You know how they say that when you break a mirror you get 7 years bad luck? Well along the same lines, it turn out that when Moa makes eye contact with you from the stage you get 4 years of joy and happiness!
The Madison, WI show was my first BABYMETAL show and it was awesome! Didn’t have front row, but was up in the 2nd row of the balcony and got many great pictures and video from up there. And like you said, the girls were non-stop for the entire show. The energy was off the charts.
Watching your video feels like I went to a BabyMetal concert again. During the BabyMetal concert, I felt like you that time flew by. And I have to follow the chant, wave the towel, turn on the phone light, pay attention to the pit in front of me... etc., so I feel very busy. But contrary to you, I have always focused on Su-metal. It wasn't until the performance of Metali that I realized I had forgotten to watch Moa or Momo or KAMI BAND. I believe that the three girls and KAMI BAND all have different charms and attract different fans. That's one of the reasons why their fan base is so wide. Thanks for your great video.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience, and glad to overall "adventure" was a positive one! I am sure Moa will be in touch son to confirm your newfound bond! Also waiting for your Bloodywood/Babymetal reaction!
Glad you got to see them, your review of Shanti Shanti Shanti remains one of my favorite reactions, the analysis of the dancing was, of course, very enlightening.
@@xiaouirisI already commented like two or three times on that video, but you introduced me to Bloodywood, and I couldn’t be more thankful! And now, with the two of them collaborating, I would LOVE to see your reaction, though there won’t be much of a choreo to analyze 😅. But thank you again SO MUCH for introducing me to Bloodywood!
That was wonderful! I'm so happy you got to not only see them, but that you were able to enjoy them and even got personal interactions with Moa and Momo. Few things I wanted to point out. First, you mentioned Moa doing the popping thing. Don't think for a minute she just decided to do that. I'd bet you chocolate that that was a little shout-out to you. I'd bet she recognized you and knew you've mentioned the popping thing in the past. That's why she did her little, adorable, half-smile that she did before doing the popping. Second, you mentioned that you think that Mikio isn't the only one creating the choreo anymore. I think you're correct, and I THINK I remember reading or hearing somewhere that Moa helps with the creation of the choreo. Another thing I personally think (no proof, just personal thought based on the fact that Yui is still listed as part of the Amuse team), is that Yui is also helping with the choreo creation in the background. I could be totally wrong about that though. There is no mention of that happening anywhere or anything. It's just a thought of mine. I agree with you about Momo still kind of "switching" between being serious and just falling into the moment and having fun. I think Momo is still.... not nervous, but still trying to find her new comfort zone based on her role in Babymetal. While I feel she feels 100% comfortable around the girls, I think she still feels a little intimidated somewhat based on the fact that she's both the youngest member, and the newest member. As for her hair, yes you are 100% correct. Her hair IS actually QUITE different from how Yui and how Moa has their hair done. I've mentioned it in other reactor channel comments before too. I've wondered about that for a while. I'm not sure if it's because Momo still somewhat feels like an avenger (her hair is the same as when she was an avenger with the exception that instead of buns, now she has the pigtails where the buns used to be, but the back of her hair is down as you mentioned, just like it was when she was an avenger), if it's her way of remember her roots as an avenger, or if it's Koba's hierarchy style since Su could be considered the leader of the group and has a ponytail. Yui and Moa were just below Su in rank and thus had pigtails. The avengers were below Moa and Yui and thus had buns in stead of pigtails. So maybe her current hairstyle is sort of a halfway to Moa's "level", but higher than an avenger. I guess only the fox god knows. Another thing you might not have noticed is that the costumes are slightly different too. Su's outfit is slightly different from Moa's and Momo's. I haven't been able to take a real good look at Momo's vs Moa's, but normally, Yui and Moa had identical outfits with Su's being slightly different. Then when Yui left and it was Su, Moa, and an avenger, they all had slightly different outfits again. So I always thought that was rather interesting. The amount of time and detail the designers would