Hey bro miami guy here. I just bought my first pressure washer 4400 ,,,4.2 gpm..im a solo parent of 3 (no mom involved.. it is what it is) im working part time in AA...also a musician... So i figured let me see if this can help me out.... bro just saw this KILLER video. Wow i felt like was there doing it WITH YOU... Thank you. (AMEN) Since im extremely new. Over the weekend did 3 quick driveways FOR free to see if i like and get some training. I feel i got alot of value from this video. Thank you. I wish you would have explained a couple of things. That i did know.. but still i did learn alot. Thank you for this video. KILLER VIDEO BRO.And yes i just subscribed. God bless 🙌
Lets go brother! Hopefully you'll get some paid gigs soon! It's definitely a good way to make some extra money. I appreciate you supporting the channel and watching the video.
It takes longer than 4 minutes to do the curb and sometimes the client doesn’t want the curb cleaned, so you could possibly tick them off by doing something they didn’t ask for/want. Also when you do enough, we don’t have time to give a free add on for every driveway we clean. Just ask the owner if they wanna add it for $20-$40.
Hey thanks for the content! I would suggest getting hose rings for hooking up to people's houses so you know the seal will be good and won't go everywhere like in the first minute (they cost like a dollar for 8 of them. Great video and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
I like screwing on a quick connect fitting to their house. And if it goes bad, I just toss it and throw a new one on. I do have a huge o-ring kit though. Like 20 bucks for just about anything I'd ever need because o-rings fall out or go bad fairly often. A good o-ring kit is a must-have and I already had a ton of these little supplies as I was a CNC and lathe mechanic for 10 years. I stainless steel quick connect everything to have the least amount of screwing on and off as possible
Can I ask why were you heavily rinsing certain spots on the concrete footpaths cracks and sides in the beginning? Is that a pre rinse or a hot mix? Cool vid thanks.
I like to cut in my corners before I surface clean. Since the surface cleaner cleans in a circular pattern, it makes cleaning certain corners impossible. So I just cut them in ahead of time. Similar to painting and how you would paint the corners and edges first. Just makes the process flow smoother. Thanks for supporting the channel! I plan on uploading more frequently.
I only pretreat if the concrete is really really dirty, majority of the time just a post treat is needed. It’s a DN10 Ball Valve with a Mosmatic Swivel: floridapressurewashingequipment.com/product/dn10-3-8-ball-valve-w-mosmatic-swivel/
Is it 55 minutes from setting up and also tearing down, because I must suck. It takes me 3 hours to pretreat, pressure wash, then post treat a driveway, street curb, walkway and backyard patio for $350.
I think once you find your method you can keep dialing in the time it takes you for each task. I try to time code everything in the video from start to finish. I am using a 8gpm machine so that definitely increases the pace you can walk.
Looks like you lost your fill hose o ring😂 awesome rig tho chief, I just got my first piece of kit, 18" surface cleaner gunna pull the trigger, (pun intended) before long, I wish you continued success and keep up the hard work!
Thanks for supporting the channel! Hopefully you’ll have your rig soon enough! I’m going to do a video here soon on the breakdown of how I built my rig and all the ins and outs. So stay tuned!
Thanks for watching! The machine is 8gpm, and the surface cleaner is a ‘whisper wash 19 inch’ it allows for a nice walking pace. Very rarely does it take more than an hour to do a standard sized driveway. I enjoy answering y’all’s questions so feel free to ask!
So, I thought u put bleach out after pre rinsing and let it dwell before hitting with your surface cleaner, then rinse again and that's it..........but u bleached afterwards ?
If you put an O Ring in your hose connection you won't waste as much of the customer’s water! Don't get your hands dirty you may need to fluff your hair later 🙄
6% on this job, I try and avoid overspray onto the grass and plants as much as possible. If you're ever worried just soak the plants and grass with water after and you'll be fine.
@@MahNameIsJeffyes if you personally pressure wash with chemical always soak the lawn or any plants before applying chemicals. After you are done if you want to you can soak it off again
I use Sodium Hypochlorite, I apply to the concrete as the last process in the service. I rarely rinse the concrete after I usually let it be. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
You don’t need any surfactant to post treat a flat surface, I may have some surfactant in my mix because I don’t have a stand alone surfactant tank. I believe the mix here is a 6%. So 50/50 if you’re getting 12.5% from your supplier.
When I was just starting out I used word of mouth from friends and family. I was pulling a pressure washer out of the trunk of my Acura TL for the first year LOL. I learned pretty early on that the commercial side of the industry was more my vibe. Building your commercial clientele just takes time. 100 No's to get 1 Yes basically. I do remember running one Facebook ad when I first started out in 2019. I think I spent $20 and got a $400 dollar job. Yard signs were always a hit or miss for me. I had some yield me 3 jobs, I had some signs pulled by that afternoon.

Question for anyone who has used chemical on sidewalk, driveway, or anywhere really. I'm sure people who have been doing this long enough have had times where someone is walking their dog or whatever and they decide to attempt walking on the SH or whatever you're using. How do you guys handle this? Most of the time people will obviously go around or cross the street when I have this happen, but every now and then you get those people who just refuse and you have to step in and tell them. I just bought a 1000' roll of caution tape and I know it's legal to block off sections when you're working, but I haven't used it yet. I'm really curious what other people do because I never see this brought up anywhere. There is so much dog walking in my area
There’s only so much you can do. I just try and warn anyone who is about to walk through the area that I just put bleach down. Majority will walk around it, but some people will walk right through. I find the best thing you can do is just give them a heads up.
You must be stupid all company’s use clients water he wasn’t stealing anything from the client those tanks are called buffer tanks they feed into the pressure washer to make sure it gets enough water and the pump dosent burn up
1 unit of water = 100 cubic feet which equals 748 gallons of water. 748. Here in California San Luis Obispo ( which is expensive af) water costs $3.11 per unit. I’m sure if he even used 748 gallons which he isn’t, he could incorporate it into his charge for his service.
For sure, he would ask beforehand, and if the client don't want that then he could charge extra for overhead cost like refilling water from his source and fuel from refueling his car from and to his water source
I like this laidback style of recording the entire job. There’s so much highly edited content online that this is a nice change of pace.

What's in the blue tank (bleach)?
@@jose44441 Yeah I had extra bleach in the blue tank after a big job over the weekend so I was just trying to finish it off.
What was your bleach percentage? Will the runoff kill the plants? What's the post treat?
