One of those good cleansing cries where you don't really know why you're crying because you didn't know Paul Hester personally, but after the cry was finished, you felt some sort of relief. Now, a song that can make you do that is truly timeless.

I love stumbling across these songs. I remember when they were climbing the charts in the 80s, and although back then it was wall-to-wall hits, Crowded House always stood out to me as a higher level of songwriting. Each song was like a carefully crafted gem.
One of those amazingly beautiful songs that are so special that they seem to be so simple and yet so emotional. Only remembered it because I was searching through another music app. 13 when first heard and liked it, but now over 30 years on, I absolutely adore the simplicity and harmonies. An all time classic

Right now I can't think of another band with songs as great and ageless as Crowded House. Been listening since I was a kid (am 32 now) and still get tingles listening to their stuff. Perfection.

I love stumbling across these songs. I remember when they were climbing the charts in the 80s, and although back then it was wall-to-wall hits, Crowded House always stood out to me as a higher level of songwriting. Each song was like a carefully crafted gem.
One of those amazingly beautiful songs that are so special that they seem to be so simple and yet so emotional. Only remembered it because I was searching through another music app. 13 when first heard and liked it, but now over 30 years on, I absolutely adore the simplicity and harmonies. An all time classic