put into making the outfits subtlety different is astounding to me. Lastly, I don't think you should get in trouble for pointing out that back in Yui times, the choreo was slightly off from each other. It was very well known that one of the girls was slightly "faster" than the other and would begin moves just a little ahead of the other, UNLESS they were looking at each other, then they typically got their choreo perfectly in sync. Most fans would totally agree with you also about Su being... clumsy, or awkward in her own body back in her Sakura Gakuin days. But you know what? That was what made SU Kawaii and adorable. Even though I don't think she meant it lol Su always tried to be the mature one, ESPECIALLY around Yui and Moa. She tried to act like their older sister, so it was adorable seeing her "flailing" when she danced lol She HAS matured a great deal, and I think that is part of what has made many fans so proud of Su. We're all very proud of the girls in general, for different reasons. But we're generally so proud of the girls for getting so popular and making such a huge name for themselves to the point that they have huge names like Rob Zombie, Lady Gaga, KoRn, Slipknot, and many others having nothing but praise for the girls. And now you got to witness why these girls are so special. It makes me happy that you had such a great day. It turned around a rather bad day, and made it much better seeing how much you enjoyed a concert you were only half excited about! :)
i like watching your reaction to going to see Babymetal finally. i saw them in 2019 at The Forum in LA and there the merch didn't kept up with the fans demands. they ran out of a lot of stuff. but one point i saw was that so many different ages, sexes, races were there. i get that you watched the choreography more because of what you do but now you can see that live the choreo is just right. even at a small venue the whole group is 100% all the time. the band, the girls, the presentation, the music, the lighting, everything is great. an hour and 10 minutes goes by so fast. the energy the girls have is unbelievable. and like you said also, Su's voice is on another level live. she has a voice unlike any other singer out there. when you see them live you also understand why they are better live than in video or audio. Koba had a great idea of Babymetal back around 2009 when he heard Su for the first time. glad you loved it. now you are even more hooked now. haha
Yo yo yo yo! Aldo Metal in da house!!! 😂 I'm so happy I got to meet you, and even happier that you enjoyed yourself. The community is why I keep going again and again. Although, it is getting to be a bit expensive, it becomes an addiction that's hard to break. What a community, right? I'm pretty sure we'll see at the next one😂.
Time Wave! that was rare👏👏 congrats🤘Every shows are different, that's why we keep on going to see them😆 The newest are their best. Btw, there are no crowd surfers in their Japan shows.
Excellent review, thanks ... and I'm so glad you had a great time and can see why everybody keeps going back again and again (when they can) to see BABYMETAL live - good job your husband for making sure you got the full experience.🦊 All three girls have so much presence but they are still having fun, enjoying what they do, messing with each other and interacting with as many of the crowd as they can (and yes, that was in Gimme Chocolate when you and Moa had your connection) I think you are quite within your rights to say about how much dealing with crowd surfers coming over your head from behind and having to pay attention to them rather than what is happening on stage can take away from your own enjoyment.
THANKYOU Grington! You reminded me about the crowd surfing! I made one of my walls of text, and then forgot to mention that!!! So I agree the crowd surfing thing can be annoying. HOWEVER when I went to the concert that Babymetal performed in Vancouver, BC, I WAS touched by something I saw there. There was a man in a wheelchair that was stuck near the back of the crowd and couldn't really see much because he was in a wheelchair. The Vancouver Venue was also a small and rather intimate setting, probably much like what you said your venue was like. The thing that touched me was the people lifted the guy up while he was in his wheelchair and crowdsurfed him the front so he COULD enjoy the concert. That was one of the nicest things I had ever seen a crowd do at a concert and I'll never forget that moment. Aside from that though I totally agree about the crowdsurfing thing.
The Legend-43 Blue ray has dolby atmos on the sound - you really get the concert experience - the sound recording was wild and babymetal hits you from every direction. Will be going to London O2 in May with my disable daughter (will be seated).
