During parc ferme the car is fully assembled but the device is not able to be used when the car is fully essembled.... so its not used during parc ferme
I could care less at this point… Mercedes steering, Ferrari aero, McLaren front wing, and now RB height device, all four major teams have been caught bending the rules without punishment.
Red Bull gives you wings, but the real question is how many times can you be found "CHEATING" and still not be penalised in a way it actually hurts eg; loss of both drivers & constructors points would be a great start
This is no different than an engineer slowly removing material until they find the failure point and then adding it back once they’ve found the limit. The teams push the limits (as the sport is LITERALLY supposed to do) and sometimes they go over the limit without intending to, and then the FIA does their job and course corrects. Not everything has to be malicious. 😂
This channel and its readers are a complete joke, clearly aimed at people who are unfamiliar with the technical basics of F1 cars. The "bib" is open-source technology, and all teams have access to it. The only team with a button on the steering wheel to control it is Red Bull, while other teams integrate it elsewhere in the car, linking software to hardware. The teams warned the FIA to investigate Red Bull, suspecting that they could change the ride height under Parc Fermé conditions using the button. The FIA warned the teams about this. Moreover, Red Bull openly admitted to having the button without any investigation. It’s quite obvious to have a dedicated button for adjusting the bib preferences during qualifying and races, but there are many other ways to hide such features. So, please keep your accusations of cheating to yourself. I applaud teams that innovate, like McLaren did, because without this kind of evolution, the sport we love wouldn't progress.

They will never say they used it between qualifying and racing. And the FIA are so lacking, they will never really investigate. So notch anyone one up for rb
This reminds me of Mercedes' not-so-hidden toe adjustment when pushing the steering wheel, or Williams electronic suspension in the 90s, F1 teams have always been like that, sometimes they get their way and win championships, some do not, whether taking advantage of gray or even black areas, as long as they are not discovered they will always try to take advantage of them until they are either prohibited or accepted and others can implement them.
So what will happened at USA later? Is redbull going to use this illegal car? Also, don't forget to spread the fact that Kimi Raikonnen is the coolest driver of all time.
I heard it was McLaren. It’s not the driver that can change the floor, but the technical engineers. Did they do it- everyone else has to do it from the outside. Anyway who’s on the sprint pole 🎸😊
@@Angry_Squirrel555 well i mean its a clear difference, i assume you are talking about the McLaren mini drs, that was not breaking any rules, it was on the edge and they were pushing the limits, however this thing from redbull is clearly a rule break there is no gray area its just doing something that is already banned in the rules
Mclaren drs flexed more as video evidence showed at speed. Illegal therefore now removed. Issue for FIA is to prove RB used devise post qually. Did RB improve during race? Look at last half dozen races. Who has been doing all the winning?

Nobody likes cheaters unless it is themselves. Keep that in mind while others cry about it. If it was used, it was not used. Or it did not work. They all cheat imo. Or push just past the edge of the limit. Some just do it better.
its f1.. the teams have to push the boundaries, alternatively do you think mclaren's car is 100% legal? the only real reason why most FIA rules exist is because teams were doing something before anyone else spotted it and then rules were implemented to make things "fair"
All teams do this.... McLaren can use flexiwings and Red Bull tries something (that btw didn't really work) and here you are crying wolf.... FIA admitted they couldn't prove it was used by Red Bull, the flexiwings are being used by McLaren.... Hypocritical, wouldn't you think so? And even if they have been using that bib-device, I don't see where they did get an advantage... Lando was just driving away from Verstappen, remember?
Very different circumstances RB had something clearly against the rules on the car they knew was against the rules and could be used without detection. ML had something that was within the letter of the rules but FIA judged not in spirit (RB and Others have done this) and FIA have said they will update rules for next year to make it illegal so ML changed it.
@@lostsheep4205 How is it that the bib doesn't have to be removed then? Every team have that part, they just adjust the heigth from the ouside of the car, as RB will be doing in the near future... FIA admits that it isn't possible to see if and when it would have been used, and leaves it at this... I wolud love to see F1 returning to fighting on-track, now it is mainly politics off-track...
Since when did guilty without proof become the norm? Go collect proof before accusing someone of doing something illegal. (As an example you can have a crowbar without using it for something illegal) If they did something illegal the FIA would have given them a punishment.
Bad analogy...You're not violating any rules by owning a crowbar and a crowbar serves a multitude of functions, the vast majority of which are legal. The button or whatever RB installed could not be used in a legal capacity so why was it there? If it serves no other purpose than circumventing or outright violate rules, that's all the proof you need!
Max and Checo knew the device was fitted to their cars yet Max thinks it’s one of his rivals?! He’s not stupid so why is he lying? If the bib device has always been illegal then why have it installed unless you were going to use it. Presumably it is a part or collection of components with some kind of weight. Red Bull announces parts upgrade for this GP, I’d really like to know when this was decided (that it would be for this GP) I know parts take some development research and time but is this just muddying the waters to avoid potential penalties? Wouldn’t it be a coincidence if these new parts make the car slower…. Didn’t Red Bull introduce floor parts earlier which made the car slower? Perhaps they might make a reappearance this weekend!
If you believe they weren't using it, I'll give you a GREAT deal on a bridge in Brooklyn.... But I think Lewis Hamilton was right - this is a sport about innovation. If you can think it up and pull it off, that's a ding on everyone else for not being as creative. That's part of the reason I think DAS shouldn't have been outlawed, and we should be allowing active suspension. Heck, just imagine what Senna could have done had he been able to join Williams when they were still at their technological peak.
This is nothing but sour grapes! Surely the Solution is no rules, teams can do what they like. Or teams have the SAME car and it’s down to the driver, tires and team work! Or there is no constructors championship!
If they weren’t using the cheat under park fermae , how come that since then they have not won a race. Iff they have done it since but with a more disguised adjustment method, that would be they reason for a better result in they last race.
We need to save every little gram to make the car lighter and faster …. Hold on put this system that we won’t use and increase weight just for no purpose at all …..

