This was probably the best instructional UA-cam video I have ever seen. He did a super job demonstrating and the video quality was great. I got this job done in 30 minutes with no problems or head scratching thanks to this video. Thank you.
Good video. I watched it twice this morning and went out and got this disposer. I didn't have to change my old mount, so this literally took ten minutes. Thanks!
This was an excellent video! The suggestion to use a car jack to support the weight of the disposal while positioning and tightening it was amazing. Made what could have been a two hour frustration into a five minute job. Thanks so much!!
Great job brother. Very nice unit. I learned hot side of the plug when wiring. that was very insightful. One step I would add is I like to detach the dishwasher hose from the air gap and clean out running water hose with some pressure through it to clean out any crud that maybe in it. The electrical part was very insightful. I usually swap the plugs an try to match them as old install but now I know I'll be right. Cheers brother.
When I connect black wire to the black and white wire to the white, it doesn't work. should I connect Black to white and white to black and see if it works? Is that dangerous or you can swap like that?
Wow what a great video. I never put in a garbage disposal before. But with this video, made it easy. Only bad part for me was my pvc pipes - had some built up & boy did it stink lol. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. I was installing the same unit and having a really hard time bench pressing it into place and trying to attach at the same time. A trip to Home Depot for a new scissor jack like the one you used did the trick! (and has a lot of future uses anyway) Also, appreciated about how to tell the hot wire on the plug and outlet.
Thank you thank you thank you! Your video was detailed and easy to understand. The Only video that I saw that showed in detail how the ‘lift and latch’ function works. The use of the jack is also a super idea. Your video gave me the confidence to install this on my own. Very grateful
Great video. Encouraging to try as a DIY. But wondering Why don’t they just attach the wire to the disposal or provide a female plug before shipping the product ? Like a TV.
Great point! I'm not sure why they don't pre-wire the disposal for us, that would make it more simple. It might add more to their production costs? A good question to research. Thanks!
You could also theoretically use the preexisting wire from the previous disposal? I'm just making that up because I don't actually know xD BUT, I'm hoping that's the case because my outlet is behind some kind of MDF board under the sink.
I just moved into a house and the power cord goes into the wall, no visible outlet. I think I'm in trouble, probably have to hire an electrician to create an outlet and a plumber to remove the old dispos and install a new one 😔.

Thanks for your kind words and congrats on the installation. I’m so glad it was helpful. Thanks again!
The jack was an excellent idea. I chose the “break my back” method before I found your video.
Good video! Thorough and informative.
Thanks! Take care of that back.

Thanks and congrats on your install. I’m glad it was helpful…
You are amazing! My 74 husband was killing himself until you introduced the Jack as he was holding the disposal up prior. Thanks so much
One of the best home care videos I’ve watched, THANK YOU!! 😊
Thank you also!
Bro you’re a goddamn king amongst men. I look so good thanks to you. Chefs kiss and thanks a million likes for you. Cheers
Thank you! Cheer!
Your video deserves more views. It is definitely the best on UA-cam - very detailed and simply explained.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Best regards.
Thank You!!! I was about to buy a replacement but you pointed out the red reset button!! Yay!!!!!!!
Thank you!

Thanks! And great catch! I totally forgot about flushing out the dishwasher hose. Appreciate the helpful input. Cheers!

I think they leave up to the installer on how they want to wire. I've only seen hardwired once out of 100 installs

I think they do not provide a plug like in a TV because a disposal vibrates, and the plug may come loose. Hardwiring makes a more secure connection.
Any idea how to remove the cover off of the incinerator evolution? I love this video by the way appreciate the detail.
Thank you for the very detailed video. This is exactly what I needed. I just replaced mine. #NinerGang
So glad it was helpful. Congrats on the successful install. Thanks!
Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks!
Thanks for the live wire ID method!
I’m glad it was helpful. Thank you!
Great video. Thanks
Thank you! Happy holidays!
Excellent video. Thanks. One question: How did you cut the black plastic drain tube? What tool did you use?
If I remember correctly, I used a hand saw. Thanks!🪚
Great job. How much does a plumber charge for something like this?
Around $200.
@@alexg9896It might be worth it 😂
Hello
Hello buddy,
Love your videos. Keep making them!
I just moved into a house and the power cord goes into the wall, no visible outlet. I think I'm in trouble, probably have to hire an electrician to create an outlet and a plumber to remove the old dispos and install a new one 😔.
What a bummer! Good luck!
