Love the Boho Spirit and would like to make a scarf using it. What were the dimensions of the finished scarf please Robin and how much yarn did you use. Thanks for sharing this pattern.
Hiya Cath! I haven't got very far with this scarf, only a couple of feet at most. I started with a chain of 40 and used a 4mm hook with the Boho. I'd estimate that 2 balls should be plenty for a decent sized infinity scarf or maybe 3 if you wanted a more traditional long scarf (or even a wider wrap) 😀 I hope that helps! (Sort of 😂)
I counted my stitches wrong yet I like that the pattern is simple and doesn't take much yarn. I want to make a shawl with this pattern, do you have a shawl pattern for this stitch on utube?
I’ve taken up crocheting to support my mental health and it’s been a blessing to find you videos, from teaching style to warm presence, you’re truly one of the best and most generous teachers on this app. Thank you for all that you do!
I love the way you teach!! I had a stroke 5 years ago and still struggle with comprehension and words due to Aphasia. I can’t seem to follow a written pattern anymore but this tutorial has saved me. Wanted to let you know that I love your work and the easy way I’ve been able to follow. So thank you so much!
Robin, I came across this stitch looking for something new and pretty to learn. My search brought up many tutorials and you are the only one who clearly explained and showed the stitches you were creating. I am not new to crocheting - more “beginner-intermediary” - but was discouraged until I found your tutorial which is visually smooth.
I appreciated the fact that you showed & described clearly about how to identify where to place the dc in the turning chain when you get to the end of the row. I’ve had trouble with this on other videos & ended up screwing up my pattern. Details like that are important for beginners. Thanks 🙏 🙂
I am super happy with your instructions. They are easy for me to understand plus I needed an open weave for scarves as I live in Arizona and it really never gets "cold" here, even in February. I cannot wait to work this.
Love this pattern! We make prayer shawls for our parish and these work up so nicely and quickly we can provide many shawls for our parishioners. Thanks Robin. ❤️
I love this pattern, making a spring shawl using Lion Brand Mandala Ombre in the 'Tranquil' colorway... it's beautiful and so soft. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations.

Hi from Deer Park, Texas (we are S/E, next to Houston & not too far from NASA or the Gulf. Needed a pattern to make a scarf for my daughter for Christmas. She's 50 & picked out a yarn I'm not used to working with, it's thick & feels like velour. I tried 3 different designs, but none looked good with the yarn till now. I'm going to finish this & add micro SS beads to the center of the fan & maybe the sc, which is between the fans. The yarn is Red, 'Yarn Bee' Velvety Smooth Sparkle. It hs little specks of silver thru it...very pretty, very soft; will make a nice warm scarf... although Texas is only cold about 3 mo out of the year. You're a ❤ wonderful ❤ teacher! THANK YOU for sharing your expertise with the world. Lana 😊 I don't know if I'm able to attach a picture, but if I can, I'll do so right before, or after, Christmas. :)
I'm not sure which was better, the beautiful thread your scarf was made of or learning the stitch itself. I'm now a fan of the open fan stitch for sure. Thank you so much.