Thank you for your extended Babymetal live review. :-) This is great to see, we've all followed you on your journey and you had the full experience, the community aspect and some of the customs which came over from Japan. I think the fan merch and respect for others and the artists privacy, etc. are aspects which come from Japan. We used to call the music playing before Babymetal the 'Kobametal playlist', often these are all influences of Babymetal's music. Bloodywood was also part of the playlist in recent years and now they've done a collab. Bloodywood has released an animated MV, but has no choreography because of it and Bloodywood has actually performed it live, but no Babymetal, so again no choreography. So that's a bit unfortunate for this channel. Also great to see you now know what moves your husband does at home. :-) Some fans complain: it's just an hour ! And I always wonder if they are moving around as much as some of us crazy people, but maybe they have just more stamina. The triangle formation is really something that works for Babymetal (and Perfume I'm sure, I'm less deep into them) and when Yuimetal could not perform anymore, it broke this dynamic. Especially in the first tour legs, this was the time Moametal often was in the front of Su-metal instead of her side and this means they couldn't look at each other and as this was a strange time, having a sort of mental support would really help. I recently re-read an interview from that time period and Moametal said she understood Su-metal in a way has a more 'lonely' job to do. So it's clear they feel this connection on stage very strongly. And even in the 'Avenger era' the disconnect is still there in some sense, having had a break after their 10 years of performing and a new triangle really energized Babymetal into this tight knit group again. Great to see your ethousiasm for Time Wave and really special got to see that one. :-) It has been performed 17 times now in 2 years, not a lot for Babymetal, they did almost 100 shows last year and an other 50+ this year. A good number of reactions you did are also the first time they've performed a song live ever and they keep improving it and sometimes even tweaking it. All the way back in early Sakura Gakuin I think they did after every show a sit down and talk about everything that went right and wrong and how to improve, I get the impression from interviews, they might still do that. Probably over dinner after the show. If they still do that every performance that's a form of professionalism, hats off. But as you mentioned Headbanger, what they do now is a full body headbanging is a fairly new development, last 3 years or so. And it's a great way to do crowd interaction too. The crowd interaction, I feel is from idol culture ? I'm amazed at how they incorporate it with their choreography and how they can find the 'gaps' in the choreography to fit it in. I think the lag, etc. was just something that existed when they were kids (and how busy they were in their late teens, it feels like their was no time to breath like a Babymetal concert), Mikiko has said she also helped them change how to perform because of how their body has changes from kids to grown ups. Did you notice any of the other technical details ? Like how/where they put the markers on the stage ? Or notice if they even pay attention to it. I think they only do it sometimes at the start of a song, they obviously know how much distance they have to keep from the others and do it naturally most of the time. Maybe I'm wrong, but I get the impression there is still a small world of details many Babymetal fans don't see. Babymetal has set faces that go with the choreography, it almost sounds like you said Moametal doesn't adhere to them as much anymore. One of the things Kobametal and Mikiko did specifically is incorporate things the girls did from the very very early days. The best/most famous example is how they hold their pigtails during Headbanger, this was something Mikiko saw Yui and Moa do in the studio when recoring the song and thus got integrated. The song Karata from 2015 is when they spoke the most how they spend hours looking at fight movies/videos, to get ideas on what move and how to incorporate it. Mikiko had the final say, but I like to think Babymetal's ideas also got incorporated in Perfume's song Flash, Su-metal/Suzuka is a huge Perfume fan, so I could see how that would make her happy. Both MVs were released days apart. Like it's left over ideas Mikiko couldn't incorporate in Karate she could use in Flash ? Babymetal live is a bit of an overload of loud music and visuals, it's not possible to see everything. This is something out of the metal culture side of Babymetal I think. And thus I can see how you neglected Su-metal's moves or even watching the other side. Just 1 of them is captivating. I think the best performer of all the ladies when it comes to BxMxC is Avenger Riho. PS From what I hear, their is some kind of overlap, I don't know how big, but Atarashii Gakko has no crowd surfers and supposedly are also amazing live performers. The phone culture in the US is worst country in the world for that if I'm not mistaken, sadly (at least for where Babymetal has been, they've for example never been to China, maybe the culture is different there). I think you would still get that problem at an AG concert.
