I think the synchronization between the song file and project file is one of the key production features in Studio One. Mike did a great job as usual pointing this out, demonstrating it and highlighting the benefits.
Thank you for doing these videos! This channel has been a huge help since 90% of the videos you've done apply to exactly what I need. Please keep them coming!!
Same as you I don't tend to use plugins that change the tone or character in the Master Insert or Post but a Limiter in post can help catch any clipping, if you use automation.
The challenge for me is I'm working with a one hour live show with multiple songs. Using START and END markers my first song exports just fine. The second song, however, overwrites the first. Now I have song number 2 on the project page twice and my first song is gone. Of course, my go-round is to export a mixdown until I'm ready to master, but it would be nice to work with multiple sections of the song file.
Thats it,I gotta upgrade to professional while theres black fri sales I have a record to finish.I have Ik multimedia Tracks5 for mastering but it is a pain, the plugins are great for s1 so the upgrade just makes more sense. The vids help so much too.🗽📼
Hi Mike a have a question: is there any way how to enable those lines in the canvas ? in Cakewalk those could be enabled but i did not find any option ow to enable those in S1. recording is a litle tricky in S1 having none of those supporting lines in the background i am using s 6 artist is this maybe the reason i do not have those ? can you help me out with this please thanx alot
Super basic question: I'm recording music basically for myself, but I do publish it sometimes. When would I want to use the Projects Page in Studio One versus just making those kind of changes (Pro EQ3, Ozone Maximizer, etc.) and putting Sound Reference ID on my post-Main bus or Listen Bus in my regular Studio One mixing chain? Is it just a work flow preference?
Mike, I see your rendering runs at up to 10x normal speed - mine runs at 3x at best. What's your secret? Is it a super-powerful processor? Heaps of RAM? Energy drinks?

Although I've seen many videos on this, including ones by you, I look forward to Part 2. Thank you!
Thank you for this valuable information. Perfect timing, as I have a few songs I want to master.
Thanks!
Nicely explained! I'll be back for part 2. : )
Thanks Mike. Looking forward to part 2

Is there a way to edit the song title after it’s been uploaded in to the project page?
