Thx u for the video. I’m new to pressure washing. I wa t to do driveways with the xjet. I’m running a Honda gx690 at 8gpm. Does this mean I need to get the xjet at that gpm? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Subbed :) im just starting out with a 11 litre per minute machine, no FSC yet and don't know chemicals yet so this helps to advance from whwre i am now. Thanks 👍
Welcome aboard! Only chemical you need to start is SH (bleach). 1-2% for siding and vinyl. 2-4% for concrete and brick. 5-6% for tile and shingle roof. Hope that helps ! Best of luck with everything and thank you so much for watching💯🙏🏼
Thanks for the positive feedback! 🙏🏼 If you’re struggling with leads I would recommend you check out my second video where I explain how I got my first 100 customers. If you need any advice im always here. Thank you for watching! 💯🤝
Exactly what @rubbertears1328 said! Always try to minimize how much overspray you get into the pool of course but as long as you dont go overboard it should be fine. Thank you guys for watching 💯🤝🙏🏼
Awesome video. We found it best to consult the home owner to schedule the pool maintenance service to closely follow wash services for deck or cage cleaning. We also advise to refrain from using the pool until after the pool guys clears the pool for use. Some SH or debris may enter the pool despite your best effort, but if you set expectations and communicate clear advice, the homeowners will appreciate the honesty and professionalism.
Thank you for watching! 🙏 You can buy the extension tubing in home depot or any pressure washing store, you can also check out doug rucker store online, thats where I got mine from, hope that helps :)
I just started my business up. Quick question with the x-jet. You only need to connect the 3/8 pressure house to the water inlet on the pressure washer, and connect the x jet to a 5 gallon bucket and your gun so it can pull the chem. Do I need a garden hose? I see so many people say to get one ontop of my pressure hose but what is the point? The second and final question is obviously depending on the material your cleaning, it depends on the total usage of percent mix. For example house siding is typically 1-2% mix. If you fill your entire 5 gallon bucket and now you have a mixture of 2% what if you need to clean brick or do a roof wash, would you have to dump the old batch and make a new batch since it requires a stronger percent mix? This the same thing for needing less as well? For example the other way around, you do a roof first and get a 6% mix and now have to do house siding and need a 2% mix. You would just dump whatever is in the gallon and make a new batch? If you can answer my question that would be greatly appreciated!
If im understanding your first question correctly then yes you need a garden hose to feed water to your pressure washer. X-jet comes with different proportioner tips. Use those and adjust the ratio by changing the tips 👍
Great videos, the only thing I noticed is you divide by 3 with a 1:3 ratio. You should divide by the total parts of both ingredients so divide by 4. Ex: 1:8 divide by 9. 👍
Downstreamed degreaser 15:1 from harbor freight gallon ($11), used less than half a gallon of degreaser for gas station, came out great. So much for high $ degreasers. Hope this helps
I'd recommend checking out my other video where I share some valuable insights on building your own truck rig. It might provide some useful tips for your setup! Best of luck and thanks for watching!🙏🏼💯
Im running a 4gpm eagle pressure pro 2. If you have more questions check out my first video on the channel where I break down my whole set up 😁 hope that helps!
Hey do you know what side the check valve is for the downstream injector. I sound the adaptor on ebay and I know the stainless check valves alone are like 25 bucks so i wanted to save the 100 dollars for the premade one
Nice video! When using the pump sprayer, you ever had the SH mix dry up too quickly from the sun? I know ur supposed to let it sit for 10-15 min but it evaporates in like seconds for me. Sometimes I do straight SH and it still evaporates. Do you have this issue with the chemical injector/x jet?
I have heard due to warmer weather for example, the s/h can dry a lot quicker. I have read on several forums that pre-wetting the surface to cool it (driveway or house exterior) can help reduce the rapid evaporation
Question I’m New to this I bought a 20” surface cleaner with wheels But I noticed some UA-cam channels have surface cleaners without wheels 🤷🏾♂️ Arriving now, my Question is wouldn’t it be easier for the professional cleaner’s to use surface cleaners with wheels ? What is the advantage of having a surface cleaner without wheels?
I’ve wondered this myself and don’t understand why buying a large surface cleaner without wheels, even moving it will be a hassle. I’ve always bought with wheels but I’m curious to hugest a professional’s view on this as well.
Some people prefer wheels, and some don’t-it really comes down to personal preference. Wheels can make maneuvering easier and reduce strain on your shoulders. I use without. Never used one with wheels, but I imagine the only downside would be the need for maintenance and occasional replacement. Thank you guys for watching 🙏🏼💯
nice video, i have a couple questions. does increasing the hose length of your x-jet cause lower pull rate? i heard someone say it does so i never bothered to buy a longer one. same thing but for the downstream, does longer hose length cause less pull from the chemical? having it only 1%, I wouldnt want it any lower than that. Thanks
I've heard that as well, but I haven't personally noticed a difference between a 50-foot hose and a 15-foot hose. The X-Jet still works great, and so does the chemical injector. As long as you don't exceed a 100-foot hose for your X-Jet and 5 ft for your injector, you should be fine. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼💯
Do you recommend sh for pretty much every single part of cleaning? Roof, siding, cement, etc. And what percentages do you do? I hesrd 5 percent or so for the roof, which is what i will do
I just came across your channel !!great content man , keep it up. Im in Kissimmee area , I would love to meet with you man . I started 4 month ago and its been a real struggle to get jobs .
When it comes to big oil stains make sure you use a strong degreaser. Depending on how long the stain is on there for it will either go away completely or fade a significant amount. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching🙏🏼🤝💯
@@ABSuperiorWash I see. I've seen people use gasoline and oil dry as well but haven't tried it. I have tried the degreaser though and it didnt really do much even when I pressure washed it afterwards
@@myshorts1058Hmm, have you tried scrubbing it with a brush when you apply it? Also, some oil stains might require a second coat depending on the severity. Also make sure to let your clients know expectations. If the oil stain has been there longer than a few weeks, theres a very big chance it will never return to its former look. Oil is just one of those things that permanently stain concrete and they would have to resurface in order for it to look brand new again. 🤝
Bro do we hit the concrete dry or wet? When first applying the chemical and how long do we wait ive seen so many videos about chems but none tells us how to apply and do we wait before using the pressure washer or do we rinse it right off???
I always pre-wet the concrete just before applying the pre-treatment to prevent evaporation on sunny days. Let it dwell for 5-10 minutes, then start surface cleaning 👍 Thank you for watching 🙏🏼💯

Do you worry about spraying near turf ? Do you rinse everything before and after ? Thanks !
Low mixes like this shouldnt cause damage but you could water the turf before and after if you want to be safe
