been through casper numerous times. I have always found casper welcominig and friendly. The town is true wyomng folks.. no matter where you go or live. What you project will go a long way with the locals. Wyoming is a great place to live!!
We were in Casper for about an hour, driving up from Denver to Dubois. Stopped at an ice cream shop there, run by two young people. They were friendly but not too talkative (like you had to pry a conversation out of them). But it seemed like an awesome town, in an awesome state, and I’m trying to convince my wife to move out there. Political climate sounds like it would be a nice welcome home for us, as we share conservative values.
A lot of people pride themselves on being CONsevative, but got derailed by following a CONman. A lot of people try to justify the CON job. Conservatives are fine but people unwilling to admit that they’ve been conned are not fine at all.
We are hoping to be there by next late spring/early summer...bought our rig, (to be delivered Feb or March) next have estate sale and sell home...then we hit the road...so looking forward to becoming a part of the community...we are joining family/friends who have already moved there! This has been a three-year plan and it is finally going to happen...if all goes as planned.
I’ll retire in a few years and currently live in Southern Colorado. I love the outdoors, fishing especially. I’m used to wind. It’s always windy here, but we don’t get much snow in the winter where I live. We get the cold without the fun of snow. Spring lasts about two weeks, we go from cold to hot quickly. Casper may be a good choice.
Sounds like paradise to me being conservative here in Texas, looking for a change from super hot weather. I look forward to spending some time up there in the winter to see if my wife and I can handle the winters there. Until then, look forward to your videos.
We've visited Casper twice this year. I agree, the people there are very nice and friendly. If you had a list of strange things that happen in Casper you could borrow this one. I'm from California and when I arrived in Casper I noticed a very, very, very strange occurrence. Everyone was driving the speed limit. Go figure. Say Hay to Izzy for me! P.S. We should be moving there early 2022. I will be looking for some land to start a off grid homestead. I'll look you up when we get there.
Well for starters there is a dark and powerful warlock who roams the streets of Casper. The weather and the stop lights have been known to change at the flick of a wand by this dark rogue wizard who also smells really good, can definitely hold his liquor, and has only been banned from 3 bars in town.

For a conservative republican it is difficult to live in the Chicago area. Mostly Democrat/high tax. Thinking of Casper or the Dakota's. Tired of paying Illinois high taxes. 2nd highest local and state tax burden in the country.
Yeah, I think democrats would feel out of place in Wyoming as a whole cause it is a very conservative state. Just like conservatives feel out of place in CA. That's why as a conservative, I'd rather be in a state that leans more that way. I'm not far right, I'm a little more moderate, but I still hold about the same views as most republicans. @@alishacollinsrealestate I am a machanic. I have extensive knowledge of EV's. As you may know, there are two elements that can kill a battery. "heat, and cold." Somewhere like Wyoming for the temperatures can drop to -20 windshield, that can impact the battery by as much as 45% (Tesla won't tell you that!). So for example, if you need to crank up the heat (And you will) and you left the house with 230 miles of range, immediately you will lose nearly a 100 miles of range. EV's also don't put out natural heat from the engine like a gas powered vehicle does, so it's working much harder. Most Canadians won't buy them, and for good reason. Also, the infrastructure in rural states will never materialize due to the cost to build out the infrastructure. There's not enough people in those areas to justify the massive cost. Also, who the hell wants to stand outside or sit aro uh nd ina freezing car when it's -20 out while your car takes 2 hours to some juice? People buy them, and realize that they aren't for them and then dump them on Craigslist. EV batteries cost 12-20k for replacement.
