Have you considered instead of posting just the training session, you do a video of you breaking things down after the fact. Love this new style of video you guys have been putting out. Thanks as always. Very helpful.
Another great post! Thanks
Joe has so much to offer with his vast experience. Thank you so much, Joe. For the shoulder press, why does she not sit out to angle her forearms stacked right under the bar?
My best ever coach 💪💪👍👍 great Joe 👍👍
really useful and helpful
great work
Can you explain the rear delt cabel exercises
You should do youtube-shorts with titles "how to train (insert muscle part)" and then explain the best excercises/science/study based. That would put you on the same level as jeff nipperd/athlean x/ etc, but you have the better quality and know how. Then those young ppl seeing those shorts may move on to your channel and seeing all the othee great long videos.
You deserve just much more views. So you should think about shorts. Cause the algorythm isn't in your favor as you have big breaks between your longer videos
For the rear delt cable, I see R Delt stop working past perpendicular to the back. How much past is acceptable? I generally stop right at and leave right past where there is still tension on delt. Right wrong?
Did I miss the side delts work, or was it not there?
What do you think of that 2020 Ackland study saying that side delts have just as much leverage as front delts in overhead presses done in either the scapular or frontal plane? Have seen Paul Carter cite that several times recently as reason to support importance of overhead pressing for side delts. curious your interpretation and application of that study
Imo I see all these “smart bodybuilders” on social media, but I believe Joe is actually the smart one because he knows these studies don’t mean shit compared to what people actually experience. Also I think the term leverage is used incorrectly by these people but I’m not a kinesiologist
Regardless of what a study says, this isn't what happens in practice. Have you ever seen someone with huge side delts that only presses? I haven't, in fact it's almost always the opposite that people who do 4 variations of a press then throw some bullshit sets of laterals at the end have undersized and disproportional delts.
@@omcctwg I think I’m more asking the other direction: can I maximize side delts without ever pressing over 45 degrees?
I think John Meadows had a lot of content about not over head pressing much at all. He mainly did the lateral raises etc. I’m not a big fan of OHP. I do but keep the weight light and use volume. If I go heavy it kills my shoulders because of older injuries.
@@patrickjulius7352yes you can, the guys with the biggest delts usually don’t even overhead press at all.
Hey , I noticed you have no trap workouts , would you be interested in filming any? What is your workout for them? They are pretty strong on your back.
For the algorithm
Post videos daily
shoulders and delts ? 🤔is not the same ?
Train me!
22:10 No. Look at the twisted angle of her wrists. Totally misaligned.
Just a flexed wrist. What do you think it’s “misaligned” with?
needs to be more aligned with the universe - in that position u are neglecting spiritual gains
So much internal rotation in so many of these exercises 🤦♀And doing that UNDER LOAD is not just ignorant but irresponsible
Because you’d know more than him
how do you get stronger? *edit: (and prevent future injuries) /edit* could it be doing something under control & progressively higher load? hmm..
