Nico mentions "abtauben" in his verse. This actually originates in another reaction video for "We Got the Moves", where the guy described their head bobbing as "pigeoning" - "abtauben" is the German translation there. For anyone interested, the reactor is called RichoPOV and has got a glorious mustache.

This another fun one. At first I didn't know who this was because I don't know the name, but i recognize the face. It's the dancing Guy Fieri in HypaHypa and the chef in MC Thunder II. Favorite part is Nico's very sensual "Oh". Haha

Kalle worked in a dancing school as a teacher. He doesn’t look like a dancer, but he actually is one :-) I really like how Kalle looks in the bath tube when he sings. So great!

translating lyrics with google is hard, especially a song like this with so many slang and inside jokes
I highly recommend the deepl translator in such cases. It even gets some of the syntax out of hard to understand sentences. It's definitely better than Google!

Thay started as a "porn core" band and their songs were that funny back in 2011. They started to be more serious with Crystals. Basically this is why Sushi left the band. They did not agree on the path the band should continue. I am so glad they improved the original EC from 2011 and started being themselves again. Nico era is the best.
Well if you want serious with Nico check out Love|Hate it came out at the same time as Hypa Hypa and shows that Nico is quite capable even when he is serious

"There are times where you have to just have fun" that is basically the whole concept of this band. they are all party animals and that translates simply into the art they want to make. I can not imagine them going the way that WHITECHAPEL goes, which is way more emotional, personal, etc. I mean, may happen one day, but highly unlikely ... :D

Exactly, Eskimo Callboy are my required moment of awesome levity in this current period of largely depressing and draining life. I have a place for thought provoking music which protests and embodies my anger and frustration, but I also have a place where I simply want to sit back and grin like an idiot, these guys are simply da bomb.

6:16 finally someone else said it. There are songs wich are just supposed to be fun, sometimes you just have to enjoy a song, not everything has to have a deep message. That’s why I like your reactions, you are one of the few that doesn’t just overthinks a song and just enjoys it.
I just saw Kalles post on another channel that it took 8 hours to write, produce and mix the song and another 8 hours for the video. It is absolutely amazing to have this done in such a short time.

I cannot stop listening to this track, I think you're dead on that they are just phenomenal songwriters, they can do this party stuff as well as the serious tracks. That prechorus, the sheer pace of it and the way it steps up is just so catchy. I absolutely love it.

The bath tub shot immediately reminded me of Loriot's cartoon of Mr Mueller-Luedenscheid and Dr Koebler, who sit together in a bath tub of a hotel suit and quarrel about Dr Koebler being in the wrong hotel room. It was first broadcast in 1978 and is very well known at least with the older generations. Those two jump up, (completely naked as they are taking a bath) several times when they send snarky side comments into the other one's direction.
The song itself is amazing but seeing someone like you reacting to it makes it 100 times better. It is always fun to see you enjoy the music. Thanks a lot and keep going.

Not sure why I took so long to watch this reaction. But I love the fact that you totally get how I try to convey Electric Callboy to everyone. They're just so much fun. So much positive energy. You can't help but smile. In the last year they've become my favorite artist and go to "happy place" music. And somehow even still not knowing the words, Castrop X Spandau may very likely be my favorite song of theirs. Really glad you get to work with them on their US tour and can appreciate the awesomeness of what they deliver. Maybe I'll run into ya at the sold out show in my town. I didn't expect this to be nearly as good as it turned out to be. And now I rather seriously wish they'd do a co-headliner tour with Twelve Foot Ninja. If the music & videos are anything to go by, they'll get along perfectly... and I'd probably have to crawl out of the venue.
