree
Now THAT'S America. Thanks you so much guys for one week when I didn't think so much about donald duck, but a lot more about your (and somehow mine) united state. (plus a big shout out for your homeland for being so wonderful)
I’m not a wheeler fan per say, but I enjoyed every episode and could find myself quickly becoming a wheeler myself!! Great stuff!
Wondering when I would see this come out. I seen the group as they were heading out to sand hallow. I live near by and love wheeling in the dunes!
Im watching these to bed, thanks man! Just need em to be longer!
More please! Fantastic series. Nice mix of everything
Always look forward to watching this
Great video ! We loved how you started with broken parts ! This is a 1st. Time to cook.
Great job this year! Really enjoyed all the video's!
I cannot get over how awesome that Offroad Designs K30 is.
AU style
I'm a simple man - I see an off road vehicle jumping a dune, I press play.
Mat Black 4X4 meets Dukes Of Hazzard= Awesomeness.
Loved every minute of it
Still has a feel to this like it was made in the 90's
You mericans are so lucky to have places like that where you can freely roam.
good show, loved all 5 parts!
I so love that CJ-6 build. I want to do mine like that but with auto trans. That thing has enough sticks on the floor to include an extra one for the trans lol.
That as a blast! Best day at work this week.
I love this event, see you next year!
It would be great if there were 2-3 minute videos detailing each vehicle build and their drivers, instead of continuously mentioning the parts installed as they clear obstacles.
Awesome U A this year guys !!!
I still can't believe that they were able to climb that WALL with that facility. I 'd shit myself lol
basically grew up at sand hollow, good stuff
Why wait till the hottest time of the year to go on the UA? You guys should try a fall UA trip I bet everyone would be much happier. Everyone took the heat without complaining though good job and great video work.
They probably have dates already set for it and can't predict what the weather will be.
Why do you think it's called Ultimate Adventure. No snowflakes.
John D ooooo I see now
It was a good question. I bet they all asked themselves that when it was 120 degrees.
you missed a great opportunity in Warner Valley, just to the south of Sand Hollow. There's a pass Honeymoon Pass) that comes from the southeast and up to the top of a mesa. it's a gnarly climb, 4x4 only route. it's public land
Nice, I would like to see the next UA at a more damp area, somewhere with mud and stuff
Naufal Kusumah it was nice to see something different from the other UAs.
we have a big country. most of us don't fight off mosquitoes with shotguns.
Love that Hummer H3!
This is where I grew up
kind of was hoping for more mud and less rocks, this year definitely wasnt as hard as others and also missing pewe alot! all in all great show this year guys just wish it was a little longer
XxDeltaProneXx "wasn't as hard" yeah right
Tanner Rizzle for a hummer h3 to do most of the course it couldn’t have been that bad lol mostly rock crawling and not a lot of winching just over some rocks, most years lots more people break down and get stuck
these guys all have a huge hardon for rocks, not much mud stuff on any show i've seen on this channel, sadly
XxDeltaProneXx That h3 was heavily modified, there was about 33% Hummer left
Russell Smith Mud is for pigs
Total Awesomeness, Damn cool.
Ace boys, thanks.
awesome series! I wish it was more than just once a year! any other good channels to check out with similar trailing content? let me know everyone!
Looks like a fun adventure.
Don't ask me why but Hurricane, UT is actually pronounced Hurrikin.
He's right ^ I live here
Haha I always have to explain that to people
That's because everyone that lives out there doesn't know how to properly pronounce the word hurricane.
It’s the hicks in hurrikin.
YOU GUYS ARE INSANE
I hope they do a Dirt Everyday episode of the Amigo build! :-D
Y'all should do a ultimate adventure like this in Michigan
that blazer really did well
Grt, love the vcls
I wish I could live there. Nebraska sucks for wheeling as there are absolutely no public wheeling areas here.
I really like these episodes from the narration to the interviews with the drivers, it entertaining to watch.

