Hey Jackie!!! Im glad you liked it!! I used to think that stencils were a very straightforward one dimensional type of decorating, but that is not the case at all 🙂. You can be very creative with how you use them. I bet you can think of a lot more too.
Hi Ann. So glad you made this video, i have so many stencils...now i can try it all out. 🙏 Thank you Ann for all your time and knowlegde you share with us. ♥️
Yes! Thank you for sharing!! Any suggestions for stencils on already thrown vessels?! Mahalo, Suzy and Ps mahalo for your reply to my previous question! So fast and through you!
Not sure I understand the question - there are lots of available stencils (Michaels etc) that you can apply via sprayed glaze to fired pieces...and you can spray underglaze over stencils to greenware pieces.
Always happy when your new tutorials come out. Such great ideas! Well thought out and dove your pieces are beautiful and instruction is easy to follow. Thank you as always for you inspirations.
Dear Anne, I was shocked (ecstatic) beyond words, to have seen my name mentioned as a member of your research team...I merely was as usual choosing to watch one of your videos of interest to me, and toward the end of the video, oh my goodness... Thank you so much... you really are awesome - continued success!
Hi Susan. That is liquid latex rubber. I purchased it a while back, I think at my local Michaels store. People use it to make small molds with. It was perfect for that project.
Hi Dianna. I just focused on the stencils in this video and thought the construction of the pieces would have made for a very long video, haha. Do you have a piece that you were interested in seeing. It would be fun to do a video of the construction.
Hi Deborah. thanks for watching and I see you found the bonus part of the video!! Kudos!!! I think I spent way too much time carving that one, but it was so exciting to finish it 🙂
Ann, you amaze me!! These ideas just keep coming! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us! Also…. Is there a video of you making the rocker vase? I love this idea! Unless I missed it somewhere! Beth
Anne, thank you so much for your videos and inspiring tutorials!!! Love how you keep trying new things! So much inspiration in every video!! Question. Any links to where you get some of your very cool stencils? Love the particular ones you used in this video!!!
@@davidblackwell8060 Hey David!!! You are so kind! Thank you so much. I have collected these stencils for a long time. I bought most of them from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Give them a try!
The stencils I used are ones I have collected over the years but probably purchased most of them at Michaels. There are no templates for the actual forms on this video HOWEVER in the description for the video we just launched today you will find a link to the "Lemon Wedge" piece here: imgur.com/a/EJP6Ira Would love to see your version!
You are incredibly creative! How can I make this type of stencil design from clay and affix it all over liquor glass bottles to change its look? Would you mind trying one?
The latex mould layering idea certainly sparks some creativity into me! Thank you again, Ann! 🙂

If you search on our videos at the top of our channel page "lids" - you should find some vids on how we made pots with lids. Thanks!
Can you show an example of making the lid for this piece.
I do have a couple videos on making lids that might help
