Sales expert Mace Horoff says, "The question isn't whether you can sell or not-the question is, "What motivates you to sell?"

I'm top of my game in my industry - selling travel technology software, and he's quite right. I just got off the call with a (prospective) client in the US (I live in Russia), and we spoke for 30 minutes. Much of it was about small-talk that had nothing to do with the sale. People do business with people that they like.
Every salesperson on the planet should see this speech. Mace Horoff nails it!
I am a TEDx fan and watch episodes on Netflix. This is one of the BEST, most practical TEDx segments I have ever seen. This is an IDEA WORTH SHARING.