@@autohmae I saw the markers but it’s mainly a little spacial awareness in regards to moving your different locations in different states so the sizes of stages vary. I could see it was more them focusing on each other to measure where they should stand- Su was their focal point, wherever she stood the other 2 would work out spacing from there (p.s kobametal playlist lol I don’t know why that made me laugh)
@@xiaouiris I can see how they would do it like that, Su-metal as the alignment point, makes sense. Kobametal in a magazine/interview ones posted a list of 50 most influential allbums for Babymetal's/Kobametal's metal music and a lot of those are played before a show, but often these days a bit more updated, so that's where the name kind of came from.
In the past two years, I have seen the progress of Momometal and then I realized that being a BabyMetal Avengers dancer is different from being a BabyMetal official member dancer. After watching this video, I feel that Momometal still has a long way to go. But she doesn't have to be like Moa or Su. So far, each member of BabyMetal has different characteristics. So I'm looking forward to seeing the future of Momometal. Really like your comment.
Long post incoming . . . We saw them in Cincinnati and had VIP first entry tickets. We got there about 20 minutes before the doors opened for the VIPs. We were on the front rail and had to kill two hours before the show started. I didn't mind Scene Queen, but I don't want to go to a concert and have politics from any party or point of view hurled at me from the stage. Maybe that's on me for not researching Scene Queen first and being prepared. That said, she's a good performer with a lot of personality and they did an intermission joke that I thought was funny. The music played between Scene Queen and Babymetal was fun since a lot of it was stuff people were singing along with the songs just like you said. I was on Momo's side as well. I have her on video waving to me and my wife screaming like a teenager. Moa spent a lot of time on our side, too. Su was mainly in the middle of the stage and only came over to either side of the stage a few times. I think their time to breathe is between songs with, as you said, the breaks for when the Kami Band plays. After "Megitsune," one of the security people asked me what song it was. The girls are beautiful and, again like you said, _really_ seemed to enjoy performing. I'm not a good judge of choreography, but everything seemed fine to me. I didn't see any shenanigans with Su's mic during the intro to RoR, but I was more focused on Su dividing the crowd. I *_hate_* the crowd surfers. I always have, and it's for the same reasons you mentioned. You are definitely not just speaking for yourself. One of the side effects of that was when I would get out of the way for the surfers, other people would try to take my spot on the rail. I had to elbow people out of the way. Another guy who probably outweighed me by 100 pounds got in between my wife and I during "Metali." He took turns leaning on both of us way too much until security finally helped us out and told him to get back. Our hoodies were coated with his sweat, so that was gross and we showered and did laundry once we got home. I can understand wanting to be on the rail and all, but damn, the entitlement and lack of consideration of some people was sad. A mother and daughter ended up next to us near the end and they were nice, so we made room for them since they were so short (I'm 6' 1" and my wife is 5' 8"). All that said, I'd happily go see them again.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu I love after all that (and me thinking this sounds like such an awful experience) you saying you’ll gladly see them again made me burst out laughing! I feel you!
Pro Tip: For those who love the music and hate the boisterous crowd, buy seated tickets for the show - it’s sooo much better than dealing with getting squashed and getting kicks to the head by crowd surfers. A good pair of binoculars are essential to watching the performance from a distance.
What a great reaction. So obviously real & such fun to see you suddenly re-live parts. I love that the fans give each other little presents. There have been quite a few clips of the americas tour showing the girls laughing with each other and playing about, Moa always does something on RoR when Su comes for the mic, we're all just waiting for the day when they miss the start. I can see why people do multi concerts, they seem so into having a good time with the fans. Loved your reaction to Momo's 1st Babymetal death cheer & your fan girling for Moa....poor Su! Smiled the whole way thru, as an agoraphobic (leaving house maybe 4 times a week for short period) i appreciate being able to experience the concert thru others. (never liked idea of crowd surfers)
The girls for cardio & voice control train on a treadmill while going through the set. They're literally performing machines. Same energy every night, always trying to give everyone they see/make eye contact with a personal interaction/memory like we're in this together kind of vibe & the more hype the crowd they always find another gear. They call US The One & they mean it. They're just amazing young women.
