Wrong way in Time Trial. Glitch, Hack??

This guy was at the top of Group B when I first found this. I tried racing his ghost when I found that there wasn't a ghost. Then I looked in the rearview mirror and saw him going the wrong way. Then I watched his replay and... watch it for yourself.
