That would be mega one day!! Like you say the priority for the time being is sorting the handling, but I’ve been following what he’s doing for a while. Even just some intake work and a map would be nice!
Hi there - been enjoying your videos on the E86. I have an E85 myself but would love to move to coupe in the future. You seem fairly tall how are you finding the seating position? are you planning to make any changes?
Theres lots of room compared to many cars, no probs with standard seats and a helmet. I will be changing the seats shortly to hopefully get even lower, but more importantly improve the support and lose some weight!
Sounds just like my 46 M3 when I did Donington and Blyton when it was standard. Comfortable and nice to drive home in but understeer and a bit benign and a bit boat like. A square tyre set up and some 18kg rear springs sorted that out 😅.
So glad to be back at it! First time out with the ITBs at Blyton it was very wet and then the clutch gave up, so no reference time yet. We soon will have though! The old red mk1 with a vvt and ITBs did a 1:13.3 2up, so there’s lots of work to be done! The 1:16 was comparable to my old Clio 200 and Will’s 350z, both sensibly prepared road and track cars. 👍
Great to see this footage from a fellow Z4 Forum member . Looking forward to see how it improves with the changes in set up .👍
Get this down to Bruno at BDS Motorsport in Kettering once you've got the handling dialled in. 300bhp na is achievable with intake, cam and tune

Awesome update! You can definitely dial out the understeer with some suspension tuning and an alignment. I'm excited to see how the car progresses!
Thank you, me too, hopefully soon get the M3 arb and KW rear springs on for another go. Oh, and an alignment! 😅
Been looking forward to you guys getting back on track 👍
Thanks Jamal, it was much too long, hopefully well geared up for regular track time again now. 🤞

No half measures there, you hero!!
Do you run aftermarket bars now on your current beauty?
Problem is he did the contrary of you : he has put a very soft spring set on rear
How is your red Toyota Celica ?
Hope you still own it.
Good to see you back on track! How much slower is it than your nc at blyton?
