Because of the F1 related programming with people like Peter Windsor, Steve Matchett, David Hobbs & Bob Varsha along with airing the races, I became an F1 fan in addition to NASCAR & Indycar. However F1 is also one of the major reasons why SPEED became FS1 because when F1 left SPEED for NBC after the 2012 season, it basically opened the door for all of the other series that were on SPEED (apart from NASCAR) to leave. In addition programs like Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain were cancelled around this time as well. And they cover nascar almost every single day throughout the whole year! At least Sirius xm does I’ve been a fan since the mid 90s and still am today.. but I noticed TV coverage gotten really dry and blah over the recent years and over saturated with commercials… it’s at the point to where I’ll mute the tv and just put the radio coverage on cause they do such a better job with everything!! I feel like the guys that work on the radio are more into the sport than the tv ppl are
sucks to see it go but if someone like nbc tnt cw or amazon can come through with something like this i’m sure it’ll be better. i forgot about the cw until you brought it up but I now thinking about it I think they’re the most likely suitor to make something like race hub

Something that would help ease fans into next year as they hold practice/qualifying and then the 5 summer races.
R.I.P NASCAR Race Hub, you will be missed.😞🫡
R,I,P.
NASCAR Race Hub.
(2009-2024).
Reason For Death.
FOX. The Network That, DESTROYED, Of The SPEED Channel.
I feel like TV (and maybe the internet) should take notes from radio (SiriusXM nascar radio, MRN & PRN) …. I know radio is older technology but radio has always done a really good job with coverage & their talk shows! And they still do great today!
And they cover nascar almost every single day throughout the whole year! At least Sirius xm does
I’ve been a fan since the mid 90s and still am today.. but I noticed TV coverage gotten really dry and blah over the recent years and over saturated with commercials… it’s at the point to where I’ll mute the tv and just put the radio coverage on cause they do such a better job with everything!! I feel like the guys that work on the radio are more into the sport than the tv ppl are
The way the CW channel is going they’d be the most likely ones to air some sort of weekly nascar show, other than that maybe Amazon prime.
Viewership must be down to the point that its not profitable anymore. Another nail in the Nascar coffin.
These days it's hard to get sponsors for anything that is not dominated by minorities.
They all lied about how great the racing has become never saying anything against NASCAR. No true unbiased commentary.
sucks to see it go but if someone like nbc tnt cw or amazon can come through with something like this i’m sure it’ll be better. i forgot about the cw until you brought it up but I now thinking about it I think they’re the most likely suitor to make something like race hub
When Fox took over Speed they got rid of Wind Tunnel with Dave Despane
No they didn't because Fox owned speed channel when that show existed. The change was when The rebranding happened
I still think it's crazy there hasn't been a NASCAR Network. All the other major sports got one
You don't think that kind of stuff isn't at least being considered/worked on? Not my idea of what I want though. This kind of content needs to be off networks like fux anyway as they have to just kiss nascars ass with mostly waste of time promotion
God I miss SPEED Channel
Between this and NFL Total Access, this past week has been a slaughterhouse for my favorite sports' longtime news shows. I never watched it much (especially as a pretty recent fan), but I at least like having something NASCAR to maybe put on in the early afternoon. So much for that I guess.
At least Radioactive is still here to carry the last thread of Speed's legacy.
Probably because it is like watching cartoons live. Really would prefer watching Tom & Jerry. Just tooo stupid , not really filled with real information. Just a bunch of BS.
