I could never get over Kenny's actual speaking voice to his singing. He's an amazing singer
He's a FANTASTIC storyteller too, isn't he??
His backing vocals on Black no 1 and Christian Woman are my favorite , All Hallows’ Eve is cool but he tends to scream or project a little to much and Seventh Void as well , in my opinion, but who cares ? 😂
Right. His speaking voice is Columbo
Hope Josh is doing something musically. His playing was integral to the TypeO sound. Just great.
Blasting Type O on a drab autumn day fills me with delight.
I blast them on a sunny day my dude, but they help out anyday.
@@Brainbox3000 FUCK YEAH...there is NO BAD TIME or SEASON to blast TON. I drive my co-workers crazy with it, always showing up at work (at the last second) with my phone in my hand blasting 'Suspended in Dusk' or 'A Death in the Family'....or 'Christian Woman' or 'Too Late: Frozen'...or....
Man, I love Kenny and Johnny. Especially Kenny, I love the way he tells stories. I could happily listen to him tell stories about the band all day.
The story about Peter ordering Chinese food is just next level though! I can only image how fucking funny that must have been at the time 😂
"Who's THIS?!?!???"
@Arthur Bishop that way Johnny said “who’s this!?” as peter just killed me 😂
“It’s not funny!” God I miss Type O’s sense of humor! RIP Pete
Kenney tried to call Josh. That was pretty funny!
Josh may have been on an ambulance transport since he's become an EMT.
@@docnasty74 Or he just didn't want to talk...typical Josh...
"We needed 2 goth girls, & we got one blonde with crimped hair!... that's how the whole band went"
LOL 🤣
Loved Type-O, still listen to them.
6 months ago I played bloody kisses for a few days driving to work and back
Thanxs for posting this. God, Kenny's right. It doesnt seem that long ago, but yet it is. I thought my life was so complicated back then, little did i know...
Kenny’s drunk. I love Kenny. LOL
I started listening to Type O when Bloody just came out. Saw the 25 times in my life. Back in the day everyone loved Type O. Miss those days.
I love that Kenny called Josh so that he could be on air, tho he didn't want to be 😂
Kenny: every aspect of spinal tap, ive lived. Hilarious! I love these guys
My friends and I went to the Motley Crüe show in like ‘94 specifically because of Type O. They played like 3 songs in their allotted time and we left before the sun went down. 😂
Last time I saw Peter before he passed was in Chicago, best experience ever. Unforgettable.
"No chicken fingers, only claws"
Kenny's Josh and Peter debacle about the editing of Christian Woman is just amazing 😂
Thanks for sharing! I love these dudes💚 Type O eternal 🤘💋
A girl doesnt have kickflips that big sister! 😂😂!! ... 💚

One of the best albums ever recorded. I still have my disc from the mid 90s.
No better album exists, from any band, from any genre, from any era.
Same here.
@@arthurbishop3173 That's a strong statement, and I totally agree. 😈 'Bloody Kisses' is my favorite Metal album of all time.
Long live Type O Negative 💚💚💚
I wanted SO BAD for Josh to answer Kenny's Call...
I saw them back in 90's with Pantera first time.and i saw them again and again and\m/😜
This was a fun interview, getting the insider info on albums was ,as a fan, was great. Wish Pete was here to add in stories.
I actually literally laugh out loud when I hear Kenny’s impressions of Josh.
Look at what each dude is drinking...this is why Kenny has always been my favorite 🍻💚🖤
Such aspirations.

Never knew who the models were on the cover. We were so shocked that a store in Salem, MA put our album right next to this release. It was definitely a moment for us
I've watched these videos at least 5 times I can't get enough of their humor so awesome
I remember watching MTV all the Time..
And B&B Just talking smack about Music Videos was always fun to watch
One of my all time favourite bands interviewing another one of my all time favourite bands
Lmaooooo
Love the phone call! Lol, this is such a great interview!!!
I really enjoyed this cheers.
I love how kenny is. He is that guy I could instantly hang out with.
The thumbs down must be Josh! 😆
you beat me to it.

Really cool guys. I love the humor.
Classic album
Great box, finally I got at a reasonable price. Great sound and art

