This story reminds me of our very own Criselda Kananda who has been living with hiv for many years and I heard she has never gotten sick. She is beautiful and healthy and people here in South Africa used to say she was lying about her hiv status and she has never taken arv's. Some people believed that maybe she was paid to say she's hiv. This goes to prove that if you live a healthy life you can survive and live as long as GOD wants you to.💜

I remember my cousin born with HIV he was living with our grandmother but the way he was being treated 😪i remember he used to have his own things like cup spoon plate etc. Hakuwa ana kubaliwa ku share things with others

Doreen I appreciate your discussion and disclosure. You are such a brave woman.. I wish you all the best and I hope you went back to taking your ARV's . I don't really understand when people say they get tired of taking pills everyday. Please forgive my ignorance, but I see it like this...we don't get tired of eating, bathing , making up our beds, combing our hair etc... what makes it so difficult to put one or two pills on your tongue and flush it down with a cup of water ? It is just a mindset, let's change it and take medication everyday if we have to . It is much easier than having to get sick and start all over again.

You get very dizzy when you take the ARVs ... sometimes almost to the point of having hallucinations. Not alcohol type dizziness...a weird bad one. It's not easy ... you need encouragement to take those pills. The best thing you can do for yourself is taking good care of yourself NOT to be HIV positive
