What made this scene so beautiful is the amount of realism depicted... Sure they’re just children on a bus, but this scene to me conveys the WHOLE movie. The fact that they won’t even let someone as humble and caregiving as Forrest sit on a seat on a bus... ugh, the ugly side of humanity :( I’m an optimist though and I don’t depict people this way but gosh... 😭
The melancholy I get with this scene... I absolutely love it, which is why I feel like this movie is a complete masterpiece. At such a young age, Forrest is experiencing the society that we currently live in... Being constantly ridiculed, not allowing anyone to sit down and relax... None Of them were being like that. In reality there's a possibility of being a bully target if congregation besides, don't underestimate people who similar to Forest. He's more likely on the spectrum .I was bullied by multiple people who were similar to him they often tried to pick fights with me on multiple occasions. ONE even pulled a small knife On me 🔪 though, luckily I was able to defuse the situation

Get red pilled. Forest Gump may have seemed like an innocent enough movie. But deep down Jenny just used Gump all along. Gump was the beta orbiter that Jenny finally let him hook up with her. And only when she finds out she got aids/hiv and was dying did she reach out to Gump so he could raise her kid.

She had no self worth and probably felt like she deserved to be treated bad thats why she went with abusive men. Abuse victims carry that trauma for life it never goes away

They hates her because Jenny is real. A real person with a lot of personal issues. Someone who has a good heart but has so many problems in her life that she cannot be the perfect person and good angel friend to Forrest ALL the time. That she has her own life even when it is filled with bad decisions and not just be a supporting role in Forrest story. They hate her because she is not perfect and has her own story.

When I first saw this movie, I was afraid the bus driver would be a mean, bitter lady that would mistreat Forrest for being different/slow. But she actually turned out to be nice and supportive, giving him a reassuring smile that he would be welcome on 'her' bus any time. It was more impactful because I didn't expect it to happen. Then she's still driving that same bus when Forrest sends his son to school and treats Forrest Jr the same way, with that same reassuring smile.
