Excellent information. I do intermittent fasting since August 2014 (one day on and off). The quality of life in general has improved quite dramatically. I am 73 years old weigh 74 kg. (178cm) and don't use any medication. Walking an hour a day and bicycle riding helps muscular strength supporting joints and organs. My doctor is scratching his head every time I see him because he does not know what kind of drugs he could possibly throw at me.
Woah this is awesome reading this. I’m 28yrs old
Great 👍
😂
Osm sir
😂👍
I noticed that my nighttime leg spasms COMPLETELY ceased when I was following a STRICT 16/8 schedule, eating between 7AM and 3PM. My blood pressure also normalized. The moment I fell back into old habits ALL of those problems returned 😭
How long did it take for your body to become adjusted to your eating schedule?
Great Information. I eat OMAD(one meal a day) I beat diabetes and CKD in the last 2 years.
Thank you sharing your experience with the OMAD diet. I'm glad it has served you well. First time hearing of it. Currently working to reverse moderate CKD (supportive supplements) and lose weight (totally got off gluten)., with early signs of some success, thus far,, not believing that CKD is forever. Your comment supports my disbelief and hope in restoring my health after 20+ years of chronic dis-ease since getting the Hep B jab. Currently, I sometimes tend to eat only one meal a day. now that I am eating a plant-based, GF. nutrient dense diet, so I will def look into OMAD and give it a try. Feeling all the more encouraged,, thanks to you.
What’s CKD?

Just embarking on my fasting journey for mental health. All this information is fascinating. Thank you!
Thank you!
First vid, new sub. Very helpful information, have recently started IF and already noticing improvements.. (weight loss, better sleep, more energy, more clear mind).. Thank you!
Thank you, for this. valuable and personally timely info regarding the benefits of intermittent fasting, particularly the beneficial resetting impact on DNA.
Omad+ paleo 2 years lost 197 lbs all my disease and a 20 yearold egg allergy. Super strict Nothing Processed no bread no dairy no seed oils. All Natural foods and liquids.
Hi Dr. Hashmi, I’m your long term fan when I worked for Kaiser. So good that you have this UA-cam channel.
What is the fasting window do you recommend? I don’t have any diseases that should prohibit me from fasting. When I worked long night shifts, I fasted for 16-18hr. and felt great. Now my lifestyle is sedentary in an office job.
Thank sean hashmi md for sharing about benefits of fasting
A lot of really good information...going on😇
😂😂😂 You noticed going on!
This confirms what I’ve already seen in my own health and wellbeing. I’ve coupled it with CBT and the results for me have been phenomenal.
👍👍👍

A friend just had surgery to remove fibroids this week will like to conduct a 7d fast to enhance/accelerate healing. Good idea? She is an avid faster so her body is accustomed to it. Please help!!😀

I did 18/6 fasting for a week, lost 4 lbs of muscle, fat went up. Any ideas?
Omad with a two-hour window works for me.
That is a good option, indeed.
It is freedom
I did dry fasting for 10 days. As a result, I got white teeth. Also, I thought about worms. was dead
Is IF good for me with ckd3?
Good question. I’m ckd 3 also.
I would say yes.
As long as you get hydrated, yes there is no problems
I eat once a day for about 30-45 minutes so I’m fasting about 23 hours a day. Then once a month I do an 84 hour fast, 3 days plus 12 hours on the first of the month. And I only eat plant based food, no animal products. My LDL is 55.

Even as a person who goes to the gym 4 days a week '
Get huge gains- goal- clean bulking '
Fasting health benefits are beyond losing weight, bulking/ bulding muscles ' add weights '
I wants to include 72 hours fasting atleast once a year.
The benefits from it is insane!
Once a year is too little.
3 day fasting will be a wonderful journey for you! Please make sure you take electrolytes and fast with water each day. And know to be cautious witj your food and eat slow the few days following your 3 day fast in refeeding process to be safe. 😊 you may also experience bathroom troubles once you are feeding again

Drinked plenty of water with Himalayan salt included
Magnesium supplement '
Black caffe"
Just did it '
😊
Just make sure you eat enough during your window and you won’t be hungry.
My first year was 8-12 hours fasting to 12/12 hours 3-5 days a week. I was 12/12 7 days a week by year’s end.
Then it was16/8 3-5-7 days a week the next year.
16/8 7 days a week with longer hours periodically in year 3
Now I do 16++ IF daily to 24-36 hours periodically.
I don't know who to believe anymore. Dr. Layne Norton posted a video about new study which shows that IF may reduce ur lifespan.
Na just observe people who eat less and less frequent have longer life. You dont need a study just interview observe your grand parents and other older people and you know whats the habbit for longevity.
Not true, fasting is very healthy
😂😂😂😂😂 IF isn’t any better than any other way of eating when calories are equated.
