When my kids were younger I'd do the same thing that Alyssa does. I get in the car and go get a treat and drive around and it would just reset me too. We liked Colorado Springs area a lot, beautiful mountains,parks, etc. You are so correct about nasty comments, I have always said it is because they can hide behind the screen. You guys are so solid as parents and definitely structure is important.

I recommend when you have the opportunity, visit Idaho and drive the Sawtooth or the Owyhee Mountains, Idaho does have a lot of beauty still despite the growing pains with people moving in the Boise area. Weather can be unpredictable. I wouldn't mind a series of videos or topics of each of you did something specifically. I know John is busy, however I would watch his DIY videos or giving talks that would benefits others especially Men. I don't get bored ever with your videos. Newport, RI has REALLY neat Gilded Age mansions, Portsmouth, NH has a super cool old downtown area that is next to the ocean and Bar Harbor, ME is just absolutely gorgeous!! How do I know? Just went there in July and REALLY enjoyed everything!!! I don’t know how long you would have, but it truly is worth the trip!!! Maybe you could take Rhett with you and your other kiddos could have some quality time with grandma and grandpa!!! 😃

You just carry yourself very well. Your children are always well dressed and I can see that you take pride in what you dress them in, their hair always looks Amazing. How you do it I don’t know well I do, God gives you the strength And energy too keep going and He places good people in your life that offers their help and that’s a Blessing.. You could do a wedding series because I think you could help a ton of women who are getting married and need help with decorations where to buy certain things or different kinds of foods and why you’ve done all these things and you could be a big help too a lot of people... We have loved doing classical conversations for homeschooling! There is so much that can be done together as a family when they are in 6th grade and under and I appreciate the togetherness of our curriculum in those years…I also love how prepared my graduate and future graduates seem for wherever God calls them…work, college, relationships…

Yes definitely do videos like that! Maybe since I have 5 kids, but watching other people’s day with kids isn’t very relaxing for me personally. 😂 So I love the educational videos on various topics, homeschooling ones, cooking, basically any that has a focus. I still follow some channels that vlog that I love, like y’all,just not as good about watching videos like that opposed to the more focused ones. Oh I love house tours and project ones too! So fun! We did an eclectic sort of curriculum and did different things for different subjects based on what worked for us! Sometimes that even varied by kid. Favorites were Saxon math, Apologia science, BJU history and literature, Abeka languages. Also loving Masterbooks and Generations stuff now. There's so many more options out there now than there used to be!
Alyssa, when my kids were young I did the same thing for a break. The loud music was a must and it did the trick. The q and a's are great. I learn different things not just about your family, but I try to answer those questions for my life if it pertains to my life and it does help and encourage so thank you. I think a video on a specific topic would be nice. I enjoy all your videos and vlogs.

I have an almost 6 month old so I like watching(all the vlogs😉) a lot of the schooling/mom vlogs. It gives me ideas on what to plan for for my baby girl when she gets older!!
You are absolutely right. About routines. Our routine was down so good that the boys would do their bedtime routine on their own including putting themselves to bed. Read a book and go to sleep. They were doing this in elementary and middle school. High school they had jobs driving. So they went to bed whenever. And still made it to school on time. Less stress for everyone..
You guys are the absolute cutest and I would watch you no matter what you were talking about. I have one seventeen year old child and I still love learning how others parent. I wish I had so much wisdom to soak in when she was little but she still turned out pretty amazing.

We have loved doing classical conversations for homeschooling! There is so much that can be done together as a family when they are in 6th grade and under and I appreciate the togetherness of our curriculum in those years…I also love how prepared my graduate and future graduates seem for wherever God calls them…work, college, relationships…

Yes definitely do videos like that! Maybe since I have 5 kids, but watching other people’s day with kids isn’t very relaxing for me personally. 😂 So I love the educational videos on various topics, homeschooling ones, cooking, basically any that has a focus. I still follow some channels that vlog that I love, like y’all,just not as good about watching videos like that opposed to the more focused ones. Oh I love house tours and project ones too! So fun! We did an eclectic sort of curriculum and did different things for different subjects based on what worked for us! Sometimes that even varied by kid. Favorites were Saxon math, Apologia science, BJU history and literature, Abeka languages. Also loving Masterbooks and Generations stuff now. There's so many more options out there now than there used to be!
Alyssa, when my kids were young I did the same thing for a break. The loud music was a must and it did the trick. The q and a's are great. I learn different things not just about your family, but I try to answer those questions for my life if it pertains to my life and it does help and encourage so thank you. I think a video on a specific topic would be nice. I enjoy all your videos and vlogs.

You are absolutely right. About routines. Our routine was down so good that the boys would do their bedtime routine on their own including putting themselves to bed. Read a book and go to sleep. They were doing this in elementary and middle school. High school they had jobs driving. So they went to bed whenever. And still made it to school on time. Less stress for everyone..
