Am hovering over the " buy avata 2 " button, and have a ( probably ) very silly question : when flying with the supplied DJI RC MOTION 3 CONTROLLER, how do you control YAW/RUDDER in forward flight ?
Does the Avata 2 records audio like the DJI FPV?
My RC PRO Remote just did a firmware update that included the AVATA 2. So no need to but the other new remote.
can it be connected to the monitor via hdmi and with a clean image from the camera without telemetry 1080. Regard Sasa

I had the avata 1 and now have the avata 2. I’m using the motion controller with this one but find it difficult to gain height! When I fly it comes down ok but when I pull up it doesn’t rise that good!? Do you have to use the little thumb stick to increase height again? Thanks
my only one question - did they add option to disable this annoying height limiter? not that limiter that is 500m. Im about limiter that dont allow you to go lower than 30 cm and at all - avata slows down its descending when flyes lower than 5 meters above anything

Watched other videos with opposite opinions on the Motion controller. Don’t have enough flight time with my Avata 2 to make an informed opinion, as of yet. As my skills grow, I think I might move on to the controller.
someone should make a wide angle lens that snaps on the front of the goggles to increase the fov

What is the flight time with the battery that comes with it? Can you buy a higher power battery and get more flight time?
Flight time is 23mintues and no Yu cannot buy a more powerful battery but Yu can buy the fly more combo set and get 2 extra batteries and a Battery case
No DJI drone ever reaches the lab test max battery time they state. Billy stated he is getting over 15 minutes per battery and I've seen others flying less aggressively reaching nearer (but not over) 20 minutes max. So with 3 batteries flown in succession you should get 45-50 minutes combined (not 69).

I'm on the fence about the new goggle design. They just don't look like they would be a snug fit or even feel secure. At the 7:07 mark it's even mentioned it's tough to talk because the goggles jump up and down a little bit.
While talking i.e. very comfortable while keeping your mouth shut as the tension is evenly distributed around the head and not the face.

i bought my avata back in black friday 2023...still haven't flown it yet looll
Just received mine an hour ago. Batteries charging. Will be a few days before I have time to fly it. Looking forward to learning my first FPV style drone
You should only charge the batteries right before you fly. Otherwise they naturally drain themselves.
That’s not to say you can’t like the night before or something. But charging them several days before hand isn’t ideal.
Noted, some person purchased a drone and hasn’t flown it…soooo worthy of commenting.

I took the camera off of the Avata 1 and put it on the Avata 2. The first version is better. I also use the Avata 1 goggles with the Avata 2. Call me crazy. 🤷🏻♂️

Dude, fatigue, pressure points, light leaks all that don't matter. Please YT reviewers stop bragging about it. What matters is vignetting. Is it still there with goggles 3. Also, if you press the orange/lock button, does it disable the joystick and the trigger/accelerator, I guess not. Same old same old.
It’s a money grab no offense but forcing you to have to buy both is a joke, DJI should do better but it’s just like the ND filters and the Mini4 pro vs mini 3 pro.

@@yngveskutle it’s sounding more and more like when they start to sell it by itself they are going to allow the use of the RC 2 as well as the goggles 2 and goggles integra. So if you have those you can buy just the drone “supposedly” and it will work with them; which is also frustrating because it’s more and more punishing their faithful early adopters. It’s the saying “don’t bite the hand that feeds you “
