Thank you Robin, love your tutorials. I am able to follow along with you as I watch more and more of your videos, instead of pausing like I did in the beginning.....
Dear Robin, Your videos and just you in general have LITERALLY changed my life! By this time last year, I had no clue to even what crocheting was! Over the Summer, a friend of mine at summer camp (yes, I am a kid) showed me how to chain by hand without a hook, and I then got what she called “addicted” to it, and I may or may not have made one that was like triple or quadruple my height. Then, almost mid-summer, my mom knew I LOVED to do arts and crafts, and she knew I could chain already, so she suggested i learned to actually crochet things. So, she took me to Joan’s to get a TON of yarn(I love to go all out crazy) and a pack of basic Susan bates hooks, and I started crocheting! When I got back home, I went to my room, got on my tv, and looked up “how to crochet for beginners”. When I looked that up, the first thing that popped up was one of your videos, and I immediately started watching it. I then fell in LOVE with your channel, and watched all of the videos.
Ty robin! Not only are your videos clear and you provide Background contrast And you're very close up to the camera And explain every move clearly and then show your work at the end of each row. I don't know why everybody doesn't do this. But you are amazing and this pattern is absolutely beautiful. Thanks again. ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm a complete novice crocheter but wanted something very simple to take on holiday with me. I've just ordered the boho spirit yarn you've used for your scarf and while I wait for it to arrive, I'm practicing the pattern with some Paintbox yarn I have lying around. On my first attempt I couldn't find my final chain to do the double crochet to finish the row, I think I went into the penultimate chain, so I'll have another go! I've been watching lots of your tutorials and as others have said, your explanations are great, slow and clear without any distracting music or comments to confuse me! Thanks.
Hi Robbin! I hope you are doing wonderful! This is another fantastic tutorial. Thank you as always for offering great instruction. I continue to learn a lot from you!
I'm doing this as a wrap like you mentioned. And I'm using a fingering weight hand dyed yarn from hobby lobby. I'll post a picture to Facebook when I'm done. thanks for another great pattern Robin.
Robin I always look forward to your tutorials and you never disappoint! I purchased a beautiful yarn with metallic threads running through it and was looking for an airy stitch like this for a dressy pullover top to wear over a tank or turtleneck. This one checks all the boxes. Always lovely and always easy and doable. Love that you get right to the point in your description and not stretch out video. I always grab yarn and a hook after watching to tryout the stitch in all your videos. Thank you so much for being on UA-cam! You’re amazing!
I made a scarf out of my favorite colors and I love it! Your instructions made it super easy to follow and I love my new scarf! Wish I could share a pic with you. Thank you so much!!
Hooked by Robin yes they are! I love the colourway ‘folk’ I made a poncho out of it......looking at that Zen though? NO!!! I really mustn’t spend any more money on yarn this year! 🤣🧶😙☺️
Robin thank you so much! I think you saved my sanity! I just came off of a scarf and hat that were mostly puff stitches, and I'm so done with being annoyed at them ! This is the perfect pattern to restore my crochet joy!!
Have started my own scarf in colourway “chic” and it’s going really quickly. The yarn is fabulous, as long as you don’t need to frog! It’s such a simple stitch pattern, though, I only had to re-count my starting chain, so just had to frog the first row. I love it, so thank you for the great tutorial.
I'm using Landscapes yarn for this pattern and making a lightweight shawl for my friend's mom. It's stunning already. Thank you for sharing this pattern. I ADORE IT! 💙
Hi Robin. Another beautiful creation from you. Where do you get your ideas for your tutorials? Do you design all of your patterns yourself, because if you do your designs are absolutely gorgeous. You are so talented.
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! I'm using the same yarn and was getting frustrated because the other designs I was trying weren't working. It was losing definition because of the bulkiness of the yarn. This is exactly what I needed. Something more open and airy so the stitches stay defined. Thanks again! Xoxo, Kristie
You're a great instructor Robin. I can listen to your instructions and crochet along without having to watch or replay the video. Can you tell me the multiples for this stitch? I want to make a cardigan. I can probably play around with it but if you know the multiples that would be great! Thanks for sharing Robin.
Such an elegant scarf! 1 row repeat Woo hoo ❣️ The stitch marker in the beginning of the video is Adorable! Thank you for sharing your talent with us, you're a wonderful teacher and very much appreciated. Take care sweet one. Sending love from Florida🤗
I have 450 yards of a dk weight yarn that I have been puzzling over what to do with it since August of last year. I think I finally know what to do with it!
@@tinascott unfortunately I went from the dr's office straight to the hospital. They were very concerned it was appendicitis. I have an inflamed small intestine. Ornery thing 🤨
Yes ma'am. I left Long Island 25 years ago because of the cold weather, but husband is from Poland and wanted to move back. I'll be happy to jump on a train to visit new cities and countries while styling in my scarves!
Thank you for such a clear video - so easy to follow :). I have some dDK yarn in burnt orange so Im going to give this a whirl following your suggestion of a long ractangular wrap.
