    The kids know more than me, and I'm a pilot. hehe! It's always so fun to meet people such as them who are so excited about it. Hat's off to the FO for taking the time to let them do this! If that's not inspiring the next generation, nothing is. Great video. Made me smile all the way through! Thanks for posting.

    You should do that again and do the captain's flows. They are usually very nice. It's a pretty long flow and you get to hit almost every button lol

      Hm ok that would be nice, thanks for the advice. Some airlines have different Captain flows, although they are generally the same. At the time of the visit, there was only the FO on the flight deck, so we still got way more than what we asked for.

      Do I go to the pilots and say can I do a captains flow?

    • @SSAviation737
      @SSAviation737 Рік тому

      @@clutchtucker Well, I guess it could depend on the captain, and also depends on how early you get to the airplane. If the captain is finished with the flow, they might say that they are finished with the flow or smth like that.

    No pump required to run the APU

    • @SSAviation737
      @SSAviation737 9 місяців тому

      No but airlines recommend it. As for Southwest, they require their FOs to turn on a fuel pump for the APU, then the CA turns on all the pumps during his preflight.

    kid, imma be frank with you... if someone were to pull a circuit breaker because the sound of that instrument "got on your nerves", you would no longer be employed at that company. And you would probably we looking at certificate action taken against you by the FAA since the standby altimeter is 100% required for IFR flight.
