In this special Halloween episode, we bring you a hauntingly unforgettable experience with Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5 and legendary horror actor Bill Moseley, best known for his roles in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Devil’s Carnival, and Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses. In this video, John 5 talks about working with David Lee Roth, Rob Halford on the band ‘Two’ and how he missed out on playing guitar for Prince.
Bill Mosely, iconic horror actor discusses how he got into horror, how he knew he wanted to be an actor, seeing Jimi Hendrix live and how both he and John 5 share a love of guitarist Buckethead!
We also step into a realm of darkness as we embark on a nightmarish journey to the spine-tingling Evil Dead Exhibit, at the Bearded Lady’s Mystic Museum in Burbank, California where we walk through the footsteps of Ash Williams and discover artifacts from one of the most iconic horror franchises of all time.
With the Brooklyn skyline as our backdrop, we also take a trip to celebrate the dark and creative spirit of guitarist Kenny Hickey from Type O Negative. In this mini Type O negative, learn about how Type O negative was formed, touring with Nine Inch Nails and how their career success was (almost) decided by Beavis and Butthead!
So, turn down the lights and turn up the volume as we prepare to embrace the horror of All Hallows Eve!

Type O Negative is the most underrated band in metal. The music saved my life 💚RIP Pete
Totally it's like loving the dead a little bit😊
I can remember when we were introduced to the album by one of my favourite bands besides Sabbath which was the influence for these guys as well: Black Flag in attitude. Of course I am referring to Carnivore’s greatest work on the “ Retaliation” 💿 in 1987. If you think that Peter was all about the Goth style of Type-O-Negative; find this masterpiece of the heaviest band in this year period! Sincerely, DJP Anal Cunt; Postmortem and Kilslug Sony; Earache 🇬🇧 Columbia and TAANG!! Records @ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED Greetings 🖖 😅from Boston, Massachusetts Amerikkka quite obviously. Cheers 🥂
@@delanoarts3703 loving you was like loving the dead
Type O is definitely underrated. I've been listening to type o since about 2000-2001ish and once i got imto playing bass Peter was and atill is 1 of my favorite bassists...
Type O has also has played a huge role in keeping me alive. I wish Pete would have lived a lot longer happy healthier life ..
Merry Christmas my friend...
The Type O Negative part needs to be it's own video.
We shot with Kenny for 2 hours. Lots of footage to share!

Finally a worthy production for Type O Negative. It's excellent. Congratulations Gibson
I'm especially proud of them doing this for people that really never played Gibson instruments after the first record.
Type O negative will be forever my favorite band. 💚🖤🦇
World Coming Down is a record for the ages 💚 . Thank you for having Kenny sharing his story.
Can’t get enough of Kenny! 💚💚💚💚💚💚🙏🙏
I love this freaking show. I woke up this morning with Type O Negative on my mind. So I crunk up Love you to death. It brings back some good memories of a friend I lost.
R.I.P. Peter and Tippi.
💚Type O Negative will always be a part of my soul. So much love and respect for every one of those guys. Thanks Kenny. RIP Pete.💚
It was soooo cool to see Kenny of Type O. I loved the interview, easily one of the most unique and interesting bands of all time. My wife and I listen to Type O almost everyday.
I just got done watching it. Very cool that they got Kenny to interview about some interesting stories and memories about Type O Negative. Lol, yes, Beavis and Butthead back in the 90s was a big deal judging other bands. They freakin Loved TYPE O! haha. Yes, we love you guys and will never stop listening! TYPE O NEGATIVE FOREVER! 💚💚💚 I hope Kenny sees this comment, but I walked down to Love you to Death on our wedding day! 04-29-2023
💚 TYPE O NEGATIVE is a band I’ll always carry with me 💚 Kenny is one of my biggest musical inspirations. He is totally singular and unique as a guitarist, and also happens to have one of the BEST voices in Rock. Glad he is singing lead and bringing it all in EYE AM now.
Such a badass episode! Featuring my favorite horror franchise, Evil Dead, and my all-time favorite band, Type O Negative. 💚 What a perfect Halloween treat! 🎃 Thank you so much for this! 🤘🏻
I never thought I would see the phrase "John 5 of Mötley Crüe." 👀
Yeah, that was weird.
Type O 33:50
Anyone else crying? Much thanks to Kenny for this. RIP Pete 💚
Kenny’s interview just broke my heart at the end 💔❤️🩹 Thank you very much for such a present! ❤️
Long live Type O Negative. Will never forget the first time I heard Christian Woman while playing Bloody Kisses upon buying it on a whim in the 90's. Literally changed my life. So many thanks to those gentlemen. 💚🖤💚🐺
“DOG WILL HUNT dog will hunt”
Bill Mosley is a LEGEND
Type O Negative 💚
Gone but never Forgotten. Thank you for all the music you made. RIP Peter. Type O Negative forever! 💚
Absolutely love Type O Negative! It's great hearing from Kenny!
I met Bill in 2017 at a Horrorcon in NJ. Amazing human he is. I took a photo with him in the same GWAR shirt he’s wearing here! Love that he never got rid of it! You’re the man, Bill!
Thank you for the Type O vid .. that was fkn amazing and awesome :D
Type O soundtracked my teenage years and twenties and got me into The Beatles. Forever grateful
Type O Negative stories are by far the most interesting.
Thank you for featuring TON; huge respect for that. I’ve absolutely loved those boys since I was 11 or 12 in 94/95. Every album is a gem. RIP Pete.
John 5 is seriously the nicest dude I’ve ever met and had the pleasure of working with. So humble and respectful.
Depite the misery, or maybe because of it, Life is Killing Me became, in my opinion, their best album. A songwriting masterclass.
Gotta mention my love for Dead Again too.
Thanks for pulling together to make the best albums ever, guys.
Bill in Texas 2 is one of my favorite characters ever!
"So this is raaaaadioooland?"
I’m glad type o negative is getting the recognition that they deserve
Always fantastic seeing Kenny
Bill Moseley and John 5 need to form a band together.
These are SO fucking AWESOME. ! The production is amazing.