Get proof of them adjusting in parc ferme and get them disqualified from the race after the race is done. Thats the way you should take down a rival.
If it’s such a great advantage why is Checo still dog shit in qualifying and racing?
No clue
Maybe it’s not fitted to Perez’s car 🤔
@@topgame88 guess we will find out this weekend.
During parc ferme the car is fully assembled but the device is not able to be used when the car is fully essembled.... so its not used during parc ferme
Riiiiiiiiiiight!
It is still illegal to have that device installed.
Well,,,,, the way Checo was driving with "this device" he clearly did not gain an advantage
Red Bull have been using this device since 2023
and ur proof is?
I could care less at this point… Mercedes steering, Ferrari aero, McLaren front wing, and now RB height device, all four major teams have been caught bending the rules without punishment.
Could or couldn’t???
idk most seem pretty grey this seems pretty much clear cut illegal
british bias as always, disgusting
@@nestroit5010I'm French, it's still cheating
What did Mercedes do??
Red Bull gives you wings, but the real question is how many times can you be found "CHEATING" and still not be penalised in a way it actually hurts eg; loss of both drivers & constructors points would be a great start
Well if you look at perez... the device makes no difference
F1 has sunk in a sewer
The stupid cockroaches, mostly British (how strange), coming from under their own shit (it's floating in british water nowadays), DON'T wanna hear that!!!! They don't understand anything and just start to hate without knowing exactly what's going on. They're all just silly fangirls, not REAL racefans.
then there are consequences for mclarens illegal wing as well
You mean that thing that was investigated and found not illegal?
it's illegal ?? but passed tests and still aloud to be used
@@lunyswordpersonalaccount1126 it was illegal and they chose to take it off before it got banned in exchange for a favour to look into another team when they wanted and they cashed in quick investigating Red Bull for this. Welcome to the behind closed door deals of F1 with the FIA every team cheats and every team makes deals with the FIA welcome F1 if you're not cheating you're not trying.
@@GARAGESXERO why they take it off the car then?
@@lunyswordpersonalaccount1126 same to you, why has it been taken off and wont be used? doesnt sound very legal
What advantage? Their lead is slowly getting smaller.
Because all their cheats and loopholes are being closed off and they have to compete on a level playing field!
@@Mox2077 This particular device is not showing to be a distinct advantage.
Getting smaller yes 5,6 cheating devices now become 2 ,3 only.. don't worry it will take a few weeks for them to fix new illegal devices
@@Mox2077 Sounds like the Brady haters.
yes, RB has been using it. the proof is that they had it installed. im new to F1 and even I can see some foulplay going on here.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence
McLaren talking about another team cheating and the FIA stepping in is pure hypocrisy. They just got told to change their front and rear wing… 😂
They will never say they used it between qualifying and racing. And the FIA are so lacking, they will never really investigate. So notch anyone one up for rb
Max didn't know about the device being used by his team just like a certain Austrian painter didn't know about a certain atrocity.
ILLEGAL Car! They did not say they used it to break onder PF.
Redbull should have their points taken from them for the full season
Complete and utter nonsense
The proof would be the amount of plank wear of RB vs the average of everyone else through out the season
That's just pushing the limits way way too far,
Dirty Red Bull
If you aren't cheating, you're not trying. Go Redbull.
I heard it was McLaren. It’s not the driver that can change the floor, but the technical engineers. Did they do it- everyone else has to do it from the outside. Anyway who’s on the sprint pole 🎸😊
redbull and their drivers should be disqualified from this season
F OFF, Lewis Scumilton must be fired for his cheating mercedes since 2016
Then the same rules should apply for McLaren and Mercedes for their wings.
@PolyGerman43 who's to say radbulls performance haven't dropped off because the cat was out the bag on this ? Just because we are just hearing about it doesn't mean this hasn't been going on behind the scenes.
Fia already been pouring all over it and looked at the car as well no news yet, why didn't they wait
DQ each car for as long as the device was installed. Full season if need be.
Questions we need to ask are, what is Newey’s role regarding this device? And did this play a role in his departure from RB?
Disqualify them and take away their points !!
So their performance had nothing to do with aerodynamics, only mechanical cheating.😮
If they aren't using it, why is it there? What a stupid argument to make
