Probably my favourite binding, have had three over the years. Right level of rigidity/feel for aggressive riding, not so much that it kills surfy pow or goofing around. Not sure how I feel about the dial though, looks like something ready to get iced and jammed. The flippy thing with a screw was simple and repairable, no need to reinvent the wheel.
I also have a Shadowban. Binding recommendation? About to start a season in japan so keen for the powder but also love all mountain sidehits, carving and small jumps. Barely ever go into park. Cheers!
@Avran How did your K2s fit with these (and I guess Union bindings in general)? Have a set of Medium and looking at picking up some K2 Maysis in a US10. My Atlas are running in an 'inverted mullet' style, with the minimal toe strap from the Falcor, along with Strata ankle straps/highbacks if this is relevant. Thanks.
Hi David- I really appreciate your knowledge and reviews man! I ride a 2022 Jamie Lynn 160w I have the Union Force bindings on it and I really like the Force...but I find myslef looking for a bit more edge to edge drive and more ability to manipulate the board I'm considering the Atlas Pro, because it is supposed to be a stiffer binding and I'm hoping gain some additional feel What are your thoughts on the Atlas Pro? Big difference between them and the Force's? I also just picked up a GNU Banked Country 163w, curious your thoughts of what bindings you'd recommend for both these all mountian shredding boards!?
Hello! I am looking at getting a 2024 Jones Frontier and I am between the Atlas and the new Force. Which one would you recommend? I mostly snowboard all mountain terrain (on and off piste and powder). I don’t ride park.
You should do a review video on the whitespace freestlye board, i've been wanting to get one but heard some bad things about it, (and good things) wanted to hear your thoughts.
Yo man not sure if I missed it or not but what board/binding is your go to for ‘24? I’m looking for something that’s camrocker thats playful enough that’s fairly catch free but can still charge when I want for a do everything type deck. Also unfortunately I’m an east coast rider. Any recommendations?
How do these compare to Burton genesis bindings? (Not the X, the normal Genesis) Considering these for the second half of the season, just hesitating still...
Just bought the 22/23 version from discount but it came with a normal disc not with the camber disc with single piece elongated washers. Am I mistaken that it was supposed to be the camber disc, should I contact my retailer?
How do these compare to the regular Atlas regarding dampening? I love the Atlas but my knees take a beating and there’s next to no dampening in the regular Atlas. But I love the stiffness and profile of them.
Hey I’m looking to get my first snowboard and I don’t plan on getting another for a few years so I need it to last me, I can already do some backflips, 360s and go down double blacks. I enjoy hitting the park but also want something I can go down double blacks with ease, I was wanting a twin probably so I can do everything what kinda bored would you recommend, I was looking at the mega merc, gnu rc, or spring break but the sn is out of stock rn.
Get a mega merc and call it done. You want it to last a few years so the extra build quality and price matters more and less. It is a stiffer board than some other all mountain freestyle boards but it will make you a better rider if you ride the park with it imho. Carves with the best of them and it is super light. The set back does help a bit and doesn't affect switch riding almost at all. If you didn't want to charge double blacks, the Spring Break Resort Twin is my park board choice ( it can still charge, just not as well ). Don't think, just CONSUME.
@@sgrisingtothetop3775Yep. Pick SB if you want to focus on park more or Mega Merc if you want focus on charging hard more, but they both ride the whole mountain excellent. Don't over think it they are both sick boards.
Truce is a little softer than I'd personally want on that board. Good binding but unless you're on a budget or want something that soft, no reason to go for it.
@@AngrySnowboarder what would you recommend instead? I bought the truce last winter and only used them once.. and now I got a shadowban, so I don’t want to spend another $200-300 if I have an almost brand new pair of bindings 😅
The problem with this is, I’ve had it come out on its own and then get stuck at full lean. I just set it and put some duct tape over the adjuster. Really don’t like the design though.
Nice Tony Bromo - real nice bro...

I wanted to get a pair of atlas bindings but the dial turned me away from them. I hope next year they remove them
got a pair, dial was very hard to turn on the one. reached out to union and they overnighted a new highback no questions asked
@@jnilloc this is old but I thought I'd mention my dial fell out! Same, they sent me a new one no questions.
Great review!
I would like to get your advice.
I rode Ride LX then EX for years. I need a responsive binding. Any suggestions?
Between this and the Rome Cleaver, I thought the Cleaver is easier to adjust and the Rome aux tech was more snug out of the box on my Invado Pros.
tried these out a test event. even the reps had trouble moving the dial between riders once it got snow in there and froze up.
my dial is hard to turn when dry lol.. only a season old
I also have a Shadowban. Binding recommendation?

Fine as long as the heel cup was pushed out.

It's now your job to email them and tell them to send one for review.

@@AngrySnowboarderI love you 😘
Just picked up the 2024 Atlas, has anyone had any issues with the forward lean dial moving on its own throughout the day or over time?
Read the responses, it's looking that way.
Hi avran! Which brand bindings highback rotates the most? Thank you!
Fuck if I know I don't rotate that shit. I think it's all about the same.
Would these be a good binding for the ride warpig? If not what would you recommend? Thanks!
Little stiff, might want to bump down to the Force or even the Strata if you do Union.
I would definitely go with the force on the warpig. Thats been my daily driver for 3 seasons and I love the feel on the board

You’re fine don’t over think it
I would contact them, you paid for it. Union is good about sending out stuff from their warranty department.
Would you recommend these for the T rice Pro And ride superpig?
Sure.

This is the Atlas review.
@@AngrySnowboardermy fault. Thoughts on how much more damp the atlas pro is in comparison? Thanks.
Not much. Might be time to look at the Bataleon Astro Full Wrap or Rome Cleaver.
I rode this binding with my Rome black, er, no, hang on!😂

When I feel like riding that crap.
Here’s an idea if the dial gets stuck , just don’t use it , I’ve never used forward lean and I’m sure it works just fine without it.
The problem with this is, I’ve had it come out on its own and then get stuck at full lean. I just set it and put some duct tape over the adjuster. Really don’t like the design though.
I use forward lean, usually just one notch to bring the high back a litte closer to my boots spine angle