Yep, I was here last year! Thanks bro for the sweet postcard you mailed out after I partook in a thing or something. It's a sweet card and added well to the wall. Thanks again,. Let's rock.
Absolutely loved Kenny's interview. I've already rewatched that section 3 times. It's amazing to hear his insights and history.
More extended clips from the interview coming soon!
John 5 is one of the most coolest dudes out there!
Glad to see Piggy D doing so well for himself. I met him when i was like 14 when he was touring with Amen, he was just the nicest guy, signed loads of stuff, hung out with us for ages. Legend.
Great show guys, in my opinion John 5 is The guitar player going Today, Type O Negative is such an important band To me, The was The soundtrack To my life back in 94 and 95 back I was a crazy teen They will always hold a special place with me R.IP. Peter Steele
Type O Negative is one of the greatest bands ever to grace the stage. And Kenny Hicky is such an underrated guitarist.
Ive been waiting for John 5 to feature on this series, Bill is freakin awesome, such a great episode
awesome show, Great to see Kenny
Love this show !!!
Came here for Bill Moseley and John 5, leaving having loved seeing Piggy D in the Classic. Groovy cabin set up.
The peanut butter cup story was fuckin' hillarious. You could just hear Halford saying " How'd the bloody cat shit UNDER the cushion ?" Fantastic episode !!
Bill's in his 70s. Looks like he's in his 40s. Some good genes there!
This was an awesome episode. My kids got to meet Bill Mosely and hangout with him , from what I understand he seems to be a down to earth, intelligent guy. As far as Type O Negative goes, I started listening to them right after October Rust came out. A girl friend of mine at the time Introduce me to them. They literally saved my life....Their music and lyrics helped me to understand that I wasn't the only one and that I could laugh at myself. I do believe in a higher power, but, to hear humans go through the same helps. We all have our problems and issues, we are infallible and to me that's what makes us special in the grand scheme of things.
Type 0 Negative 💚 One of my fave bands forever.
First Class production in every respect; guests, host, sets, editing, etc . . . 🤘
John 5 is the man. Hard to beat
Matt is killing it with this hosting job. Props, dude.

Never thought John5 would be in a Gibson production.
So cool seeing John 5 and Piggy D together I miss seeing them play together with Zombie :(

Still jamming Type O since 1999
John's mom sounds so cool! ❤
Cool series , would love to see content more often . Keep up the good work cheers Baritone Cult ⭕️
Thanks for watching! Who would you like to see as future guests?
Awesome to hear J5 mention the Crestwood horror books. They were my introduction to horror as a kid in the ‘90s. Checked them out from the library as much as possible!
Always thought John 5, Buckethead and Mick Thomson should do a G3 type gig 🤖🔥🔥
Best Halloween present ever! Such amazing interviews. Once again some of my favorite artists all in one spot!
I changed the day I heard a full length Metallica album. My best friend's cousin gave me a copy of Ride the Lightning. I listened to it all the way from his house to my house on my bike. I got home, ate dinner then went up to my room and finished it. I listened to it over and over again. I think I actually went to bed listening to it and woke up at some point with it still playing. I had been playing guitar for a few months at this point. He made fun of me for knowing how to play More Than A Feeling and I didn't have a clue about Metallica or Megadeth.
This is such a badass trio 😍😍😍😍
This was a great episode! So many of my favorite things and artists crammed into this hour, just amazing. Happy Halloween everyone!!

An incredible guitarist! Thanks for watching.
I'm from Windsor Ontario Canada, across the river of Detroit...so my upbringing was kinda like John 5's....as well as Sir Graves Ghastly...he must remember ''The Ghoul'' late night Saturdays...and Creature Feature around 1pm Saturday afternoons from Detroit with the Whole Lotta Love theme song !!!
Don't forget "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein" either!
Great show!! I love to hear stories from musicians (and actors) talk about all their amazing opportunities that got them where they all are today!!! Us fans can only dream what it's like to have seen and heard and lived through all those awesome moments that rock stars and actors have endured ( the good and the bad!) .. Thanks for sharing!!👹👻💀😈🔥🎃 Happy Halloween everyone! Stay safe and spooky!💋💖♦♣♠♥
