It's not a bad show but it really feels like a show for boomers who are rarely on the internet just a much worse version of tosh.o except Daniel tosh was the highlight because he's actually funny Rob dyrdak isn't at all

I miss the culture of old TV back in the 2000s - early 2010s. So much diversity in shows and the commercials, then everything went downhill after like 2014.

And the 90's and 80's were treasure troves of excellent movies and shows. When I look at the state of television today I can't believe how far it's fallen in so little time.

I hold Ridiculousness in a special place in my heart because I used to watch it all the time with my brother in hotels. Times were hard for us back then and somehow this stupid show kept us sane. 🙂

Until the day, when CocoMelon call it quits. Educational videos and songs with repetitive lyrics has a limited timeframe. Kids tend to listen and watch other non-educational content or something pre-existing. Physical books, games and Sesame Street will still get a high(er) viewing numbers.
Cartoon network know kids dont watch them so now they putting classics on to beg us to come back 😂

Funny enough, this used to be my favorite show when I was a teen. Before I owned a phone or computer. Then I discovered Markiplier.
Ridiculousness is an amazing show, but MTV hasn't been the same network like it was years ago. It's just MTV's lack of content, which is why the same thing is being aired every single day. Where's the music videos it used to have, Beavis and Butthead, Fear Factor, and Everybody Hates Chris. TV has now gone to 💩, I honestly stopped watching TV since I was 16, and all I watched all day was Netflix.

Visiting my parents' house and watching cable nowadays is like seeing a really old relative with multiple health issues. Part of you just wants them to die already so they don't have to suffer anymore

Brother, i grew up in the 80's and we would RUN home after school to watch MTV. Yo! MTV raps, 120 minutes, Liquid television, even the first few 'The Real World' runs were peak TV at the time & it was glorious! If i could run it how it used to run? I'd give millions to do it.
Mannnn it was the early 2000’s and late 90s for me the competitiveness of networks and attempt at creativity was truly amazing and IMO the best era for media. unfortunately those days are gone, but man I at least want them to try to be good😩

I hear you! I'm older, so i saw the breakdown around the end of TRL. After that, Mtv just gave up. Then VH1 followed soon after (The worst of the 2). Anime filled the gap very well thanks to Cartoon Network and Myspace.@@WesSideLive

One time my mom bought this brand of orange juice and I told her how much I loved it the first three times, she then proceeded to buy it on such a regular basis that I came to hate it, television seems to be doing the same thing rn with their shows

I’m not a gamer but I miss flicking through the channels late at night and seeing G4.

Mtv was still cool in '08-'09, i would come back from school to listen to music when i was a kid. But i still remember when it went to shit, as soon as the OG Jersey Shore ended, they started airing awful shit trynna fill it's place. In 2011 it was too late, ridiculousness, catfish, geordie shore, YT'bers were getting popular, they wouldn't play music anymore, all of that 24/7.

I think TV networks know that most of their customers are just businesses like barber shops and hospitals who pay for cable so people can watch while waiting in waiting rooms.

You know I only reason I used to watch mtv it’s because of ridiculousness, beavis and butthead, celebrity deathmatch, Daria and some other and including the music videos
As of today ESPN started streaming the pat mcafee show on their network. Also they’re I’ll be showing their fantasy Kiev stream which is daily on UA-cam on there in linear. This might be the new trend, I think MTV could do this as well since they aren’t as censored as ESPN/Disney then they could get other podcasts and show them on there.
We got rid of TV earlier this year... every year, more channels like those start dying too, and the few good channels get taken off our DirectTV deal, and we could anly get back if we bought a newer, more expensive deal, and by the end, the rare times I was turning the TV on, it was to watch old, good stuff, I had recorded, literally close to ten years ago.
Now I just buy DVD's of the shows and movies I want.
