This has brought back some fun memories of owning a Nissan 100NX (the UK name), about 10 years ago... Mine had been featured as a staff car in Max Power magazine, so came with a bodykit, Cobra seats, exhaust, lowered springs and a respray over more rust than the Titanic... With the standard 1.6, it was the perfect way to get everyone looking at you at the lights, before you pulled away slower than a slow thing, but still trying to look cool with the targa roof off... I definitely miss mine, even if the failing boot struts almost guillotined me a few times, and the 100NX had a habit of rusting, with the rear suspension forcing itself into the boot eventually...
Love the NX's, I had a stock one years ago, lots of fun but not very nippy at all. Sold it after a year and bought a 2.8 Audi 80 quattro, but miss that 'lil NX now :)
I am super excited about this challenge. I think no matter what, you should have a classic junk in the trunk challenge. Who can get in to the boot and pull a fire extinguisher faster to put out an engine fire. Of course you would not want to spray these beauties. But you could simulate it. And think of the danger associated with these vehicles. That boot could drop on the back of your head at any moment. That is pure death defying drama.
Challenges should be: how do your friends fit in the back seat. How easy is it to go over speed bumps. With friends in the back seat. Go through a drive through and get food and eat it with your friends in the car. How loud is the stereo and does your mom like it.

@@Jordanskiy The Saab was a pain to work with IIRC. No aftermarket parts (overnighting from Sweden is expensive) and every stock component is weird "som fan."
Other than that, it was awesome.
Lets wait and see how much boost that starlet is running first before we judge. It could be anything from about 90hp to about 190hp.
I had one for my first car.. bought some 17in momo sports and cone filter. I hated that car with a passion ha
Love the NX's, I had a stock one years ago, lots of fun but not very nippy at all. Sold it after a year and bought a 2.8 Audi 80 quattro, but miss that 'lil NX now :)
As I watched the last bit I literally shouted straight away "subaruuuu" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I swear. if prices of NX's and Sera's start going up because of this series I am losing my mind.

20:44 Something about this shot makes Moog look like a proper midget
Holy shit ur right hahahah
I really just want to know more about the husaberg that’s been hanging around...
Talk about forbidden fruit
As the owner of a 2002 Husaberg Fe501 I feel it is my duty to inform you that they are called "Hindenbergs" for good reason.
I'm surprised moog doesnt have a 2 stroke
I concur !
Needs more Commodores
I reckon they need to do like Au vs Vx or something of that vintage at some stage
great video had me laughing hard, loved it !. . .cant wait to watch this series , keep up the great work 8-)
Even in NA form those SR20's make some power. Mods are relatively cheap and easy to come by