That was a great review. It was interesting listening to your experiences throughout the show. I'm sure I could never last all the way from 6:00 AM. That would kill me. When you mentioned Moa doing the popping thing, it's almost like she watched your past reactions. You frequently talked about how they should do that so she's like, 'I'll show her I can do that'. :)
🍑 ⚡ 💕 Great review. And you definitely married the right guy. : ) I saw the first Anaheim show. The year I was also lucky enough to see both of the LEGEND MM concerts in Yokohama.
I'm so glad you got to see them. Thanks for sharing the experience with us. It may sound silly but I consider this a win for us... and a way to remember my own experiences. Of course you want to see them again... hahaha... Welcome to the club! 😁 About crowdsurfers... I know they are annoying (specially when you are not participating in the pit) but it's a cultural thing on metal concerts. Believe me, I've seen way worse. I can't wait to see them again. 🤘🦊
So very happy you got to see them and experience it. Also really happy that your husband is a big BM AND SG fan! As an SG fan, I know EXACTLY how your husband feels. Not only that he was seeing Babymetal, he's also seeing a part of SG, which unfortunately is no more. So to see them live brings a certain level of joy and happiness that is right up there with idoling. When I went to see BM, I sat in the mezanine level at a small venue, I bought my SG flag with me and I waved it every time I got a chance when the girls weren't actively doing choreo. I got a heart from Momoko. I was so happy and it's a memory I will treasure. It has been said that Moa will acknowledge females and SG fans every time she gets a chance. The girls are lovely inside and outside. And it's something you will never forget. Edited: Kpop artists Aespa and Babynonster are also coming to the states soon. I hope you can do a reaction to one of Aespa's songs like Whiplash, or Supernova. The dance routines are pretty cool. I really like the choreo. Edit #2: In regards to Mikiko's input, usually Mikiko gives them the primary dance moves, and the girls themselves apply their own techniques to the final choreo. It's what happens with 14 years of experience! Moa has said that Momoko brought in her own dance techniques and they happily incorporated them too. After all, Momoko (along with Kano) were among the very best dancers in SG. Even now, in OneFive, all of the members acknowledged that Kano was the best dancer of the four.
@@xiaouiris I just found out that some people in the SG subreddit know your husband. What a wonderful world SG is! The subject came up because I posted a link to your video in there. Kitsunes up!!!!
Great review. Now you know why we are like we are as fans . i am not a big fan of crowd surfing. One landed right on top of my head at the Roundhouse 😮 you look so happy talking about the show and your new life. Congratulations and all the best for your future 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I made some BABYMETAL Figures. Showed some of the fans in line at the show on the 5th in Anaheim. I posted them on reddit too. I didn't bring them to the show because I knew I wasn't getting barrier and was afraid they would break. Hopefully I can give them to crew members or something next time. I got one of those bracelets you showed and I saw some of the VIP regulars with those cards you have. I had VIP in Vegas last year. We didn't get the Beenie. Got a little flag instead to swing around for Pa Pa Ya. The phone thing is annoying as well. I had peoples phones in my ear. on top on my head. Everyone was short around me so whoever was behind me was holding their phone over my head probably on their tippy toes and just get bouncing off the top of my head. I only noticed 1 crowd surfer the entire night on the 5th. I and a few others were hoping we would get IDZ as one extra encore song like they did in the last show in Los Angeles last year. But nope! Bummer. Moa made Su chase her around the stage for the mic :) Also how funny! I know your husband I invited him to the show on the 5th but he said he could only go on the 4th. I met Cobey at the UA-cam theater last year. 🤘🦊🤘
@@xiaouiris My internet too a crap as I was replying. I edited my comment like 5 times as I was watching this. Too funny that I know Cobey. When you said Cobey I was like, hey wait a minute! Oh and thanks! Working on more! 🤘🦊🤘
I wasn't going to watch 34 minutes of it but I did, this was such a fun review... Your hair was perfect for a metal concert. Crowd surfing is absolutely something that you can expect in a BABYMETAL concert if you are in the middle front during the last song. Next time you could try it yourself! (Or watch out for clues from the security, most often they are pointing their fingers when someone's coming.)