Nobody likes cheaters unless it is themselves. Keep that in mind while others cry about it. If it was used, it was not used. Or it did not work. They all cheat imo. Or push just past the edge of the limit. Some just do it better.
7:21 - I hate Lewis but I love the fact that he was honest about the innovation. Everyone remember Mercedes DAS?
cheaters should get banned for the season...
its f1.. the teams have to push the boundaries, alternatively do you think mclaren's car is 100% legal? the only real reason why most FIA rules exist is because teams were doing something before anyone else spotted it and then rules were implemented to make things "fair"
THEY DID NOT GET CAUGHT USING IT
All teams do this....
Very different circumstances
RB had something clearly against the rules on the car they knew was against the rules and could be used without detection.
(As an example you can have a crowbar without using it for something illegal)
If they did something illegal the FIA would have given them a punishment.
@@Mox2077 no there is proof that the device is there, not that is is used.
It is likely that it is used but that is not proof
NEVERE TRUST RED BULL. ..how do we know they're not using it thru the race, perhaps as an auto 2ndary adjustment with another dial?
Bull. Its an ILLEGAL device that shouldn't have been on the car at all. Doesn't matter if they used it or not. They need some serious sanctions.
Why bully RB?
like it was in the 80s is best, these regs have ruined F1 …Only agree with real safety rules
Why would they spend time money & resources implementing this then not use it? I mean dose a bear 💩 in the woods?
This is nothing but sour grapes! Surely the Solution is no rules, teams can do what they like. Or teams have the SAME car and it’s down to the driver, tires and team work! Or there is no constructors championship!
Of course they have been using it. Why would they design it that way and not utilize it.
This is third hand information.
If they weren’t using the cheat under park fermae , how come that since then they have not won a race. Iff they have done it since but with a more disguised adjustment method, that would be they reason for a better result in they last race.
We need to save every little gram to make the car lighter and faster …. Hold on put this system that we won’t use and increase weight just for no purpose at all …..
a few years ago when FER was told they couldn't muck about fuel flow rates it was VER that had a snarky comment about, well LEC time to return the favor...
Redbull will not get a punishment just look at the over spending on there budget last season they got a slap on the wrist.
How do other teams find out about secret devices?
It wasn’t secret it was documented in the spec sheets freely given to fiat and teams
What an embarrassment to F1. Let's see a substantial penalty for RB. It shouldn't be on the car period. A very disgraceful champion and team that continues to cheat and get passes. Disqualification!
What an embarrassment to all those stupid cockroaches, mostly British (how strange), coming from under their own shit (it's floating in british water nowadays), who don't understand anything and just start to hate without knowing exactly what's going on. They're all just silly fangirls, not REAL racefans. BTW, it's NOT illegal. But i'm pretty sure, you wouldn't understand it if I explained it to you. Cry about it, you know that McLaren's car is also illegal😂
I wonder if this is part of the reason Adrian left the team.
at last, at least you reported on it, normally you skirt the issue, kudos
Red Bull is a disgusting team and FIA is spineless.
Strip them of all wins and points from this season and they don't get any wind tunnel time in the off season
Lol, you don"t even know the facts yet and still strip them ? what a dumb-ass!
Every team cheats and bends rules thats the fun that engineers have in the sport finding loopholes and breaking rules without being caught. The sport is literally built off breaking rules. Welcome to F1 if you're not cheating you're not trying.

Cheating, the only way Red Bull can win?
Cheating, the only way Mclaren CAN'T win. LOL
Ban them
The only way to defeat a NON-british driver who happens to be the best racer in decades.
You wouldn't put a device in if you weren't going you use it of course they cheated

The car should be banned for the rest of the season
Roflmfao, but mclaren is allowed to illegally use their DRS, that is okay? Sure okay buds. 👍🤣
And that's Pole position hahahahaha
This is total non story and so much pf your story is false.
The fact that Redbull voluntarily admitted they have it makes me think they don’t find it as an advantage.
Admitting made plausible deniability possible. If they had waited for the FIA to finish stripping the car they couldn’t claim it innocent. I myself am not claiming they violated parc fermé but admitting something hardly means innocence
