If this isn't the best live performance in a small venue ever produced I'll eat my hat! What talent is on that stage backing him up, all star artists in their own rights. They all were there to enjoy supporting one of the best singers, musicians and songwriters we will ever know on earth! Props to Springsteen and James Burton on this one.
Sherry you are so right !! I am assuming that you have seen the Traveling Wilburys, End of the Line. I just loved that. Sherry by any chance do know how to find a show on PBS, with Roy and many of the background people, young at the time, who became musical stars like Lovett, and some others I can't remember all of them. It was a show I saw in OR on PBS it was a GREAT SHOW !! I would love to find it.
The Love, Respect and Admiration that was seen on Bruce Springsteens face, as it were on all on The Pros, Musicians, and such, is Absolutely, AMAZING and well Deserved. You cant say enough about Roys voice. But one of the more impressive aspects of this concert is how all these famous musicians balance with RO and never upstage him...especially Bruce ..who shares a mic with him on Dream Baby and totally blends with Roy..and check out Elvis Costello.. watch his strumming the guitar in the back ground on various songs..his strum pattern is totally in sync with Roy and Bruce....we will NEVER see a concert that equals this with such a fantastic singer backed up by some of the best singers and musicians of all time ! HISTORIC !
All these amazing singers on one stage. Bruce was so proud to be singing with Roy Orbison and he showed it. You could see the admiration on his face and they were all so happy and having fun. I love to watch and listen to these guys everyday. I love these Black and White videos. I’m 73 and I’ve loved these guys for years. 💜❤️☺️
I saw that too, felt how thrilled and honored Bruce was, he didn’t take his eyes off of Roy. He savored every moment. They were all honored and they’re all the best of the best. I’m crying again. ❤️

I'm 78 I listened to roy since I'm 12 ,1956. .... There should neveer be a down thumb for this .Bruce Springsteen got his start with Roy .it made Bruce a star .Roy was the voice he was great .more then Elvis even roy set the pace ,and Bruce Springsteen and the boys backed him up.you had to be there .it was magic .pure magic
This works because everyone understands that Roy is the master and they are simply so happy to back him up on the same stage. They all make this the greatest live session for me. All the top artists of their field coming together as one.

Just the three woman choir is worth attention, I tried to count all Grammies and Oscars these 3 girls have got :-) Great video!

I'm 68 & enjoying RO's voice again. It seems like I didn't recognize his talent. And with all respect, every generation calls newer music garbage. But I have to wonder where & what will be coming next.
Being 32 I've always been saddened that I can never see incredible artists like Roy in concert 😢 he's one of my absolute favorites, from singing to his composition/writing 🏆

My "Sweerheart" had Parkinson's Disease and took her life........I miss HER SO MUCH!!!!!! Roy Orbison's music..... .Especially "You Got It" is about all that has kept me together since her hanging herself........people were so cruel;and his music was so deeply "loving" it helped her for a long time to keep on trying but finally the cutting comments by people about her condition, which she had no control over, "pushed her over the edge"......so now I listen to the songs we shared together alone and empty without her........THANK YOU, ROY ORBISON; FOR WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN Lorna and I during the years we did have tohether!!! You have given us moments no one else could or would have!!! THANK YOU ETERNALLY. J.W.🐶🐕

What a heartbreaking story Jack. I understand about music sustaining us through tribulation. I also had known several people who committed suicide. It's so sad but don't blame yourself there probably wasn't anything you could've done . If there was share that with the world . Suicide is still pretty taboo and so many people dont know what to say in any death but in a shocking death they really don't know what to say. God bless you with peace .

Roy will never be forget. Even the Songs with Traveling Wilburys was such fun and they left him a memory in the song "End of the line" in the form of a guitar in a rocking chair. I loved that and still do at the age of 66.
As an avowed atheist, I have to say that this man's beautiful voice is almost enough to make me believe in a higher power! And how fun is it to watch the great Bruce Springsteen playing with one of his own heroes and doing his trademark "haahh !" at 3:05 !!