💚💚💚
These guys are hilarious
classic!
Kenny imitating Peter's or Josh's voice while telling old Type O stories is pure gold!!! I laughed so much!!💚
Good to see these guys again!
Type O miss that music big times. RIP Peter
great album!
pick up, josh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cant believe this camello out a week ago. TON forever 💚💚💚
I miss them
I had the CD . Fking amazing . I want the vinyl album bad
Love their story time
Good stuff. My favorite band of all time. Been a fan since Slow Deep and Hard came out.
I love Kenny and John but it feels so weird when they're so cheerful in these videos. Josh and Peter have/had the tortured souls.
great point
Amazing...
Kenny!!!
Those chairs look uncomfortably low
Haha if Peter was there, cant you imagine what he'd say bout em😉
I wasn't a Beavis and Butthead fan, but on a rare viewing, I saw the TON clip and ran out and bought the record. Been a fan ever since. So thank you Beavis and Butthead.
Beat interview ive ever seen
At first I thought the bald guy on the far left was Josh Silver lol. I was like whoa he has no hair. He kind of looks like him from the side at a distance.
Ive seen footage of Josh in past few years with no hair...so crazy
🤘🏻💚
Amazing band. It would be nice to have some soundboard live recordings as an official release. For the fans. Weird interview.
Josh - brother.
Christ..i miss this fucking band.
Oh my god!!!!
Perfect box for Halloween
anyone know the episode of beavis and butthead where Black No. 1 appears?
Season 7 episode 35
Just Google Beavis and Butthead Type O Negative.
@@Fireglo Thanks😊
Been trying to look for it on UA-cam or Vimeo, no luck yet :/
@@soulcollector_sr388 You got Mad skillz 💚💚💚
I truly miss this group .. always had killer shows in Detroit @ good old Harpo's, had seen them 10-12 times and was even at the last show 😥 STAY NEGATIVE....
RIP Pete
I'm sorry in advance to make this statement, but I'm pretty sure that knowing that Josh is actually working as a EMT in NY, a lot of TON fans imagined putting themselves in danger on purpose in order to be picked up by him. :'3
But despite Kenny claims, he hasn't drawn a line with his previous activity. I remember him clearly commenting on demo tapes videos by Type O and giving a little backstory about them. But he could had been upset by Kenny's phonecall considering that his ex-wife didn't passed away in a peaceful context.
I didn't know the story about his ex wife, is there a place I can read about it?
@@sabrinarosario7795 "These tracks were recorded onto a Maxell Studio MS-60 cassette tape by Peter in his home in Brooklyn. The tape was made not for Elizabeth as stated somewhere here as a response to a question, but for me to give as a Christmas present to my dying wife. She and I were friends of Peter's, and we thanked (and blamed) him, and the band, for our marriage. This tape (and some other rarities which shall with me to my grave), was made to try and bring a bit of peace and happiness to her sad heart in the Christmas season of 1997, as both Peter and I knew it would certainly be her last. This is the same reason he had provided me with the pre-production un-edited VHS tape (and artwork) of the material which would end up being After Dark. Those videos are available for viewing here on UA-cam as well now." by JoshNotSilver here : ua-cam.com/video/54ugzJNjMR0/v-deo.html
I hope we'll find some more precious comments from him around here 💚 I felt so blessed the other day when I re listened to that tape recording, knowing where it actually came from, and the sad beautiful story behind it... May Shela & Pete rest in peace 💚🖤💚
I guess ironically this gothic approach from the band still went in a humorous fashion :)
Peter was right. I loved the Radio versions until I bought the albums. Then there was no going back. I have Bride of Chucky to thank for getting me into them.

Is this box set sold out now? Was it ever released in Europe?
How's Josh doing nowadays?
What song is playing at 2:10? almost the whole video in the back ground actually
Samuel Gillespie Der Untermensch by Type O Negative
Der untermesch is a song dedicated to inner city useless unemployed scum who sell drugs, live on welfare and choose not to work. The chrois of the song: your a waste of life. And : social parasite. If progressive left wingers listen to the song it will instantly trigger them. I love it since I have no respect for people who CHOOSE not to work because of laziness or a victimhood mentality. Anyway it's a great song on the slow deep and hard album.
Does anyone know the name of the song that's playing at the start of this interview?
Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity!
Broke my heart listen Peter voice in the background..fuck !
Should've turned music down during interview though.
Nice interview, liked the info with the photography.
WMMS 100.7 would play Christian Woman. Seems like an alternate reality of another time now
Our classic rock station in the central valley in Cali plays type o towards through the end of October

@@meesterdinglefritz2064 Not that I noticed. I probably discover at least one or two decent new bands per month.
No you don’t.
I can't believe its been 20 years now since Peter died. Why?
It's been only 10 years and 6 months (4.14.10) but I still can't fckn believe it myself dude🖤💚🖤
Bevis and Butthead hahaha thumbs up for Black no 1
Johnny Kelly still uses Pantene....
he look's like einstein
i have half blonde half black (usually crimped) hair, but i don’t look that goth tbh
This guy at the record store in the mall convinced me to get Bloody Kisses. This was 1993. I was like 16. My gf and I saw my parents at the mall. That meant they weren’t at home and we could go home and get it on. I put Type O on the stereo. By the end of "Christian Woman" I had my head in the speakers and told her to finish herself.
What’s the name of the first song playing in the background?
Doug Dougington Unsuccessfully Coping With the Natural Beauty of Infidelity. From their “Best Of” album
I’m gonna probably bet that this must be painful to Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly because like Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic they both lost singers (Peter T. Ratajczyk/Peter Steele in ‘10 and Kurt Cobain in ‘94 respectively.
The way he makes fun of josh they all rock miss type o negative
Lol I don't think the interviewer knows what a photo negative is
Not to throw Nirvana into this but similar experience.
Peter didn't like too much change in his reality.
What's the bald dudes problem? He's getting to sit with 2 living legends and he looks like he can't wait for this to be over. Come on guy
@TheUniversal mind agreed & prolley they nor i know who the bald guy is. I read their band name but ?
He looks like he's getting The Talk from his dad.
Kenny= I can’t watch Spinal tap ! I lived it , it’s not funny .omg LoL

those chairs look super uncomfortable, are they for elves?

"ambulance driver" I hate that term
Metal died when Pete Steele died! Love Type O and Carnivore!
I don't mean to be a dick, but that's a dumb statement. One person cannot be responsible for the decline of a whole musical genre. I love Ozzy, but i won't even say that when he dies because it simply won't be true.
