That's the truth, but Western neocon-pro NATO media intentionally hide this fact and don't waste time and keep advertising a failed system. Great analysis. But there is a flaw in your understanding, and that is; PAC 3 missiles have been designed to intercept “Ballistic missiles”. These by their nature follow a parabolic ballistic flight path. Therefore all the fire control computer needs is 2 points in space plus a velocity to predict a 3rd point in space, at a time in the future (several seconds to minutes). Here is the problem…Kinzal does not follow a ballistic trajectory therefore predicting the 3rd point in space is virtually impossible. Computer algorithms may be able to predict several likely interception points, but it is still up to luck for the missile to be in the right place at the right time.
The next major problem is the speed differential between the interceptor and the Kinzal. In order to successfully defend against airborne threats the interceptor ideally should be faster than the target. In this scenario the Kinzal is not a little faster, it is 2-3 times faster.
Even if there is an interception the next problem is the Kinzal missile is travelling with a minimum of 9.76 Tera joules of kinetic energy whist the PAC 3 is only delivering 0.09 Tera joules. Is this enough to destroy the Kinzal? If it does, the resulting explosion would be in equivalent to 24 tonnes of TNT going off. I wouldn’t want to be living on the outskirts of Kiev when that happens.

A ballistic missile is a missile that is launched in a parabola it goes high up into the high sub-orbit which is in space (the only way a ballistic missals can be shot down is when the missal reaches its maximum height and slows down enough so the interceptor can actually hit it). If the missile reaches its designated altitude and is not intercepted it starts free-falling to its target and it can reach speeds of +9 mach and are impossible to intercept.
Now Kinzal is based on Iskander ballistic missal, BUT it has no similarity to it (other than that it looks similar), AND Kinzal is a hypersonic cruise missile that travels in a straight pattern at mach 5+ not a parabola like other ballistic missiles.
So no the Patriot system is not designed to shoot down cruise missals that travel 3.5 km in 1 second

The US may have a big stock of Patriot launchers, but they have a critical shortage of missiles and can only produce a few hundred of these missiles per year. Ramping up production to the level necessary to keep Ukraine supplied with these missiles will take years.
There is already a serious backlog in the delivery of these missiles, so even the small production quantities can not be supplied in total to Ukraine, without the US risking to loose it's customers.
Ukraine fired about 30 missiles in a few minutes, this is more then 10% of the US total yearly production.
Ukraine will simply burn through any stocks supplied by the west in no time, while Russia has increased it's missile production dramatically and can keep this going for as long as necessary and will keep pushing Ukraine to use ever more of these expensive toys.

My simple calculation assuming that a Kinzhal is fired 1000 km away from target and moving at 5000km/h, it will reach Target in 12 min, that means for patriot to down it; it needs to intercept it 500km away from Target since patriot speed is 500km/h (Kinzhal moves at 5000km/h). Patriot can only start tracking at 160km distance, which means it will have 1.92 minutes to ready, fire and successfully down a Kinzhal and the point of impact between the two missiles is likely to be at the target; possible but not plausible for the patriot to down a Kinzhal

The 1983 air intercept system did the math
      7 times now
All successfully, it managed to calculate an intecept and carry it out for every kinzal fired at it so far
It did get hit by something, but not a kinzal. If it was a kinzal you'd have seen the kinzal go down in the video, leaving a bright hot trail as hypersonic movement though the dense lower atmosphere creates a plasma sheathe.
It must have been a drone or cruise missile that snuck through. Or a falling peace of debris. Unfortunately for Russia that means nothing though. Patriot is a distributed system, consistenting of many independent components, you can't take out all of them in 1 go without a nuke

The Kinzhal is an airlaunched Iskander missile. The design of the Iskander begun in late 80s, the first successful launch was in the mid 90s and it became operational in the mid 2000s. The Patriot was introduced and became operational in the early 80s but the system underwent significant modernization programs so basically nothing is the same as it was in the 80s except ofc the name.

The Kinzhal is a development of the 9K723K1 Iskander. Development began in the Soviet Union in 1988. The first successful launch occurred in 1996. Kinzhal entered service in 2017.
That's 29 years to develop a missile based on what is a 1980's design and that is packed full of western technology in order to make it work.

