    Incredible video 👏 Thank you very much , the 2549 are the cables that I have always been using on my computer desk setup and they do sound phenomenal!

    I bought all the parts to do this about 8 years ago. I've just got them down from the loft as I thought I needed a "special" expensive Neutrik crimping tool 😂

    May have to try these connectors next time. But I must admit that I am very skeptical that they would make a difference over Neutrik Black/Gold soldered with Kester w/ Silver solder…

    Thanks for making this video. I have made my own speaker cable using your guide but paid $110 for 4 xlr cables. If I ever need longer xlr cables, guess I'll make my own to match the nylon sleeving I have on the speaker cable.

    Muchísimas gracias por este nuevo tutorial. Hace algún tiempo, publicaste otro magnífico tutorial para el cableado entre componentes mediante RCA y me quedaron estupendos siguiendo tus indicaciones. En cuanto al cable, ¿Cuál crees que sería el mejor, MOGAMI W2549 o MOGAMI Neglex W2534? Teniendo en cuenta que la resistencia, capacitancia e inductancias son similares en ambos modelos y que el w2534 es de cuatro hilos, al unir en paralelo dos hilos, la resistencia e inductancia serían la mitad. Lo pregunto porque he visto fabricantes de cables XLR que utilizan el W2534. Saludos desde España.

      @Tharbamar  Місяць тому +1

      Hi, thanks for your comment.
      W2549 is best choice if you want absolute transparency, W2534 in the other hand highs are slightly rolled off but it is a great option if you’re having interference can’t go wrong with either one.

    Hi, I own a Topping A 30 pro, but I'm thinking what would be an upgrade up to $500-600 and I would pair it with an SMSL 9 ultra. Is it a Topping a70, Xduoo ta-22, SMSL sh-x...?What gives cleaner ,clearer, more natural sound for my headphones and IEMs? Thanks and good luck in the future

    Interesting. I tried RCA (REAN connectors) and XLR (NEUTRIK connectors) versions of W2549 both soldered with Cardas solder. To my ears they sound muffled. Soundstage is non-existent, highs are rolled off, a lot of details is missing ... Indeed they sound neutral but thats it. If you are looking for high-resolution cable you should look something else. But for $30 you should give a try. Maybe you will have a synergy with the rest of you system.

    • @Tharbamar
      @Tharbamar  Місяць тому

      Thanks for sharing, W2549 is neutral for me but it can be on brighter side with some recording.
      Sound stage is wider than much more expensive cables I have but for the depth I have to play around with speaker placement other than that W2549 is neutral in sound, could be more to do with paring system.

    I like the insurance policy of using 4C StarQuad Mogami W2534. Or is it really not worth worrying about and much better to just use 2C W2549 ?

    • @Tharbamar
      @Tharbamar  Місяць тому +1

      W2549 is sonically better cable if that should be in your decision, quad IC cables tend to suffer airiness and extension.