Nice review. I'm not too crazy about crowd surfers either. I went to the ABQ show, also. You were ahead of me in the VIP line I guess. Too bad I didn't see you, I would have said hi. I didn't go early at all though, only about 30 or 40 minutes before VIP was supposed to go in. I don't like standing around for hours, even if there are people to chat with. The show was a lot of fun.
So glad you enjoyed your first Babymetal concert! If someone had told me after my first time that I'll end up seeing them 8 times more, I wouldn't have believed it.
@ same! I’ve watched a number of your vids, and had no idea you were even in the US! 🤣 I can’t handle the rail anymore- I’m too old- we ended up way in the back. Told the wife that if they came skipping out yelling “Hai! Hai! Hai!”, the entire audience would lose their mind, including her husband!
@@xiaouiris Oh, and welcome to the US! The wife is much younger than me, and would have totally dug hanging out with you and headbanging. She cracked me up, because she made a point of wearing a slinky dress she found (which looks amazing on her!), and then wore her full length coat the whole concert! :)
You skipped Distortion, Da Da Dance, Monochrome and Megitsune 🤣 Glad you had a lot of fun! 😄 Ps: the BM card you received is a YuGiOh card, not a D&D 😃
Nice review! I can relate to your experience, although my "awakening" was last year, and I didn´t see them this year. But I will see them next year, in Hamburg, Germany 😄These three ladies put on a hell of a show, wherever they are! Sometimes I get the impression, that Moa really notices EVERYTHING that is going on in the crowd. I don´t know how she´s doing it, but obviously she has a lot of cognitive capacity left while she´s dancing. Amazing!
*Glad you had a good time and enjoyed yourself! You have a very good Channel by the way and you explain things very thoroughly! My experience not so great! I went to see Baby metal in Connecticut on September 9th 2023. The opening act was horrendous! They went by the name of Death Clock spelling? And they were loud boisterous in the inconsiderate as well as very sexualized images up on their stupid video screen that simulated all kinds of inappropriate stuff. Not a show for parents bringing their young daughters or Sons. Also the light show was out of control for both Acts both death clock and babymetal. They use a strobe light type light that was been outlawed for over 20 years that causes epileptic seizures in people. The baby middle performance itself was excellent but if you're a show like they have in Japan with a big giant stage forget it Also a little disappointed Babymetal only played 58 minutes. I don't know why their shows that show is so short where you have bands that are in their 80s like the Rolling Stones that do 2 hour shows without even taking a break. All in all my experience was positive except for the opening act the strobe lights and the stupid giant video screen Death Clock used. They were definitely the wrong opening act for Babymetal. Have a great day keep up the good work!*
@@AlizeeDefan oh wow only 58 minutes!? That’s a shame- and I’m sorry by you had such a bad experience with death clock :( I’m glad you enjoy my channel! 🌸
@@xiaouiris ooooooh I belive you :D I am suuuuuuper hyped for it. Gonna let you know how it went when it happend btw I am super happy that I was lucky to watch Blackpink back in 2022 in Cologne Germany. One of my most favorit KPOP bands.