So it is highly doubtful that F-16 would lose to Mig-21. Besides even if thsi actually happen it doesn't mean anything. My take is, MiG31 laced with Kinzhal is unstoppable , unless you are sending in a F22 to intercept it .
MiG31 is the fastest fighter jet in service and also is one of the highest flying , so when Russian geniuses plan an attack they take the jet to a high altitude within Russian airspace so that the Kinzhal descends with extreme hypersonic speed and the Patriot cannot intercept it in terminal phase , it will just whiz by the umbrella, well unless there is an accident.
There is very little chance of proximity detonation when something is moving over Mach 12 and Patriot is approaching it with high velocity missing the incoming projectile and detonating after it is out of damage range.Kinzhal is also smaller than the average ballistic missile - it is like one MIRV unit.
The Kinzhals struck one Patriot system and took out several ammo dumps .
Patriot system might have intercepted some other Russian cruise missile which were being fired to open up the airspace for Kinzhal's entry.
The West is full of loudmouths and propaganda these days , Russians always had been those lethargic cool headed genius striking at the right time and place after delays.

Slowest speed of Kinjal at low altitude is Mach 5. It is one mile per second. Anything visibly slower is some older missile or drone.

It’s not Neutral when you don’t Tell the complete Story. Also you already show you aren’t neutral by using a thumbnail that pokes fun at the Patriot. For example the Saudi hitting the Patriots was because they weren’t looking in that direction and had no AA defenses facing it, so when they did detect it there was little they could do.
Subsequently its not like America sat still after that happened. They upgraded Patriot a LOT.
Calling the Kinzhal hypersonic is like calling fire hot. Ballistic missiles have always been hypersonic or close to it due to their design and operation. The fact that people make such a big deal about it now is purely propaganda. The missile has maybe some more maneuverability, but if it were a true hypersonic missile it would not be called a ballistic missile. So we know that at best the Kinzhal is an improved ballistic missile. Difficult to shoot down, but nothing like a true hypersonic missile.
That in no way proves that either side is correct, but we can guess at who is correct: Russia does not deny the amount of Kinzhals fired, yet they talk only about the impact near the Patriots. The other 5 either missed (missed a CITY), malfunctioned or were shot down. Russia is also quick to claim that just because an impact happened that it must have destroyed everything, but we have no proof (yet).

Khinzal is abit similar but is not ballistic missile coz it doesn't follow a projected trajectory. It manoueveres and change trajectory independently on its way to target. Ballistic missiles follow one trajectory and are only supersonic. The Patriot missiles are supersonic and can only intercept the Hypersonic weapon in its ballistic phase after launch. Thereafter its not possible at all after khinzal reaches hypersonic speed and trajectory. US defense expert explained yesterday that the only WAY THAT A PATRIOT CAN SHOOT DOWN HYPERSONIC WEAPON is before such weapon reaches hypersonic speed. 2ndly he said the other possible way is if the hypersonic weapon is not hypersonic as claimed by Russia. In absense of these two scenarios, he said there is no way patriot can shoot real hypersonic vehicle. Rybar published photos yesterday and geolocated the place of the Patriot in Kiev. One system was at Airport, another was in residential area and 3rd one was not fielded. One at the airport was destroyed completely, the residential one was just damaged. Check Defense Politics Asia last evening video upload on Patriot attack. Also check TeleTruth video upload yesterday on Destruction of Patriot. From the video u can see when the lightning struck the system with just fire all around but no more outgoing missiles.

Is not relevant if kintzal hit patriot, the probability of a kinzal missile hit a patriot battery, after the battery is located, is absolutely huge. This is the math of this clash.
The main problem, that about the demilitarisation issue should point to Russia not to target the patriot battery’s, is the fact Russia being attacking with flying scouters propelled with a 2 stroke engine, with the price of a ice cream, and USA is spending Patriot missiles to the air defence against that kind of flies, millions u$d / unit.

