Introduction to Casper Wyoming!

- Casper, Wyoming is a great place to visit and live, situated at the base of Casper Mountain and along the North Platte River. With nearby mountains, rivers, streams, and reservoirs, it offers numerous outdoor recreational activities. Casper is the second-largest city in Wyoming with a population of just under 60k, offering a small-town feel with many amenities of a bigger city. It experiences all four seasons, with winters being cold and snowy, and summers being warm and pleasant. Casper has a rich history, with several museums covering the historic origins of the town, including the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center and the Fort Caspar museum. The discovery of oil nearby in the Salt Creek Oil Field in 1895 helped the town grow, and agriculture, cattle ranching, and fossil fuels continue to be important parts of its economy.

Fun Fact: Casper has the largest Bond Tactical Soap sales than any other city in the US
I had to Google that lol
LmfAo0, classic! That’s what’s up/TWU. Praise Cobes and Alisha’s magic, especially so for the latter as she is such a good sport about the Cobraverse. Although, I’ve noticed that the Cobraverse has mostly embraced Homegirl Alisha and any trolling on her vids is good natured and not directed at her. Thanks for being so cool, Alisha.

I was down there last fall and I saw this badass Gothic wizard downtown changing the traffic lights at his will and pleasure. I was amazed at the surge of dark dank energy coming from his custon crafted wand as he looked through his glasses round rim and squinted his eyes, nose, flaring his nostrils. He asked if i had a smoke, so I gave him a newport. He gave me a dark satanic blessing and a slice of tactical soap. Now I am a gothic wizard apprentice and i expect my wand very soon.
Hail the Dark Lord of Casper.
Nice video too by tue way. Just like I remember it.
Casper Wyoming is goth and smells good.
Thank you for watching! I apprecaite it!

Goth?
@@1stcivdiv81 Yes sir, you've got the sexiest goth badass cowboys down there!
I mean, Casper is alright, but for your own safety, stay clear of the bog zone
Be careful if you go to Casper right now, I heard there’s a huge turf war going on right now between the Cobra Stoppers and the Spitter Spies
Was curious what. Those? Are. They gangs? Are. The sports teams? I would like to know
If those are gangs I’m laughing we ain’t got gangs!
Yes they’re extremely dangerous, I heard about them. The local loaf n jug and frostys bar had to place a ban on them.
Circle of protection on all of you
@@KIDD1052they’re a very dangerous gang of sickos (f**k sickos)
I can tell you that the people there are so warm and friendly.
They are dog friendly also. A few years back I was in Casper and walking my dog, a 20 lbs Chihuahua/Italian gray hound mix. I was looking for a good cowboy hat and came across Lou Taubert. I was looking inside and one of the great employees came out and asked if I wanted to come in. I explained I had my dog and he just said it's Okay bring him in as long as he's trained. I got my hat and Tucker got lots of attention. Yes, Tucker is well trained, he was my wife support dog until her death.
Perfect! Yes people are amazing here!
Casper is also home to Gothic king cobra jfs and his magic wand business
Thanks for watching!
That guy is a weirdo and we don't want him in casper
@@user-uu5pe3nq2n Gothic King Cobra is an angel. You take that back.
Did you meet the great goth wizard of Casper? Josh Saunders ?
I enjoyed your video. It was a nice walk down memory lane. We moved around a lot when I was a kid, but my most enjoyable 3 years was the 3 years we lived in Casper.
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Love the sidewalk talk, very creative! (Tactical soap, got it!) May move to Casper next year, currently in Clarkston, Washington. Thanks for info!!!
If i wanted a night out in Casper, does it serve decent drink combos?
Also, can you predict the weather in Casper? I've heard that pesky drunk wizard's cause thunderstorms from time to time.
Most places have Happy Hour and we have been known to have all 4 seasons in one day so the wizard is definitely being pesky some days!
Clint Saunders come get your boy
Every single liquor store has a drive-through, and they mix your drinks STRONGER in the drive thru than they do if you go into the bar.
My family & I are thinking about moving there … job relocation 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️ the more research I do , the more I’m liking it . Will visit real soon 💙
We would love to have you here! Casper is an amazing city.
Very interesting.
So, I'm from Casper.. and I think you did a great job on this video.
Thank you! Thank you for watching!
I LOVE IT!! I will see you soon about a small house or trailer ❤
Awesome! I might have one!
Casper is beautiful.
Yes it is!!!! Thank you watching!
Thanks
Wife has found a perfect job and we will be moving there soon. Used to live in Douglas, WY several Interstate miles to the East of Casper. Looking forward to returning home.
Awesome! We go to Douglas all of the time! I would love to help you find a home alisha@casperpowerhouse.com
I love Casper! I'm going to go back to Casper in autumn. Maybe even find a little part time job.
The Mountain is beautiful when the leaves are changing in the fall.
Great video. I wish my Casper experience was better. About two weeks ago April 3, we were passing by Casper when a surprise blizzard hit. We were marooned us there for 3 days holed up in a motel. We even had to scrounge for food because the motel ran out of food. All museums, businesses and restaurants in town were closed. We finally found an open Albertson's supermarket thank God. Then we learned about Wyoming's meager snow removal budget. It took 3 days to open up I25. Secondary roads were all still closed. I guess secondary snow removal means "wait until it melts." I'm a New York stater. We pay huge taxes, but get spoiled by services such as snow removal. As we left Casper, we got a brief glimpse of Casper mountain. Didn't even know it was there for the previous 3 days. But thanks to your video, I'll try another visit some other year, but not in April.
We got an insane amount of snow this year! We often hunker down and wait it out. I hope you give it another try someday!
Lol as someone raised here I agree snow is horrible
You got the ACTUAL Wyoming experience. Well, just shy of getting into a fistfight with cowboy at the Beacon. 😅
Hello Alisha! You're clearly not familiar with Josh Saunders, Casper's hottest internet celebrity! Josh is a boglim king who like to stream from his dungeon and pass out on his couch after drinking enough sugary "alcohol" to put several men in their graves. Surely Josh is the reason why Casper on the whole is in decline. If you ever see a large clocktower appear out of nowhere one day... don't say I didn't warn you TWU