@@xiaouiris it was soooo amazing and Lisa, Jennie Rosie and Jisoo looked soooo stunning in their outfits. They changed their outfits a lot in and all looked amazing. when they gonna do their 2025 World Tour I am sure at hell that I gonna go to their concert again and to the Babymonster concert too
Awesome review! I had the pleasure of seeing Babymetal live a few weeks ago in DC as well, and it was equally amazing! My feet were hurtin' by the start of the show as well, but the moment Babymetal got on stage, it turned into a blur of euphoria. Their on-stage chemistry has been amazing recently as well! Moa's been pranking Su's mic during Road of Resistance so much at various shows, it's absolutely hilarious! 🤣 🤘🦊
Wow, thanks for sharing. I have never been to one of their shows so I am really grateful to hear what goes on. Im so glad you had a little thing with Moa. Is she on your list ? You get 5 you know! Anyway it sounded like a lot of fun and You seem to have picked a the right guy. God Bless and thanks for sharing. At some points it felt like you were in my living room telling me about it I was smiling and nodding my head. I almost offered you some coffee! thanks again
You were in the same spot I was in last week! Well, I was second row (and yes, that ramp was the bane of my existence for a few hours). The music they played before the girls came on def got us more hyped than the opener. The whole crowd knew all the words to all the songs. The girls do look soo small in person. The pressure not to disappoint them is so real. XD I literally trained in the weeks before so I'd be able to wave my towel during the whole song. :p I'm disabled, so I was hurting so badly before the girls came on because I'd been standing there for hours, but the moment they came in it was like, "What is pain? Never met her.' When Momo tells you to headbang, you headbang. When Moa tells you to get low, you get low. When Su tells you to jump, by glob, you jump. And I did. Feet left the ground. I felt bad for not paying as much attention to Su, but it's hard when Moa and Momo are RIGHT THERE (and they were so in sync weren't they??). I had my hair in dog ears and I made some big gauzy red and black bows like they wore when they were younger, and Moa noticed and gave me the biggest smile and thumbs up. She also handed Su's mic to the guitar player and seemed to tell him he should sing. And he pretended to for a second. It was really cute. Momo made Su laugh *while* she was singing. They had so much fun on stage. Thankfully, we had no crowd surfers. They told us before the show started it was NOT allowed, and if it happened, you got ejected. Sorry. XD You probably didn't want a second almost identical break down of the same show in your comments, but it's so exciting knowing someone else understands exactly what you just experienced. For years I've said if I could get a smile from Moa I could die happy, but I never expected to be able to see them live, much less be close enough for Senpai to notice me, but it def happened, and in a big way, and I think it was one of the best nights of my life and I can indeed die happy now. XD 🤘🦊🤘
Well done for not taking your phone. Those who go there just to get a phone video probably don’t realise the disrespect they are showing the girls. In Japan , you won’t see that happening.
Am I the only one who missed it, or have you kept it from us that your husband is such a huge fan? Tsk tsk... Now I wonder how it has taken you so long to join him... Seeing the girls only a few meters away from you feels a little surreal, doesn't it? My respect for them increases every time I see them, especially with regard to the physical workout. Granted, I'm about double their age and always do my best to stay clear from any form of Physical exercise, but last time I was at their show, I was pretty much done for after the first three songs, and I certainly didn't move as much as they did. No idea how they do it... Regarding the crowd surfers, I'm a little torn. On one hand, they are part of the charm of a Metal concert, on the other hand, as you said, they are little bit of a PITA. Personally, I usually stand a bit to the side, because I'm pretty tall and thus try to avoid obstructing the view in the middle, so they don't bother me that much. They are mostly restricted to the center, from my experience. But that only means that I leave the work and pain to others...
Crowd-surfers are the bane of existence at a BM show. I hated them at LTL last year, especially since I couldn't support weight on my right arm due to a misaligned collarbone.
Glad you had a great time, and I 100% agree about the crowd surfers. I could never do it - would be too worried about getting dropped and making other people hold me up the whole time. And besides that, it can just be straight-up dangerous for the surfers and the crowd, way more than moshing. /soapbox
Very nice report. Yes, it is. They always place the girls in an inverted triangle on stage so that Su is hidden behind Moa or Momo. And Su's vocals get backgrounded with the band. So, Moa and Momo's dance is always the most memorable part of the show. And that reminds me, they always call themselves we are Metal Dance Unit. Also, that there are many Babymetal Reactors on UA-cam, but rarely Coriograph Reactors. moa has always been a very meticulous and observant woman. So I believe that Moa always always makes sure to watch your channel and found you in the audience!
I'm 100% with you on the crowd surfing thing. They're a pestiferous nuisance and completely selfish. After you've been kicked around the ear for about the tenth time you just feel like dropping them or something.

I’m so glad you got to experience BABYMETAL live! ❤

@@TheHomelessDreamer it’s my best reaction!
@ that’s ok, I will react because lots of people have asked. I’ve heard the song and think I can give a little cultural insight
They are tiny, but mighty! (Su: 5' 2", Momo: 5' 3", Moa: 5' 0')
Moa is Smoll 😊 🤘
@ Small, but mighty!