Russia can and does use lots of decoys to overwhelm AFU air defense systems. They even use simple and cheap 'Kamikaze' drones as part of an attack, they don't need to launch many Kinzhal or Kalibr missiles. Patriot is an effective PIECE of an overall Air Defense system, but only when it is supported in an integrated fashion with related air defense equipment. As a stand-alone or near stand-alone system, it is vulnerable to saturation attacks. Since Patriot missiles and equipment are VERY expensive, the cost/benefit is massively on the side of Russia in this duel. Ukraine had to launch 30-40 Patriot missiles a couple of nights ago against only 2 Kinzhal missiles (and probably a lot of cheap decoys/drones). Assuming 40 missiles, that is $ 200 Million against maybe $ 2-4 Million for the Russian attack (not taking into account any damage caused by the Kinzhal missile). Russia will take that cost/benefit 24/7/365 and force the West into bankruptcy. This comparison needs to focus more on cost/benefit and less on 'Did the Kinzhal actually destroy Patriot Launchers?'.

Theres an error here. Taking out 1 component of a patriot will not disable it. You have to kill eaither the command vehicle, or the radar. It you take out one of the launchers it will only desotroy the missiles in that launcher, bur the rest will remain functional. This is why patriot batteries are spread across a wide area when theyre actually opperating, so its unlikely thqt even 1 middile grttig through will disable it.

How's this a neutral analysis what you used over 2 mins to clearly State the capabilities of the patriot and then used a few seconds in a seemingly delibrate attempt to hide the capabilities of the Kinzhal 😂
You repeatedly termed the Kinzhal a ballistic weapon and was clearly hesitant to state it's supersonic properties especially it's mach speeds and how many times faster it is compared to the patriot..
Also, you stated assumptions as facts and that alone takes any credibility of neutrality. Russia still have more than what it needs so the so called support from China I BS as China is pushing for the end of the war..
I don't think it's hard to state it clearly that the patriot lacks the capabilities to intercept objects flying at over mach 6 speeds with a range of over 2000 kilometers. If I were to face any enemy who has that, trying to downplay it's capabilities would be the last thing I'd do.
Also, you tried to balance the possibilities of the patriot intercepting the Kinzhal and the Kinzhal striking the battery of the patriot to be the same chance. That's another lie, chances of a patriot intercepting a Kinzhal is almost an absolute Zero infact it would be a miracle.
Check the specs of the patriot. They weren't made for objects flying at hypersonic speeds. But the Kinzhal on the other hand despite all mainstream PR the Kinzhal has demonstrated an insane accuracy especially in the strike last year.
Destroying a patriot that seemingly emptied its launchers in a failed attempts to intercept a Kinzhal clearly denotes superiority over the patriot. It's not pleasant to the ear but that's the fact.
Seeing a destroyed missile with a seemingly created hole and say it's an intercepted Kinzhal is the dumbest thing you might have ever heard. Even if a Kinzhal at its terminal phase collides with a stone it's clearly going to produce more damage that that hole. So if a missile succeèds to collide with a Kinzhal they're both going to ve completely shattered almost beyond recognition.
Sentiment is the reason people fail to take critical reasoning into account. If I'm to face a dude with a Kinzhal I'd not go with a patriot. And if I'm to chose between being the dude with the Kinzhal or patriot I'd be the dude with the Kinzhal anytime anyday.

The kinzhals, assuming you fire enough of them, can overwhelm the patriot system. How many is enough? Well in terms of identification and selection you need about 1500 incoming missiles to overwhelm a battery. However all patriot batteries themselves are a network, not all placed in the one area. So a three system network might be distributed in an area over perhaps 90 miles radius. So even if you take out a radar or command vehicle the launchers are simple moved to another system. This is a distributed network... Think internet not individual computer.
So when one unit, say a launcher is destroyed the system simply uses the redundancy of the other launchers to fill that gap.
However we still don't know how good kinzhals are and today's arrest of the engineering and science team all accused in Russia of treason sort of tells us the kinzhal project was hollowed out with corruption.
Either way what it also tells us is Russia are happy to advertise the effectiveness of patriot and give good reasons not to purchase kinzhal. It also tells us the Russian tactical nuclear missile deterrence is pretty much obsolete.
