- This awesome free quilt pattern uses a layer cake and comes together so quickly it will make your head spin. The name of the free quilt pattern by Moonkin Stitchery says it all - Lazy Days. You can enjoy the sun in your lounge chair during the day and still have plenty of time to pull this quilt together including the quilting. What?!!!!! April I have had a rotten no good stinky day today! I have been crying and just beating myself up and I was looking for something new to watch and you popped on my screen and I started thanking you knowing I needed you. LOL No it has been a really tough day and you made my smile and feel better. I love this quilt and I just found out that I had some layer cakes that were hiding from me. So this may be my project to do tomorrow to get me back up on the "wagon" and get things together. You are a God send!!! Thanks so very much!!!
