5th day in use now. Used them on a 166W Burton Custom X with Ride Insano boots. The responsiveness is incredible. 0 forgiveness. Dampening is not bad. If you have a responsive setup and you want a binding that any force you put in to it is transferred directly to board then that is for you. No issue with the ratchets, work like a charm. I am perfectly happy with the highback adjustment and even adjusted it while on the chairlift so doesnt get much easier than that. Not for freestyle but for all mountain, carve and freeride/pow will work great. Anyone above intermediate that wants to go a level up in his riding will love them.

I ordered a pair of atlas gas pedals and switched them out when riding hard pack. Less vibrations. But use the carbon ones in powder. It’s like having 2 bindings in one

Been riding my 2022 set of them on my Bataleon Carver, about 7 days on the setup last season, including 1 beer league boardercross comp, and love them. I will agree, the ratchets are a bit on the firmer side, but the bindings are telepathic to the board and snow. Got these for stiffness, durability, and lightweight; and they deliver on those so far. A bit stiff for an all-mountain setup, but I enjoyed them a surprising amount on a real pow day, same for the Carver, surprisingly great on the pow.

Atlas pro's are my go to bundings. Absolutely love them and they just seem to do everything great

These are a perfect match with my Capita Mega Death. Solid charging combo.

Bought these bindings for the 2024 season. I use these bindings on a Never Summer Ripsaw 151 and Kazu Kokuba pro 2024 151 (with Burton Felix Boa Snowboard Boots) . I broke them in on the NS, and man like Sage Kotsenburg said “You get out what you put in”. Switching it to the Capita board I got the responsiveness and the aggressive style that I like. The responsiveness I desire takes work but I make up for that with going to the gym. The only two downsides I have are the dial and high back. The dial is easier to adjust when strapped in on the mountain(or do it when not in use and it’s a lot easier), but once you find the settings you like… leave it. The high back would be 100 TIMES better with a wing highback system for loading my board up for a trick and increase responsiveness. Overall I really enjoy these bindings and would give it a 7.8/10 rating (with my setup).

I've got the 23 Falcors and had issues with the quick release tab after about 10 days. They're very sticky. And not quick. After about 20 days, they weren't any less sticky.

I like Atlas bindings but agree they aren't very damp. I snapped the heelcup on my current pair, want newer ones, but not sure about the new forward lean dial. Mine were right before that design change. Even though I'll just set the lean once and that's it for the whole season, I've still heard (rumors) that the dial gets stuck and is prone to issues.

I found the adjusters in the back get turned on their own or by hitting snow or something and turn so far out that they get stuck and can’t get them to turn the other direction back in. Duct tape is the answer for me, but wish they had regular adjusters.

Shit I got one that only wants to spin one way and have to use a screw driver to put pressure on it in order to spin the dial. Hard to get them to move at all.

Yeah I checked these out at an evo shop and the dials on the floor model were completely stuck. The sales guy said it was a product of the paint sticking. Bizarre design flaw.

Yah I'd always be sorting them out in the gondy. They spin too easily.

the pros of this toe strap is they are super light, the cons is they are easy to break if u don't pay close attention to fit them well to your boot.

    Thanks for the review,
For me, the regular Atlas I own has more dampening than older models and fast response but the cushion is GONE, I only use the Atlas in pow nowadays because of that. You can feel everything under your feet. The footbed on top of the disc does not have much cushioning and is quite stiff plastic. Is the Pro version even harder with carbon there or does it have better cushioning than the regular Atlas?. And yes the ratchets (especially the toe one) are sticky and you have to be surgical to remove it with the small pin. Thanks to the Atlas I switched to Katanas.

It's actually about the same, just more response.

Hi! Would U recommend Atlas Pro or Drive Pro for freeride/carving on Cafe Racer 164 for an advanced (I believe) male 240 lbs? Which of them are stiffer toe to heel and laterally? Or maybe there are some better options? Thanks!

    Hi Angry!
I’m looking for some bindings for my CAPiTA Megadeth that you assisted with sizing not long ago .
I’m considering the Atlas, Atlas pro, or the new force .
I like going hard, but I also like comfort and will be spending some time with the family also.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Don’t have the money for these at the moment but want a slightly more responsive binding. How much of a difference would it make if I put atlas pro high backs and stiffer straps on my ultras? Might be a dumb question so sorry in advance

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  8 місяців тому +1

You won't be changing the underfoot flex at all but the highback and strap will become more responsive.