@@jeremyboynowski3784 this was great, thanks for taking the time to say all this. Interesting thoughts about yui being in the background!
I'm so glad you enjoyed your BABYMETAL experience. I love watching your reactions too. I like how you explain about the dance movements.
i like watching your reaction to going to see Babymetal finally. i saw them in 2019 at The Forum in LA and there the merch didn't kept up with the fans demands. they ran out of a lot of stuff. but one point i saw was that so many different ages, sexes, races were there. i get that you watched the choreography more because of what you do but now you can see that live the choreo is just right. even at a small venue the whole group is 100% all the time. the band, the girls, the presentation, the music, the lighting, everything is great. an hour and 10 minutes goes by so fast. the energy the girls have is unbelievable. and like you said also, Su's voice is on another level live. she has a voice unlike any other singer out there. when you see them live you also understand why they are better live than in video or audio. Koba had a great idea of Babymetal back around 2009 when he heard Su for the first time. glad you loved it. now you are even more hooked now. haha

Excellent review, thanks ... and I'm so glad you had a great time and can see why everybody keeps going back again and again (when they can) to see BABYMETAL live - good job your husband for making sure you got the full experience.🦊
All three girls have so much presence but they are still having fun, enjoying what they do, messing with each other and interacting with as many of the crowd as they can (and yes, that was in Gimme Chocolate when you and Moa had your connection)
I think you are quite within your rights to say about how much dealing with crowd surfers coming over your head from behind and having to pay attention to them rather than what is happening on stage can take away from your own enjoyment.

Thank you for the review, I am very excited to hear it.
Btw those babymetal stuff are so cool.
Thank you for your extended Babymetal live review. :-)
This is great to see, we've all followed you on your journey and you had the full experience, the community aspect and some of the customs which came over from Japan.
Some fans complain: it's just an hour !

Went to the Hollywood FL concert 2nd of the US tour, Time Wave was a fun surprise.
Oh wow i didn't know about that! Congratulations to both of you!
I usually stick to seated seats for comfort! 🎉

Amazing!
@Wolfpack94487 she does! She’s super interactive! Have fun in Germany next year!!

The baby middle performance itself was excellent but if you're a show like they have in Japan with a big giant stage forget it
Also a little disappointed Babymetal only played 58 minutes.

when they gonna do their 2025 World Tour I am sure at hell that I gonna go to their concert again and to the Babymonster concert too
@ how close were you to the stage?
I so love your voice!
Why thank you!

@@jlrinc1420 I had so much fun filming this- I was rambling on like I was talking to yall in person! Moa is defo in my top 5!
XD 🤘🦊🤘
Literally- whatever the girls tell you to do, you do!!
22:53 I completely agree with this point, it's not fair
@@kirariniwa3948 right!!!
Yes Rose of Resistance is their normal closer
I get why you’re torn about the crowd surfers, it’s definitely that live metal show environment!
Who knows? Maybe Moa watches your videos 🙂
@@technosworld2 😱🤯
Crowd-surfers are the bane of existence at a BM show. I hated them at LTL last year, especially since I couldn't support weight on my right arm due to a misaligned collarbone.
@@AxeSwipe2011 oh gosh!
Glad you had a great time, and I 100% agree about the crowd surfers. I could never do it - would be too worried about getting dropped and making other people hold me up the whole time. And besides that, it can just be straight-up dangerous for the surfers and the crowd, way more than moshing. /soapbox
@@silly_programme5061 you’re in my comments! I feel honoured
@@xiaouiris I am also in your walls
@ stop whispering it’s creepy
Yeah the Crowd Surfers are always insufferable. They are never fun and those who do it are clowns and are selfish jerks.
@@BabystarNoodle ahhhhh I wouldn’t believe it if she recognised me!!
I'm 100% with you on the crowd surfing thing. They're a pestiferous nuisance and completely selfish. After you've been kicked around the ear for about the tenth time you just feel like dropping them or something.
