This is one of the best RPG i've ever played. Loved the gfx and the beautiful world plus the unique combat with all the weapons are really fun gameplay.
I, for one, was in awe to see how it looked. Though we get "a lot of the same" I sincerely think that the new combat mechanics, armor sets and weapons they added and the environments are so refreshing and deserving of the highest praise. As a fan of KoA (10 year old game btw) this was indeed a love letter. Gonna go give a smooch to THQ Nordic :*
I’ve beat this game around 30+ times, I beat it every 2 months for 8 years. I think that this was a great DLC because of many reasons like it opens up a new story for a sequel or something like that.
I absolutely loved the original, and so loved that there was a remaster. When I found out about it, I couldn’t sleep that night, I was so excited. I immediately bought the version that would later include the DLC. The whole game to me is like R.A. Salvatore’s dark elf books come alive, it’s like being able to play them. If you have enjoyed the game at all, I can’t recommend enough that you read the books (commonly referred to as the Drizzt or Dark Elf books. R.A. Salvatore was the man in charge of creating all the mythos and culture for the original KOA.) I’m hoping that the fact that THQ Nordic took the time to redo their entire tool chain in order to do the DLC is a good sign that they intend to do another full length game after this. Fingers crossed.
Given they ask $20 for the DLC it feels good to have purchased the Fate edition beforehand. I paid $20 for that edition, and now have the DLC to play through. I even checked, and if people aren't alergic to EGS, you can now buy the Fate edition for as low as $15 with their Christmas sale + voucher. So you're basically getting $5 discount on the DLC + the base game for free, and a soundtrack to boot.
What a wonderful game...my fiance bought this for me and I DID not want it...I love rpgs and he begged me to try it...Im 4 hours in and all's I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!! Anyone that hasn't played this and loves rpgs this is a NO BRAINER....it's wonderful and the story grabbed me from the opening sentence...I felt like I was in the Lord of the rings...thats all for me cause I'm gonna be stuck on this for awhile 😉 thanks baby!!!!
I pre-purchased Fatesworn with the remaster and have been waiting for the DLC and will playthrough for might, finesse and sorcery. My last playthrough I ended up getting married. We need more games like this. I've been disappointed by every other game I've purchased.
I wish the original games two dlcs would have increased level cap by 10 each so 60 would have been level cap by the time this dlc came out making 70 as the final. Once more dlc would be cool tho. Also, I wish they would have included more races into the game and enemy variety when the game originally came out. Yea it would be a lot of work sat as a gnome or kollosae.( gnome could have died studying and retrieving bodies from the war. Kollosae could have been a random body that appeared while retrieving bodies even tho they don’t know of existence until a certain dlc. Story would have to change a bit as well. Not knowing what you are until you arrive and find out your race exists and their own race’s savior. Still it’s an awesome game that would need a sequel to add alot of stuff like this.
Chaos is real! Imagine real deal actual chaos and chaos god invades your world and the way to win is to move a lever. Maybe that makes sense? You defeat the chaos and lack of order with the simplest, effective example of math and physics - the almighty lever device.
The only thing holding me back from finishing this game is the numerous loading screen you have to go through just to go from one place to another. It also doesnt make sense that you need to first go out of a building just to be allowede to fast travel
Very excited for Fatesworn, definitely buying it. Looking forward to all the side quests and pulling multiple levers...LOL ...Thanks for the info ... hoping for a sequel.
I had just put this game down about halfway through my second playthrough about a week ago. Maybe it's time to take a hiatus from Greedfall and go back to the Faelands for a spell.
Nordic was smart they paid a mere 5 million dollars at an auction to buy over 150 THQ titles.. and they did an amazing job making money on all of them. Wish I had bought them thats like nothing.
It just bothers me that I can't just get this DLC for the original game. I don't want to rebuy this game when the original I have is still more than fine to play.
I mean it sucks but it's the only way THQ is able to sell create/sell content legally. They had to aquire KoA, release it under them, then release the new DLC.
Did you ever review something about the Chronos : Before the Ashes ? As u might know Its connected with Remnant from the ashes . Soulslike without Ganz, what a world of memes.....Thank You for providing good info. appreciated. We share quite similar taste fore rpgs....I po naski zelim ti da i dalje radis dobar posao brate ....fare thee well from Zagreb ! 🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇
I really want to play this but KoA is one of those games I played almost til the end multiple times but always stopped for some reason and now I just can't face playing through the remaster :(
Kingdoms of Amalur was not an underrated game and I'm tired of hearing it is. It was objectively good and the only reason it "failed" was because of literal politics. KOA has a very interesting history and there had been a fair amount of disservice to this great game and it's developers.
What I liked with this DLC is at least the combat is better than Oblivions, and the world looks more interesting than Dragon's Dogma. But I haven't played KoA yet.
Don’t expect too much. The game is great but the aesthetic is a little deceiving to how good it actually is. I’m not saying don’t try it but just don’t go in with high expectations, let it speak for itself.
I feel like I have the unpopular opinion here 😂. I absolutely LOVED koa playing it this year, but I’m currently working through this very dlc and it absolutely turned me off of it. Im just trying to get through it as quickly as possible to get back to the base game and other dlc created by the original studio. I feel like they tried and put care into the dlc, but the execution was poor. For one, the dlc pigeon holes you into playing a might character or at-least a character revolving around physical damage with the implementation of the chaos damage system. Heck, even the armor needed to get through Telogrus’s freaking chaos magic barrier thingy at the end has might stats associated with it despite having no skill requirements. I played as a pure mage build on hard mode. Imagine my surprise when they made my bread and butter, spells, ineffective till that chaos shield goes down. It’s not like over a hundred of my points have been invested in that or anything! This could’ve been fine if they replaced my spells with the chaos spells or something, since you know, chaos magic is magic. But nope, just stuck with a slow attacking staff with short range and chackrams. Not only that, but the game punishes you for not investing in blacksmithing. I think an rpg has failed if you can’t play the playstyle you want to and can’t rely on loot you find to get through the game. Crafting shouldn’t be overpowered. I didn’t mind in the base game cause I had spells, but now I don’t. My character revolved around crowd control with spells and I find my self being stun locked when fighting a bunch if niskaru and a horricrux at the same time since I dont have that crowd control option, and dodging is hard with multiple attacks attacking you at the same time. Blocking doesn’t work either, cause again, I’m a very squishy mage. The only way I get through these fights is by spamming health potions.
Another thing, I feel like the main quest is just a series of fetch quests and grinding to get better chaos weapons. Thats fine for an mmorpg, but not single player. ESPECIALLY for the main questline of the dlc. I found myself enjoying side quests more from the dlc 😂. Ignoring the unique weapon and enemy placement spamming and such, my final pick was the story. Why is Telogrus claiming that everyone is bound by fate when the fateless one got rid of it? At the end of the main quest of the base game, no one has a set fate anymore, so how is it possible for the people to still be under it’s yoke? These inconsistencies and gameplay problems overall have been a bad experience for me.
Professional voice actors are very easy to find again, all they had to do was call their agents or the agency they work for. As long as they are still around and still acting, they want to work and will be easy to find.
Bro please give me the save files of your progress, i accedently lost my progress of the game 😭 . And it was more than 60hrs+ of gameplay . please help me 🙏

