Mortal Kombat will never top Mileena and Baraka from this game, these are without a doubt, their best versions. Tanya and Ermac were also really awesome in this game, a lot better than their versions from X, which were also pretty good.

I agree 3d fighters are more fun than 2d fighters after Mortal Kombat 11 story with the Alternate timeline being erased I see Netherrealm going back to the Original timeline which in return we'll go back to the story from MK1 - MKA and the next MK game is going to be 3d like MK4 - MKA.
When I first played Deception, Dariou was actually the first character I mastered, and because of that I played him the most. I love his backstory and his classtype and he's probably one of my favorite 3D era characters.
