Love your videos, this pattern i fell in love when i saw the pattern with flowers. I started to make a blanket i love it, and it did click when i started making my blanket.❤ good job teaching this pattern your very good explaining in your videos when teaching a new stitch God bless❤
I love that it makes a flower once you’ve completed the first 5 rows.. it makes sense to change colors so that it can bring out the flower more. Thanks for sharing ❤
I’m making 2 panels and sewing them together to make a loose comfy top. I used a dk bamboo/ cotton yarn. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you for this pattern.
Love this stitch pattern! You come up with some really pretty ones, Tiffany. I can see this in cowls, scarves, wearables like tops, vests, etc. I'm inspired. TY.
Lovely Stitch. Love the idea of changing colors to create the flowers as well. Thank you so much Tiffany for having a pattern card! That is such an awesome idea and makes it so easy to keep a record of all these new stitch patterns. 😀
Love this pattern. I'm figuring out how to make a cowl with this stitch, (in the round with a 3-weight). It's a WIP! Thanks Tiffany for your inspiration, time and generosity, you're such a breath of fresh air!
I might have already told you this? Can’t remember, but I hook my left pointer finger like you do, I have better control , but I hole my hook in my right hand like more of a Pencil .
Pretty stitch. I prefer the solid of the two but might try with different colors. Thank you for showing this and for all the information and clear instruction.
So pretty! I added one double crochet at the end of Row 5 (into the final stitch) and that gives a nice, straight edge there. Makes it easier when adding the border.
Tiffany-thank you for sharing this beautiful stitch. I plan to make a white baby blanket. Then use baby green for the stems and different soft colors like yellow and pink to make the flowers.
I am actually making a grocery bag holder using something similar to this. I made a black with white flowers for my daughter and now a green with red flowers for my sister. I don't have the "dirt" row though. TFS
I'm gonna use this to make an infinity scarf for my daughter.. she picked a very pretty hank of thin light grey wool I have.. this pattern is perfect 🥰 💞 thx girl
Really like the look of this. I will probably use one color or color changing yarn. I love the colors you used to make it look like roses but I probably won’t do this as the number of ends to be weaved in is too daunting.
I love this stitch. I am on row 10 of a baby blanket for a upcoming shower I am attending. It is beautiful. I think the definition would of been better in a solid though. but this is the yarn I had lol. Love that you have Time Stamps that is so helpful for real... Also TY for providing a Free PDF for this. I just printed it out... We are prepping for hurricane Ian. I may need it if we loose power. At least I will have something to keep me busy ..
Oh gosh! My prayers go out to you that you are safe and make it through the storm. You will have lots of crocheting time for sure! It might even help distract you or calm the nerves. 👏🏻
Hi tiffany hansen right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite type of yarn to used when crocheting and I can't wait to try this pattern sometimes
Wow! Just changing colors it makes It look like 2 different patterns. I really like both. What are your thoughts? I want to make placemats and coasters with cotton yarn with this pattern.
@@CrochetWithTiffany thanks Tiffany. I started the scarf, using Lionbrand landscapes color way boardwalk and it’s working up so pretty. This a fun stitch to do. ❣️💙😀
I usually only do a one or two row repeat. But as you said, because of the nature of the stitch, it doesn't look that hard. I am definitely going to give this a try when I'm ready for another project.... How do you think it will look in a self-striping yarn?
I am so over joyed that you would step out of your comfort zone to give this crochet stitch a try! I think you will have so much fun with it! Honestly, this stitch holds it's own and with a self-striping yarn it could look VERY pretty! Please give it a try and let me know what you thought. 😊🧡🧶
Hi Tiffany I love this stitch is so easy one more in my list to do. Tiffany I have a question do you have a blanket patter where you can add letters. You see my son is a fan of the yankee and I’m making a blanket with the Yankees colors but I want to put in the middle of the blanket their symbol NY with the Y in top of the N please let me know thank you have a great day
Hi Maritza! What a FUN idea!!! Adding letters to the blanket to help personalize it! If I were you I would grab some grid paper. Draw the blanket on the paper and then mark off or color in the squares to make the letters you want. Keep in mind that you cannot use loops or rounded letters, you will have to make them pixelated and boxy. We are going to pretend that each square is a stitch space. OR whatever increment of stitches you need it to be. Now follow the color chart you just created, switching colors where you need to, to create the letters within the blanket. What you are doing with this color change is known as either Intarsia or Stranding. I actually have a video on how to do this if you would like a little more reference. I hope this helps! CLICK HERE: ua-cam.com/video/mmahZtyleVI/v-deo.html
@@CrochetWithTiffany oh boy I have never done this but is the idea I have I want to make a queen size cover now doing the streaming is that takes more yarn and can you do this in any type of stitch on your tutorial you use single crochet, I was thinking making the letters like about 3” the leg post do you think is big enough for that dice of blanket I was also thinking of finish the blanket and than crochet over the letters like embroidery in to it. I don’t know what do you think the blanket would be like between 200 & 250 chain
Honestly, I have no doubt that someone has made this stitch in the multiple colors and called it the Tulip Stitch because that's what it looks like. The book I got this pattern from calls it the Lacy V Crochet Stitch and had the whole pattern one solid color. Great catch though! 🤗🧡🧶
