This was at Makuhari Messe in January and this video is taken from the Wowow stream version of the concert. Su was definitely struggling a little at this show, especially on the first night, when they were having audio issues due to the fact that when they did their sound check without the crowd it sounded fine, but when the audience was in the arena it messed with the acoustics and threw her off. She was much better on the second night, but I still felt like she was either nervous or still not 100% confident in the new songs. When I saw Monochrome again at PIA Arena MM in April, she sounded much more confident and in control.
When Su told us to take our phones out, we were all kind of confused, because at the start of the show there were all these warnings about not taking photos or filming, and then all of sudden Su is telling us to get our phones out. People hesitated a bit, but in the end, our desire to do what the Queen told us won out and everyone waved their phones and many feels were had.
One thing that you don't really get to fully appreciate when you watch them on video is just how unbelievably charismatic Su is; she is utterly mesmerizing on stage when she's there in front of you.
Absolutely correct she's amazing ❤😁🤘🏼🦊 at Wembley i swear she was louder than the male singers from Lord and Sabaton ! 🤣🤘🏼

@@Icipher353 oh yes that is indeed incredibly amazing and true always has been . We bow to our Queen but i noticed how loud she was at Wembley her vocals dont dissapear they just stay there and i thought bloody hell she is louder than them 🤣🤘🏼🦊

This is my favorite choreography, to my favorite song. Monochrome has a groove within the really heavy instruments that I think this choreography really makes stand out.

Nice one, Su has been having everybody take their phones out at the shows they're playing now and humming the melody when they've played 'Monochrome'.
You know the best way to watch a whole show - get yourself tickets ... they are playing the Camden Roundhouse for 2 nights in November, tickets went on sale this morning - "get them while they're hot!"

You're going to absolutely love the choreo for Metal Kingdom, lots of those pops in movements. This is definitely one of their more mellow songs.
Ahhh I'm excited! Since Momoko become the official new member I've noticed a drastic change in their choreo
@xiaouiris ᖭི༏ᖫྀ I read something very interesting in a recent interview! So, folks have observed the major differences in their choreo from when they were young to now. Less running and jumping, but more technical refined movements..people chalked it up to them growing up and maturing.
In this interview, Moa claimed the change didn't necessarily occur due to their age, but due to the maturity of content in the songs now and the stories they need to tell through the choreo. Very interesting!
Right now Metal Kingdom with the full triangle formation choreo had only been performed once live, and the only footage we have is fancam so it's not great and the sound is bad but you can still see the choreo pretty cool.
I myself am seeing them back to back for my first times ever in August. Super excited!
Oh another note on Momo, since she's had her mic and become official, she has been a crowd hype and energy powerhouse at all these new shows, having the time of her life! So amazing to see!

BabyMetal's singing, choreography, KAMI BAND are all the best.
But there was an element in that video that went beyond the choreography, the singing and the music.
It is the expression and attitude that Su-metal enjoys singing and performing on stage.
Her expressions let us see how much she loves to sing, dance and perform on stage.

This was the first time Su sang the new songs at a concert and the first appearance after their hiatus. I think that contributed to her voice being shaky, they also had technical issues with the IEM the first night out of two. She also pushed herself into trying new things for several of these new songs. I'm sure it will improve over time and it is already much better from what I've heard from recent performances in Europe.

That was Moa singing in the lower register.
Also most of the videos that have video overlays for copyright reasons also have non watermarked versions.
That way you can see the performance better, and still have a “safe” version for posting.

Nice reaction. After the announcement that Momoko is officially the new member it was during this song's breakdown section. that we got to hear Su call Momoko by her new tittle. As Su asked Moa and Momometal if they see the lights looking like stars. Some years ago, Su and Moa got to experience the crowd lights before. Su was very impressed by this. Now she gets to incorporate into the show. Love the humming part. It's very different from most breaks especially in the world of metal. Babymetal continues to change the world of music performance. Babymetal so much fun. Makes you look forward to whatever they do next.
Monochrome, my favorite song from the new album. Does It seems like they're doing a lot more hand and arm movements in the choreography for the new songs this time around,or am I wrong 🤔 BTW they dropped a new live performance video this morning which features Momo with a microphone 🤗. Their official stuff quite often misses a lot tbh - I saw a video (fan filmed from the front) from london of Divine Attack where Moa did a wonderful little routine at one point that involved a lot of what you'd call "popping" I 'd guess - looked super cute and very cool :) - you just don't see it in the "live" version they put out

I have a love/hate relationship with Mikikometal. I feel that her choreographies do not leave her comfort zone, and I see a very similar style of dance in all the choreographies when I would like more variety, but at the same time her choreographies remain engraved in my head and when I listen to a Babymetal song I can't stop thinking about the choreo. So I don't understand why she makes certain decisions, but in the end the result is good so I guess it's okay. I like to see your reactions and see that you question Mikiko's decisions that I also question haha.
I liked the choreography of Metalizm on this new album, it has several classic movements by Mikiko, but at the same time I feel a more experimental choreography on her part. Apart from the fact that the girls change positions a little more, since sometimes I feel tired to see the usual formation. Of course, even in that choreography it made me question several decisions, but in the end, as I said before, I can't erase the choreography from my head. So good choreography in my opinion, but at the same time I feel that they don't take advantage of the full potential of Momo and Moa haaaaaa. I think I have a conflict, but in the end I like Babymetal's choreographies haha.

The PIA Arena version always gets me a bit, especially with the inclusion of Momometal 🥺
No dance moves in it, but performance wise "Monochrome" piano ver First Take performance is fantastic.
I would really like to see your reaction on BABYMETAL - Tales of the Destinies. It's a song in a progressive metal style, so it seemed almost impossible for me to choreograph it due to the difficulty of the song and all the changes in tempo, but they have it done (but only once)!

I know nothing about choreography, but to me it seems like they are focusing more on upper body movements now, whereas in the past there was much more movement in the legs and "jumping around".I don't know whether that's a conscious decision to appear more mature, or whether it's just because they don't have the stamina of 12 year-olds anymore. I hope I don't sound offensive, but I think that takes away from the uniqueness of their choreography. I always praised them for not just stringing together random moves from the "official grab-bag of choreography moves" that many dancers in Pop music seem to use. It feels to me like they are drifting a bit towards that now. It's still good, but I think it was even better before.

I think Babymetal is sui generis. They are unique. They shouldnt be evaluated as dancers because what they are is rock stars. I saw your reaction to black pink lisa and the dancing was much better because she is a dancer. I dont think Baby metal has the time or energy to get real artistic with the dance. Compare them to any other metal band in the world and you wont find their equal dancing. But you cant compare them to people who just dance. Baby metal has to entertain 40,000 people at a time they dance well enough for that but compare the money they make to that of any other dancer and you will see why they dont become dancers, would you if you could be a rock goddess trade it in to be a dancer? Not saying dancing isnt a fine art but being a rock star definitely isnt a fine art its folk art. You cant judge it as a fine art. Anyway enjoy your reactions.

I’m not nervous I’m just very theatrical, stems from drama lessons I took growing up. I try so hard to control it 🙈
@@xiaouiris lol, you read my comment, thats funny. Well, i know that you are a choreographer/dancer. And those fantastic artists talk with their whole body. With their face, eyes, hands, feets, hips etc. (i like the stuff from Maurice Bejart).
Don't get me wrong, but it was my first impression, when i saw you. And sorry, now i understand: you are not a icecube, sitting frozen on a office-chair talking bla bla bla...!
