This was one of the best Christmas candle reviews ever. Wish you had done another. Great to see all the Village ones.

David, you're too kind! I've nearly taken it down a number of times, as I thought it was pretty ropey, filmed on my tablet I got the mic position wrong at first I think. This was at the height of my candle watching on YT, so I just wanted to join in ;-). I've still got a couple of hundred in my cupboards, but I very rarely buy now, maybe just at Christmas. I don't live in that lovely little house any more, I'm in a big pile in the West of Ireland, maybe I'll do a candle video here one day, just for the hell of it. Thanks again & a very, very early Happy Christmas!

@@Chillmax yes, we all buy buy buy then think OMG far too many to get through comfortably. I’ve still lots in the cupboard, around 70, and I usually burn one daily on the fireplace but very few are Yankee, more B&BW. Think because your home was small and cozy with that fab fire and beingChristmas it was atmospheric and made for a great video. Maybe if the time is ever right make another with what you have left and what you’re using at Christmas 👍🏻

Nice review. An even more easy way to clean the wax is by adding hot water from the kettle until you cover the desired surface, then you leave it for a while and if you cannot remove it easily, after an 1-2hs of soaking you repeat the process. I do this with all my candle accessories too and it works brilliantly, if not is a butter knife will do the trick after soaking. It looks so cozy by the fireplace , also very nice decorations. Christmas by Kringle is a favourite of mine and my medium jar throws really well. They have a website in the UK, a daylight/melt was unde 2 pounds on a sale. Good luck with all.

Hi Elizabeth & thanks for your nice comments. I realised when I watched it back that I wasn't totally clear about the cleaning the glass process with the blow torch, as I meant this is good to do when you're still burning the candle, as it can correct little mistakes in the burn as you go. I didn't mean do this to clean the glass when you've finished, but thanks for the tips, I just leave my old jars in soak for a day & that helps a bit, but all old candle jars aren't easy to get clean are they ;-)

Actually it will work, I change the water 2-3 times every hour to make sure is hot and with a knife I can easily remove it. Thanks for the tips on using the jars for coffee, etc. Will definitely do that.

Ah great video, and thanks for the shoutouts! I'm sorry to hear the Christmas Cookie tarts were duds for you. That scent has gotten so light over the years, and the tarts do eventually go bad. I love all of your holiday home decor; cozy is an understatement! BTW, I love the rug you chose for your living room/where you filmed! Great job :)

Morning Anthony, thanks for stopping by, your kind comments & tart advice. I have burned a few more CC tarts and they go up & down in strength, but I agree, it's probably not a good idea to keep them for too long; maybe a couple of drops of vanilla in the burner would help them?! I'm not watching any reviews at the moment, as I'm determined not to buy any candles (for a while) and they do encourage purchases, but I'm sure I'll catch up with your good self & your lovely reviews soon. Hope school & work are all going well, I promise to stop by the Cafe soon ;-) Best wishes Max x

I know I said how this is a very good video, but UA-cam land is acting odd. I thank you for your kind reply to the first comment and I just subscribed. Thanks again.

Who knows if you will check this but wow, I really enjoyed this video! Yankee candles have become very, very light and weaker and weaker every time I have purchased. Done with them and moved on to Village. Would love to try Kringle!

Mauriosa Wall Thanks Mauriosa, I bought mine from Kringle Candle Shop UK, very good store, just slightly slow on delivery. They've had some good deals on, I think the large 2 wicks were about £14 each.