Wayne you didn't answer his question. I was interested in the answer to his question myself.
Any of you know who's the double front ended Jeep is or where's a video build on it?
John D, Tow strap and a little help from your friends. Pull the broken pieces off if needed. Sometimes a piece of chain or a ratchet strap is used to bind broken axles, springs etc. If the trail is too tough to tow, winch it through those spots.
It's all about team work and a can do attitude.
If it will drive, drive it. If it will roll, pull it. If it won't roll, fix it.
Utah is the best
I clicked cause the thumbnail 😁
what happened to the XJ ?
Awesomeness!!!
that white jeep tube sock??
Yep
Thanks for the ecological insight Verne😂
This year it just isn’t the same like it’s not as extreme as it used to be
The Liftedhick the rigs climbing obstacles in almost near vertical positions might disagree with you
Beinging that I live in North Carolina I miss Ali Mansour being apart of the UA and the mag. I know he does some article but not enough. So what happened to him?
Can you use 54 inch tires??
Love to join you guys one day!!
more footage like this!
Does any carrier have cell service out there ?
Finally they showed Shrink-Ray. A little late guy's!
Time to climb the 90 degree hill......................................
I wanna go!
I want to be a part of this so bad!😬. What’s a guy gottta do? My rig and I reside in Texas.
ya'll going to get me in trouble with this porn music
YAY, TUBESOCK!
I want to go to one of the ua's so bad
Yea longer shows more outtakes ECT
I´ve never done any 4 wheeling, and probably never will. But i get it..
I would do the tan K30 on a 79 F-150
the ua cj is my favorite
Sorry but Rick or Fred need to do the voice over next year.
I never knew Dave Chappell off road!! 😂😂
This should be called Ultimate Adventure Talk Show... Every time which is pretty much every minute they cut away to show some guy talking, why? More Action Footage!!
Send it!
im no stickler, but with that said- that jeep should know they need to take those flags off so they don't touch the ground.
5 videos in a total about 100 minutes. 100 minutes seems long but you know it’s good when it seems like it’s short & ends like that. Do some rock climbing with those sportsmobile vans. They’re capable just like that Dodge Ram truck.
Surprised that h3 lasted that long tbh lol
Where can I get a grille and hood like that gladiator jk
Chris Durham Motorsports
From a gladiator pickup.
yess
I subscribed
man that big Dodge truck is a turd. It's been super broken the whole time.
"Well I bent my steering hitting it on a rock, so.....
"I'm trying to get the tie-rod on and squared away, and hydraulic assist going, because the 42" tires are really hard on the steering rod..."
Install smaller tires.
Colin Stuart maybe cause he’s wheeled the shit out of it in the beginning and it’s fucking massive...
Where’s rick and fred
Bem q poderia ter uma legenda em português né...

Thought sand hollow Idaho lol I say thinking no way your going to drive from Utah to Idaho off road.
Pretty much vertical " wow thats steep"
For the love of America, bring back Fred.
I was surprised to not see him either, wonder if they're saving his stuff for a Dirt Everyday?
Kenneth Monson he's there, but they've not got him hosting.
There's another vid with Fred in it alot more
Damnit everytime the trucks start getting on the gas, someone keeps talking. Shut up until the shes done eatin!
Another great UA, but I'm hoping you come back to the midwest and east coast soon. High traction sandstone / slickrock is boooooooooooooooring. Do some serious wet and muddy rock climbing.
Fred did it easy.
Its HURRICAN ...... Not Hurricane
Spelled Hurricane. You can pronounce it how you like.
Cool...
cool
Encore
Nice
Spelled Hurricane. Said Her-eh-kin.
early at 3 am
Enough of the talking interviews, show the damn footage of the driving!
Kit this is as much about the people on the UA as it is about the off roading.
Think it's just the narrator that drowns out the action. But good to hear the participants views.
The should show the driver in a small window while showing him drive his rig.
More mud