I'd love to move to Casper!

Hello! I have had the opportunity to work in Northwest Wyoming for four summers. My husband and I have been thinking about moving to Wyoming but we aren't sure where. Casper looks like a great place to live from what I see. We are currently living in Utah.
Thanks so much for watching! Let me know if you have more questions.
Hello! As a fellow Casper, i'd love to move to Casper in the future. I am currently located in sweden born and raised but i would love to live there. All the things you described just reminded me of what i have today, weatherwise we are the same hahah! Very good video Alisha:)
Thank you! I would love to visit Sweden some day!
thank you for sharing this video. are there any houses for sale in the neighborhood that this video is filmed at? Those are nice houses!
I used to live there
Same. So glad I don't anymore. 😅
WINDY--VERY WINDY
Only when the Dark Lord is conjuring storms.
It has wind year around and is extremely cold in winter
Not just "wind," *W-I-I-I-I-I-N-N-N-D-D-D-D-!-!-!-!* 😅
Currently living in France but thinking seriously to move to Casper, WY. We will go there next December for reconnaissance.
I loved the bit about agriculture, cattle ranching and oil industry. I suppose there will be none of that nonsense there about global warming that they want to impose on us in the EU : they want to reduce farming, cattle and stop thermic engines in our cars ! The US, and Wyoming in particular seem to have a feel of freedom. The more we enquire about Casper, the more it grows on us.
Hope to see you there in December !!! Take care in the meantime.
Thank you for watching! Hope to see you in December!
@@alishacollinsrealestate For sure, we'll do our best to meet you in person. Me and my husband we enjoy your vids about Casper, we look forward to visiting. We hope the US will accept us as legal immigrants in the near future ! We pray hard for this !
I'd love to hear your impressions after your visit. Please update this thread when you return!
@@PollyHistor I will try to remember to update indeed ! Are you from Casper ?
@captainblake4574 I used to be. I moved to Oregon 25 years ago. I have many great friends who still live there. Some of my closest friendships, even to this day. ♡ The people are the best but the weather is the WORST. I sure don't miss that wind and snow! If you have an opportunity to catch a Chad Lore show, absolutely do!!! Eat at the Cracker Barrel and tell Jacquie that her former employee in Oregon, Miss Black, sends her love! 🖤🥰🖤

