The Old Town Sportsman AutoPilot motor has holes on the case that are designed to drain any water that could have happened to get in. Make sure you store yours in this position!

Thanks for the video. How much water do you normally get inside the kayak after each use? Do you take drain plug out at the end of each trip?

Generally none, most if any water is just condensation.

Hmm , I had to take a sponge and get a decent amount out.

Have you drilled or cut any holes that may leak?

Do you ever apply any kind of lube/grease to the shaft of the Minn Kota?

Yes, I have another short video on that. Old Town recommended a product called Door Ease. You can pick it up on amazon.
