As for the "dont grease the sparkplugs" discussion. For me that is a must. Most modern cars have aluminum heads, and most sparkplugs use carbon steel threads. Over time and intense heat that combination can literally fuse and corrode together. A little dab of anti seize on each thread will ensure those plugs will come out every single time. In my 25 years of maintaining and building my own vehicles i have never seen a single issue come from it. But i have purchased cars that needed the head drilled and tapped because it wasnt done.
Exactly... Bought a used head. Spark plugs needed quite a bit force to get out ... one came clean with the threads, ripping a tunnel in the head. because someone didnt use a dab of copper / alu paste.
Modern spark plugs have a transparent coating on the threads designed specifically to avoid this. Any issue that may arise comes from people who overtightened the plugs
I think it comes to personal opinion. I have always used just a tiny bit of anti seize on my plugs for my alloy heads, and I have gone three years without taking plugs out, and never had an issue. It comes down to not over tightening as well.
I love how they are just changing editing style and saying limited editing. One of the things this channel so good is how they wink into the camera and wait to see who catches on. MCM has and continues to have Phenomenal editing, music, and voice work.

"You can't modify a car that doesn't work"
Me: *offended*
Listen, I've spent like $6000 on my car that doesn't work. It still doesn't work. But at least it has a hectic steering wheel.
same ;_; ive spent 5k on my car so far and the wiring isnt even plugged in or hooked up.
Yes, the Vault Krystals! I still see those on mid00s Hyundais driven by women in their 30s now.
Krystals? So they're named after exotic dancers? (Strippers in Canada)
Them ones are vault savahnas. The crystals don't have the extra bit on the side of the spokes.
@@benjievans7524 Never knew there variations, man you're a real afficionado for 20 year old Bob Jane T Mart bling!
I found a dented Zippo on the road in the 90's and engraved the Metallica 4-M logo into it. I didn't smoke but carried it around everywhere. I even put a new flint, wick and fluid into it. I'm sure it's worth about $800 these days. too bad I didn't keep it! Also on the subject of 90's bands Silverchair rocks!! We loved those guys here in Canada!
Challenge: First turned head looking at the car on camera
These are 90s sex-spec cars. Round up a dozen 40-year-olds housewives at the grocery store and see which car gets them talking about high school.
28:41 boo... moog should have got 90s chrome spinners...
15:15 - always did it by spinning the socket/ratchet extension by hand when dropping a plug in. Made sure it wasn't cross threading then once hand tight I would put on the ratchet and finish it. Never torqued them down, but it's something you just learn to feel out over time. Cracked one once on my Jeep 4.0 I6, that lesson was enough for me never to make that mistake again.