ME TOO! Thank you for watching!
I would love to visit Casper or any part of Wyoming really. From California, what would you think would be the most efficient way to get to this state?
Fly to Denver and rent a car to drive. First you will get to see the state and the flight will be less expensive.
I'd move there in a second, but I'm no dummy, the winters are long and brutal ❄ ❄ ❄ 😢
They aren't for the faint of heart!
Great place to visit, terrible place to live. 😅
Been here for 28 yrs. I love Casper but its one downfall is.the wind, especially in winter. Hold onto your hat. 😂
Thank you for watching! yes hold on to your hat!
What are some places to take the kiddos? Any children’s museums, parks or anything to note? I’m from Denver and moved to a small town in TN but we miss the west. We need to keep our 2 year old happy too!
We do not have an amazing children museum like Denver does however the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center is so fun. Our library does a great job with story time and bringing in special guests to put on shows for little people. We have a indoor trampoline park and some really amazing parks!
Open the door and go outside. That is the best entertainment here in Wyoming😊 Tons of hiking, fishing and hunting opportunities
Did I miss medical? We are looking to do an early retirement in a year or two and my youngest has a rare medical condition. She is an adult but will always be with us.
I will do a video on that! Not sure why i haven't!
My wife is Hispanic. Would there be any concern in that matter?
As a european, there isn't a lot of places in the US that I would give up my european living privileges for, but Casper is definitely one of them!

I assume that you bettter live there if either you have a job in casper itself or if you can work at home 5/5?
I can't assume people driving every day to Colorado for their jobs, right?
I think people commute from Cheyenne but that would be a long trip from Casper. Winter weather would be a problem too.
I am from India going to shift to Casper , Can I get the apartment on rent for the short term like 3 to 4 months
I believe there are a few bigger complexes that will do short term rentals. I believe The Preserve at Greenway is one of them.
Wyoming rednecks aren't nice to people of ethnicity. 😢
Please tell me how it worked out for you. I'm curious because I would love to relocate somewhere like Casper,Wyoming but haven't figured out the logistics of finding a job, roof, transportation somewhere else. Piece by piece figuring it out one step at a time : )
is it still snowing?
No. It did snow last friday but it didn't stick. My guess is we will have one more snow storm that sticks.
Hey, Im from Germany, europe and I am interested in any places all over the World.
Id like to know what do wyomians think about Germany and if I could move there.
Im 24 years old. Many greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 🇩🇪
I have lived in Casper my whole life and what I think I think y’all are cool
How’s the apartment hunting????
Depends what you are looking for, but it is doable!
I just imagine this real estate lady trying to figure out what the hell everyone is talking about.
Very friendly place. The employees in subway always add extra cheese, yes please, to my sandwich.
I'm glad you've had a positive experience at Subway! Friendly employees can really make a difference.
There was that one homeless looking guy that used to work at Wendy’s though, who always got the sweet and unsweetened tea mixed up in the wrong containers. He used to always mutter something about “sickos” and changing the weather with a wand or something while he was cleaning the dining room. He sure did smell good though
Bron in Casper Wyoming, moved to fort Collins Colorado... It's just not the same, even though I'm a brown person and didn't get the best treatment all the time , Casper will always be home.
Hopefully you will find your way back someday! Casper is like no other.
Home of the Casper boglims basket ball team.
What a disappointment I thought it was named after the ghost.
By the way did you know? Casper is the hometown of actor Jim J Bullock of "Too Close for Comfort" and many other tv shows.
I did not know that. Thanks for watching!

Can a Latino buy a home there without any KKK visits?
Wyoming doesn't really have KKK. They're blatant with their racism and don't hide it behind hoods.