Yeah, THQ Nordic's dlc for older games we love is great. The only thing better would be if they released them at a reasonable price. 😩
20 bucks is reasonable for a packed dlc though
Free
15 bucks for base game+ DLC (Fatesworn Edition ) is a really good price.
Yeah, they can pay all their employees in your love for the game......
@@jjstraka1982 Right; because, of course, charging a reasonable price and making a profit are mutually exclusive.

its the best rpg ive played
hands down
and its huge
Cool, I was waiting for the new dlc to come out before finishing my play through of the remaster.
I personally love the game bit to me companions would've been a great idea tbh
Amalur is an interesting rpg for sure. I like the game alot, but my fav dlc has to be The teeth of Naros.

the great/longsword on thumbnail what's the name of it???.... is that really exist?? cuz it's look so cool
Did they make unique chaos weapons too??
Do you need to get to the DLC to actually lvl past 40?
1:56 to skip to sponsor
Don't you start getting Chaos weapons late game in the base remaster?
I had frame rate issues when i played...were they addressed? I would love to actually play

Got KOA for PS+
I was expecting new skill trees :( or at least an extra tier to finesse might and sorcery. Is there zero new abilities?
I feel you but don't forget that you can always invest in other skill trees!
Yep, lazy DLC. Considering it is easy to max out lvl40 just in the main quest let alone adding the 2 existing DLC's it's a massive no from me.
